Matthias stabbed the Knight in the chest striking its critical connection to this world. It staggered back and then charged forward, all the while leaking energy into the void.

The Spectral Knight seemed unphased by the damage that it received. It struck Matthias with a powerful blow that sent him reeling into the dumpster. The lich stabbed at him in his weakness.

Matthias parried the stab into the side of the dumpster and kicks the lich backward towards the ghoul.

The lich fell into the ghouls leaving both of them in a heap on the ground. In the moment of opportunity, Matthias focused all he had on the Knight, slashing, stabbing, and slicing where ever he could in a furious assault.

Matthias' attacks prove to be too much for the Knight. Its battered and knocked around, armor pieces flying everywhere. It tries to swing but Matthias parries and follows up with an intended killing blow.

Matthias battered the knight until it simply fell apart, leaking into the abyss. He panted for a second while the lich rose to its feet.
"You think you can do as you please in my kingdom?" he growled, standing in defensive form as the lich lunged at him.

The lich lunged and was delicately dodged by Matthias who used the lich's momentum to send the lich to the ground. He held his dagger to protect against the imminent ghoul attack.

The ghoul had finally taken all it could take, bursting in two at the hard kick. The lich lifted itself slowly, being rather spent from all of his magic and strain. It stood to see Matthias, perfectly still with a glare of intent. A moment of stillness... then Matthias slashed the Lich into the dumpster.
(Matthias is attacking Lich. He is still in defensive stance. Clash of steel is in effect.)
