Nari reached for Elanas hand, and though her back hurt she managed to sit up with effort. She coughed again.

"Damn it hurts." she said. "I think you might have hit a nerv or something...."

Though it hurt and she was feeling dizzier by the moment she prepared herself for casting a healing spell. The anicent words escaped her though, and she slumped down on the ground. She tried to concentrate and gave it another try.

don't make a move, I'll heal you....*without touching Nari, her wound started to glow of Elana's energy and slowly the wounds healed as if reversing the prosess that made it* ...there can you stand up now?

Nari tried to move, and felt that the pain was gone. When she toughed her back, she felt the tear in her clothes, but her skin was as smooth as if the wound had never been there.
"Thank you," she said. "Your healing spell works much faster than mine."

Nari felt a tear in her eye and blinked it away with a shake of her head. it wasn't surprising. Nari wasn't sure what Elana was, but she was no human. And she had already proven that she possessed far more magic than Nari could ever dream about having.

((I suspected as much))

Nari sighed deeply and got to her feet. She looked down on the ground with slumped shoulders, and then she looked over the shoulder to Elana, a small smile on her lips.

"Sorry I wasn't a very good sparring partner. I guess you have to find someone in your own level of power."

She started to leave, walking slowly.

*Chibbit's ears twitched at the soft words of incantation. Her amber eyes widened slightly, before she soon saw shards of ice flying towards her. So many, it would be impossible to stop them all, but so much as she stopped most of them, she could get out of this attack with just a few minor scratches.

Spinning her staff to the front, she winced lightly, knowing the sharp sensation that slices her skin, like a blade cutting air.
Her staff, now in front of her, began to shed a soft pastel green light, that soon grew to a bright neon green light. Chibbit, moving back within the air, began to spin the staff in full circles, creating a barrier for at least her front.
The shards, coming at high speeds, clashing against her staff, some flying back and some shooting straight past her, while the rest, skimmed her skin.
Allowing the 'green' blood to trickle down her pale skin.

Once the shards have finished shooting towards her, she spun her staff back to her side and panted, with slight relief that none of the blasted ice shards had pierced her in any serious areas.*

Chibbit - "Neh, Jess-chan, that was kinda' intense."

*She let out a slight chuckle, before folding her wings to her side and allowing her to fall from the air only to land upon all fours and scurry along the dark floors. Her wings light dimming, until they were hardly visible to her opponent.

Her staff pointed towards the ground as she merely spoke a few words. Soon followed by beams of light that shot up towards her twin sister. Soon to wrap around her and give away her position if she did not move fast enough to evade her attack.*

It had been several weeks, months perhaps, since Nari last visited the Sparring Grounds. After failing so hard against Elana, Nari hadn't set foot in the Arena for a long time, but now here she was, looking over the huge construction, still not completly finished. Nari wondered if it was ever going to be finished.

Further away, she could hear a fight going on, but she didn't bother. She entered the Forrest arena and looked around. The trees and ground had repaired itself. Not a sign of previous battles could be seen.

*somewhere near by Elana continues her mental training, compleatly silent on the outside while in her mind she was battling herself, the one opponent known to defeat her so far. as the battle ends she reflects apon that when senceing nari* they say the best opponent for someone in training is themself, every step detumened by weather or not you can out match your own skill... how much creadit would you give that peace of advice?

Nari turned as she heard the voice behind her. She hadn't noticed Elana at all. Very careless of her.

"I'd say that's a good advice." Nari replied. "It probably works fine for you, but it would be pretty stupid for me to shoot fireballs at myself, don't you think?"

Nari smiled, glad to see a friendly face. Elana hadn't changed much, at least not on the outside. But somehow - and she didn't understand how - Elana had changed on the inside.... or was it just that Nari looked upon the world with new eyes after her time away from the Home?

She sighed softly and looked around.

"What are you doing here by yourself, Elana?" she asked.

the battle arena I have found is a good place to train even it does all happen in your head...and as for you, sence you don't seem to have my "gift" you could take the advice in the sence of using some spell to make a copy of you to train with, both have the same effect 3nodding

Naris eyes widened with surprise.

"M-make a copy of me?! Elana, I'm far from that skilled! I'm practically nothing more than a novice when it comes to magic."

She shook her head and her shoulders slumped a bit.

"Elana, you and I have sparred before, you know I'm not very skilled at all, neither in magic or fighting."

Nari walked over to a tree as she spoke and touched its bark. She knew she had burned that tree before, but it showed no sign of it now. She sighed a little and slumped down on the ground, leaning against the tree.

"No," she said with a small smile. "I'm no adveturer. I love to read about them, and hear the stories, but when it comes to go out on one myself..... well, I'd love to, but I'm just not cut out for it. I'm too much of a scaredy-cat, and as I said, I'm not good at fighting or magic."

She turned her head and smiled at Elana.

"Your method?" Nari frowned slightly. "You mean.... battle in my head? I'm not exacly sure what you mean. Could you explain?"

She sat up and pulled her knees up to her chin while she looked at Elana, waiting for the reply.
