Bastet nuzzled Eclipse, "I know there are boundaries, I am merely teasing. I wont call you hawk dog you if you promise not to call me mommy Bastet."
She shrugged to Khenu, leaned close to him, and whispered, "There was a firey demon here once and he left scorch marks. Let your mark blend with his for now. If she specifically asks you about them, then you have to confess though. And in the event that they start cleaning these marks up you have to help. Deal?"

"Well, Bradwen. At least you didn't burn yourself to smitherines! Good job on the meat! Just remember, you have to have control from beginning to end. Once you see it, you still have to control it. But still....you're making great progress!"
Dagan gave the woman a confused look. "My mom lives quite a ways away from here...she banished Dad. If you're...suggesting being a mother figure, sure!" Dagan jumped up a bit as he responded, grinning.

Khenu smiled brightly as he pulled his hand from her wrist. "Deal!" That said he dropped to his knees next to Eclipse, scratching at his wings. He had remembered that Bastet said that was the best place. "Hey Eclipse, you been a good hawk dog?"

'That I can do Kitty.' He turned his head to look at Khenu who was scratching at his feathers. 'This boy and hawk dog thing. Not a dog, not a hawk. But he's just so cute I can't bite him.'

Pheaura grinned, "Yes, I was thinking of adopting you, but only if yuo wanted." She gathered Dagan in her arms, "let's find your father, looks as if mommy Bastet has her hands full now." She lifted the child and began to carry him in her arms so he could hear her as she talked to him, "if you're good I'll teach you how to control your powers. I'll even teach you stealth that way you can poke into minds to get information, but that can only be used in the most dire situations, got it?"

Bradwen reached the shore and shook off a bit before grabbing the steaming hunk of meat. He took a large bite and happily chewed it up until he swallowed.
"That's why I always practice by the lake!" he said, laughing. "And if I get too much powerful without gaining enough control I'm gonna have to switch over to my swordplay for a while."

Dagan was seeing that he needed to help 'Mom' out with a few habits he had. "Hey, um....I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm a bit past that stage, Ph...Mom. I'll try not to act up though."
"Smart guy! Well, I must commemorate your progress. Keep it up Bradwen!" Ryo gave Bradwen a thumbs up and a grin.

Pheaura put Dagan down, "I know, but I wanted to tell you that last part so no one could hear. I would have used telepathy, but," she shifts her head in Eclipse's direction, "somtimes he picks up things that way. Do you know anything about telekensis?"

Bastet's ears twitched towards Pheaura, "You will hopefully teach him to respect privacy, if you can do it yourself."
Then she heard what Eclipse had to say and laughed long. "That is right, he is too cute to bite, and I knew you would see it my way." She looked at Khenu, "He has been good, scratch him a little harder and you might be able to call him that agian without him even hearing you."

Bradwen swallows another few bites and say to Ryo "Haha, you look alot happier today! Did you see that I got another boar all sliced up and put in the meat freezer? I bet that's what lifted your spirits! I know it did mine!"
He grinned obnoxiously and opened his mouth extra-wide, sinking his mouth down again into the meat.

"Telekinesis? You mean like moving items with your mental powers? No...I don't."
"Hm, the boar? Oooh...yes, I feel better today. You got us more boar meat? Awesome! You do good with hunting, that's for sure!" Ryo walked over to Phea and wrapped his arms around her, giving her a peck on the cheek. "So have you two made your warm welcomes?"

'You're a bad bad Kitty, telling him that...' Eclipse did enjoy the attention though, Seeingf as Aurahkah was...occuppied with other things. He rolled over onto his back allowing Khenu to scratch at his stomach.

Pheaura concentrated on knocking Ryo to the ground, "then poking around in people's minds, but he'll be allowed to abuse only you, love." Pheaura looked at Bradwin, "Bradwin! I haven't seen you in a while. How are you doing?"

Khenu scratched at the wolf's stomach. "I'm sure he knows I'm just playing with him." Yawning he stood and waved to Bastet. I should get some sleep, I've been up working late on those things. Night." With a wave he walked over to his room.
