Narieriden Nari jumped over Elanas leg just in time and as she took ground she sprinted to try to cut Elana again. She frowned as she heard Elanas reply.
Is she reading my mind? she thought. That's friggin' impossible! they assured me it couldn't be done! OOC: oops sorry about that, I thought you said it out loud.....yes she does have the ability but she never uses it in combat (with the exeption of two way communication) *Elana again dodges it simi puting on an act then atempts to get behind Nari thowing a series of 3 kicks in the prosses*

((Ok, but just so you know, you can't enter Naris mind. Not without her permission.
Let me clear this out: the text in italics is what she does. The text in darkblue and italics is what she thinks, and the text not in italics and with qoutation marks is what she says. Just thought I'd clear that out out to aviod further confusion.))
Nari dodged the two first kicks, but the third she didn't have time to aviod, and was kicked to the ground by the force. She picked her self up quickly and made herself ready. Her knee hurt a little from the impact.

IC: *as her opponent hits the ground Elana pulls out the bosmer claw that she's in the past been well known for ready to swipe in deffence of the next attack*

((It shouldn't be too hard to remember, I hope. And tell me, what is a bosmer claw? Is it something like Wolverines claws?))
Naris eyes widened ans she saw the claw. She had never seen anything like it in a real right, and as she looked at it she thought to herself that that thing could deal some serious damage. She decided to be more careful.
She crouched down and from where she stood she made a jump into the air, summersalted(sp?) and landed behind Elana. Trying to keep the element of surprise, she struck fast, attempting to hit Elana in the back with her daggers. With the hilt, of course, since she didn't want to wound her too bad. This was just a sparring match, after all.

She did not want to be within reach of those claws.*stumbling backwards from the hit Elana appeared (<- this is the key word to my not turning this post into a godmod stuation) to be unaffected by the blow next she using a slight inhancement from her awakening energy Elana charged at Nari with slightly more speed than normal* OOC: just incase the claw makes contact, it has an enchantment that absorbs a fraction of health from the opponent

Nari stumbled backwards as Elana charged. Her knee still hurt, and all she could do was to either dodge or block. With the speed Elana approached, it was too late to dodge, so Nari threw up her daggers to cross blades with the claws once again.
Damn, she is fast! Nari thought.

Nari saw the fist comming, but she didn't have time to dodge it as Elana moved so fast. She took the hit straight in her face. She gasped at the pain that shot up. As an answer she let go of one of her daggers, as it was locked firmly in place between her second dagger and Elanas claws, and threw a punch herself.

*as she saw the punch coming at her she withdraws the claw causing the dagger to graze her arm in addition to reciving a direct blow from the punch* damn.... *as she recovers she uses another short burst of speed to try to even the hits and hopefuly use the claws encantment to recover her arm*

Nari tried to avoid the claw, but just a split second earlied as Elana drew away nari tried to catch the dagger she had left. It fell to the ground and as nari attempted to pick it up, she felt the claws scratching her arm. She held back a scream and cast herself aside, not pickong up the fallen dagger. She covered her arm with her free hand and felt warm blood between her fingers.
"Dmn it...." she muttered.
((Ok, I'm not sure when I'll be online tomorrow, though.))

*at the momnent the claws dug in Elana's earlyer wound imediately healed to a point where a temporary scar could still be seen as a result of only a partial recovery*

Nari saw Elanas wound closing up as the claws cut her own arm. Her eyes widened with surprise.
What the....? she thought. By wounding me, she healed herself? What kind of strange magic is that? That does it, I have to stay clear of those claws!
Nari measured the distane between herself and Elana, and then made a desicion. She dashed forward, cast herself on the grund and rolled out of Elanas reach and at the same time picking up her dagger. Grabbing it firmly in her hand she drew blood from under her foot, and a cloud of air formed under her, lifting her up out of harms way.
