Bastet sighed, feeling a little guilty herself because now the boy felt guilty. "You still have that one piece of metal right? I know it is not nearly as much, but could you work some kind of a shield out of fit? I can give the metal back so that you ahve more so work with, I just do not want you or anyone else hurt you little lightning rod." She looked after the retreating girl, who was like her. She decided to check on Flare later to see that she was ok.

"You...a screwup? No, look at me, Phea! I just suddenly disappear for at least a week and come back to find out all sorts of things have happend around here. I wasn't here when you needed me with your wings. You are nothing compared to what I've done. Don't put yourself down." Ryo's energy was turning negative again, and his energy wings slipped out of his back with a dark hue, levitating himself off the ground a few feet. His figure turned away, not wanting to show his disgraceful face to the one he figured would turn him down now. "You...had a lot on your plate at the time....I shouldn't judge you for that. So....if your appolgy cant be ignored, I will...accept it."

Bradwen hurried through the Grand Hall and into the kitchen, not taking time to see if anyone else was around. He didn't fasten the meat right just outside and it was starting to slip and tip him off balance all over the place. He made it to the kitchen, where the first piece managed to slide free. Fortunately he spun around and caught it, hurrying on to the meat freezer. Three steps inside the rest slid out and pulled him down with them.

"Whew! Just made it!" he said, laughing as he began to hang the strip of meat up.

Eclipse lifted his head for his paws, yawning. How long had he been asleep. He lifted his nose to the air, sniffing out people's location. A few were in the great hall, Phea and Ryo were in the wings, Aura's scent was faint so she must of been in her room, and everyone's else was masked as well to a dull state. He stood and stretched his wings, making his way inside and down the stairs to the great hall. Did it surprise him that he saw Bastet with Khenu and Dagan, not really. In fact he laughed, he had heard all the 'mommy Bastet' comments that had fluttered between the girls. He came to stand next to the cat woman. 'Evening Bastet, babysitting?'

Phea might have been shocked by Ryo's next move, but his eyes shut also and she could feel the presence of his lips pressing against hers in a kiss. He felt horrible for missing out on everything. This would never be enough to cover for the absence.

Dagan walked over to Eclipse and patted him on the head. "Hey there, ol' chum. How's it goin?" Dagan turned his attention to Bastet. "So, what's this 'project' I heard ya babbling about before you left? You've got me curious!"

Eclipse headbutted Dagan's arm. 'I'm learning...interesting things about Aurahkah, seemingly babysitting and not getting the attention I crave, I'm edgy.' He said the statement so that both Bastet and Dagan could hear him and wagged his tail behind himself abscentmindedly.

Khenu finished picking up the remains oft he glass and then took the bits that Bastet had. "Thank you." Running it to the kitchen to drop it into the trashcan he had to do a double take, seeing someone he had never seen before. "Um hello?"

Eclipse barked, whipping his head to Dagan's direction. 'What did you call her?! Does that vampire call her that?! Gah! I'm now learning things that I dont' need to know personally! Too much information!'He whimpered and flared his wings.
