Ok, this was just too funny IMHO, most of you know one of my vices is chat rooms, i know how awful they are, but the are fun, i thnk so at least... well anyway...

Well, you could pick up mIRC. It's free for about a month and then if you are just lazy and don't want to fork out any money there are keygens for it all over the place.

IRC is also a decent place for obtaining files such as-
Anime,
Videogame Romz,
uym, probably music... or something,
...
ok, I only use it for anime and roms but there's other stuff too. As long as you can find the right place there will be a near endless library of stuff you can get from the users there.
It's alot harder to find stuff there than on any of the popular filesharing programs but if you're just looking for one general type of thing and find the right room for it you're set.

filesharing, what about RIAA and all that, i thoguht they were like, fining college kids thousands of dollars nowadays

While anyone can easily acess your IP address and some information about it the boundaries of IRC are vast indeed.
There are too many servers to count and each one has more channels than any non-omniscient orginization could dream of monitorring semi-actively.
And also: The RIAA was fining people who they were personally able to download the files from. They would have to personally access your computer to determine what you have downloaded and even the things like the patroit act haven't given the government that much free acess... yet.

Well...
I think I may be addicted to Kool-Aid. I made a gallon of Kool-Aid, literally like... 30 minutes ago, and now there's not a gallon of Kool-Aid. And um...
... Yeah. I think I may have a problem.
