Skye, playing your NPCs as in, you're going to include them in at least one post. Like, you'll use them. Like, they're there for a reason and that reason is to help you out when you're stuck or when you need them included in a plot. Does that make sense?

Okay, well, I told you guys that I was going to go on vacation this Friday (tomorrow) ... but we were going to go on vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama. And Huricane Gustav is headed to the Gulf coast (though they don't exactly know where it's headed... exactly), so whether I stay home for the storm or go on vacation, I'll be in pretty much the path of the Hurricane. Therefore, I will probably evacuate to Memphis... and let's hope our hotel has wireless and that my mother brings her laptop. D: And then... let's hope this doesn't turn out to be like Katrina.
Because after Katrina we couldn't move back into our house because when my dad was actually able to get back to our house for the first time, we had a foot of water damage in our house and five feet in our garage (how is this possible, you ask? our house is raised 4 feet off of the ground). So our house had to be gutted (that's LA slang for "thuroughly cleaned out to the point that it looks like it's still under construction"). And we lived in Memphis/Germantown for 3 months and I went to school there and yeah. And we just finished repairs... well, I can't really say that, because there's little bits and pieces still not done, but I'll be positive and say it's done. And Katrina was 3 years ago.
lolol, irony. Katrina hit exactly 3 years ago tomorrow.
Well, actually as of now I'm still going on vacation. Wish me (and the whole Gulf Coast) luck!
Well, you can ask Gustav to go to Texas or over Cuba to Florida. Because Texas gets lots fewer Hurricanes and if Gustav goes over Cuba, it'll weaken and stay as a Tropical storm (weaker than a Hurricane, but essentially the same thing).
If you have no idea what I was talking about in that huge ramble... umm. Sorry.
But I'm hoping I should be back Wednesday. If I'm not, I'll try my hardest to let you guys know where I am and what's going on. Yay you, you get a first hand account of Hurricanes and what it's really like down here when a natural disaster hits... Unlike the news because all they want to talk about is New Orleans and FEMA (you guys know what FEMA is, right? Federal Emergency blahblahblah... It's the governments very inadequate way of handling natural disasters and emergencies). And as much as I love New Orleans, it's not the only place in LA that was affected and if you ever ask someone who lived through Katrina or other big hurricanes, everyone is very bitter about broadcasting stations, the are no help.
On the up-side, I'll have plenty of time to write up a billion and one different things, like awesome posts, my persona revamps, Ramsey's persona, Rainbow's profile, and tons of other stories (like now I'm working on Glenn meeting the love of his life and it's not Samantha, bahahahahaa).

And now to reply to everything else that's going on.
Isa: It's good to hear from you. And I will say a million and one times that "life's more important than the guild," but I always get a bit down when someone says they'll be busy with school. Because, and I'm not saying you guys don't do this, I really make it one of my top priorities to check the guild everyday, even if I don't post or anything. So when things are slow, I always feel bad when things are going slow and it's partly my fault and... I'm rambling.
It's great that you're checking in, get some sleep, but don't hurt yourself with posting. : D
Ash: okay, I was like, "You guys don't expect me to actually play them do you? Crazies!" But if you guys ever want to use them, go ahead. I'll have them all come in eventually (like I have this big plot for JuliaxGabexIvy when JuliaxRaphxOliviaxRamsey goes downhill) and I'm working on relationships between them now...
But that's all for later.
Windy: I got your message, and updated the Quidditch thread, I just am too lazy to PM everyone back. eh.

Lily, from forever ago: I'm saying this now because when you posted that message about your OC models, I was feeling very bitchy and I was just like "well then why didn't you say that, I'm not Korean! I don't speak Korean, I wouldn't know that!" And that wouldn't be very nice of me, taking out my anger on silly little things. I will fix that issue when I ... get to it. It's not a makor concern of mine, and fyi, I'm ont top of models otherwise, so you won't need to update it, really. I've been doing it all along and not telling you guys C:<
EVERYONE:
It would be a really big help to me if you talked amongst yourselves and tried to help out little by little while I'm on my prolonged absence. And I'm talking little things, like keeping up the character&NPC count, finding avatars for characters who don't have one in the yearbook, updating the color thread. If you send me the updates in a PM, I'll be sure to credit you guys for your work. :3

Oh Skye hun, I hope that everything goes all right. I'll pray for you and your family tonight! (You're going on a vacation with them, right?) But wow, I didn't realize that you were right there in that area, like, I knew you lived in LA but just not there..I guess I just thought that because I didn't want you to be in a potential danger zone. I'm so sorry about what Hurricane Katrina made you go through. :[
Lol, ahaha, that would be pretty friggin crazy if you had to actually play all those NPCs. I'm glad you got what I was saying, because while I was typing it all out I was like, "I dunno any other way to explain this..." xD
Oh, and I'll try to help out with the small things while you're gone. So far, I don't think a lot of teachers are giving homework since we have our very first home football game tomorrow which I am NOT going to--even though I love watching football sooooooo much--I just don't have anyone to go with. :/ And my mom doesn't like watching it and neither does my sister, so I'd feel guilty dragging them along. But yea, anytime you need any help Skye, just pm me.
Like you, I check the guild everyday. Sometimes in the morning, just in case. I'll be pretty busy later on in the year, but I can handle it. Cause this place is aweshome. :]
Oh! And by the way--I like it when you guys rant. The rants are normally soo much fun to read. I like hearing about you guys. :]

Well, you know that big Lake in south eastern LA, right?
That's lake Ponchartrain (Pon-chuh-train, it's Native American or something) And I live on the Northshore, and New Orleans is 45 minutes away, South of the lake, and a little westward from us.
lol, we have the weirdest names of places here in LA.
Atchafalaya Bay,
Pontchaltoula,
Lake Catouatchie,
Tchefuncta River, {all official spellings}
I live near Bayou Bon Fouka... well, that's probably not the way you spell that, it's French or something.
And my dog is a Catahoula. : D
ah, culture.
And I live in this town called Slidell. :/ Fun name, right?

Skye: Ohhhh man. I hope your vacation goes nicely, Skye... and you don't get caught in the hurricane. That's awful. I had no idea you were a Hurricane Katrina victim. :C
Isa: OIHRGUINWRIGUHWSGUSRGUI I can't believe I wasn't on AIM when you were. Geez. It's like phone tag, only through IM. I miss you, Isa. :C And HOLY CROW. Don't over-work yourself. Take as long as you need on writing those replies, because eye-twitching is NOT good. Believe me. I know. Focus on life/school, which, like Skye said, is more important than the guild, even though the guild is significant.
I'm not as busy as you guys, but I am busy. School sucks. And I have a crush on a freshman.

lolol The names of some towns and lakes etc. in other states make me laugh. Like this one in Arkansas (I think). A road's name when we tried to read it literally said, "Kick-a-poo" or something.
Arizona doesn't really have cool names like that, though. Well, before Phoenix, we were named Pumpkinville. Which makes no sense at all considering nothing green and edible grows here.
I want to see this new character. C:< I'm anticipating it.

Hahah. x33 Zacch's so anti-social, I felt the need to play someone who's so social it's annoying in order to balance things out.
Yus. Corbi and Manda. *cackles* They just have to be friends. Cor won't do anything too Slytherin unless she thinks it'll get the reaction she wants to see. She certainly wouldn't do anything to jeopardize a friendship that she thinks is beneficial.
