Shade stumbles across the barren landscape, tired, bruised, and bloody, but alive and victorious. under one arm he carries the head of the beast he believes to have been the source of the poison that had infected Hope. Though he was torn about having to leave his companions behind, he was in no condition to look for them. At last, unable to go any further he collapses into a crude shelter between two massive rocks. Resting with his back against the boulders he closes his eyes and reaches through the shadows with his senses, trying to find Hope. "Hope? It's me, Shade. Are you there? Can you hear me?"

((o god i m so sorry i havent been able to post i had so much stuff from band to projects to homework but i'm back biggrin )) Fayt stopped chasing Zanath after seeing some other people. He tried to sense a dark force within them but could not which meant they weren't part of Twilight's army. should I walk up to them? or should I keep my distance?Fayt thought to himself looking at them. He noticed one had wings. I'd better be alert for my own safety Fayt looked around. No sign of Zanath anywhere. He looked back at the two figures thinking of what to do.

Osiris shrugged. "What is it about Gatha that makes it this way? I'm sure Twilight would reward you greatly for the information. Actually...you should come work for her. I'm sure you'd make an excellent general in no time."

Darks grin freezes into a grimmace of pure hatered. "I will not serve the one who took my throne from me. You can go back to her and tell her, by the end of this I will have her head mounted above the throne as a trophy. Nobody steals from me! Sooner or later she will make a fatal mistake, and when that time comes I and the others who still live shall reclaim all that she has taken from us."

Osiris stepped back. "Your....throne?" He glanced around, suddenly tense. "You mean you were like Twilight before? If she took it before, why aren't you dead?"

Ted grimaced at the hurt in Hope's voice, and he wanted nothing more than to crawl into a hole and die. But he couldn't, not after running away once. Even he had more morals than that. So, he walked over to Hope, and enveloped the girl in a hug. Then he started to cry, whispering into her ear. "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry I'm too weak." His babbling went on like that for a while.

"I may have been considered evil by some, but I was never like Twilight. I respected the balance. She doesn't even seem aware that it exists. She hunted me down as well as several of the others. Those whom she caught she killed. All there power stolen to feed her desire for more. Had this land not saved me, I have no doubt I would be dead as well. I barely have a fraction of the power I used to command, she has taken almost all of it."

"No, I'm saying that I was more powerful. Far more powerful than I am now. Comparatively, between now and then this form would be a joke; and not a very funny one at that. I have no intention of becoming more powerful. I intend to regain the power that was stolen from me in the first place."

Fayt saw the girl cry and the creature hug her. "man i'm really not sure what to do...." Fayt stood there watching the two trying to think of what to do.

Osiris sighed. "Hmm. You can be sure Twilight will be interested in this...meaning I should probably be getting on my way. It was a good fight." With that, we turned and began to walk towards the treeline.

Fayt saw another figure in the distance. He sensed the dark force in him. He ran in a random direction looking at the figure. He ran into a tree right next to the two people hugging.
