Khenu's little glass making project had turned out well. Turns out he was good at the craft after all. After his had gotten his results he had let it cool and taken it to his room. There he had spent the last few days working.
Coming from his room now he strides lazily down the hall, whistling some strange sounding tune, hands in his pockets. Around his neck he wore the claw Bastet had given him and in his hair he wore the two feathers.
Rounding the corner he smiled brightly, seeing Bastet and Dagan was it? "Hiya guys!" He walked over, standing a few feet from them and inspected what was happening.

Bastet looked up at the boys, "Hello Dagan, Hey Khenu." Then she furrowed her brow as Dagan's words sunk in. She moved to sit on the ground and examine each of the objects. "She said they might be mine?" She examined them closer until she too saw the symbol emblazoned on the items. It stood for the Godess Bastet. She searched her large memory for a likeness of the items.

"Hello Sir Khenu. How's things...I know I've disappeared for a while, so I bet I have to catch up with things." Dagan watched Bastet look at the items, wondering whether or not she was to accept the ancient treasures the reanimated dead had wielded.

Khenu blinked at Dagan and laughed. Just by looking he could tell Dagan was older than him yet he was still formal with someone who was younger than him. "I'm alright. I've been learning to control my powers."
He was watching Bastet too, still not really sure what was going on exactly. "What's with the stuff?"

"Recently me and my father were exploring some sandy tombs in the deserts when we encountered some reanimated dead guards. They seemed to be of royal or holy descent, due to the holy relics and attire they were using when we fought them. Whatever it was, they didn't want us around. These were some articles I found on their dead leader after defeating him. They may be Bastet's, speaking that the symbol is for the goddess Bastet."

"You went out and fought dead things?" Khenu closed one eye as he was looking at Dagan, attempting to grasp that exactly. When he did he gave a lopsided grin and laughed. "Gotcha!"

Bastet examined them once more then set them down. She mumbled something then looked up to Dagan and chewed on her bottom lip as she thought a moment, "I must let the truth be told, I do not remember weilding such fine items ever before. You earned these by your own right, do you not wish to keep them?"

"Well, I remember our introductions were rather rough, both with you and my father and with me as well. I was proposing you should keep them...perhaps as a keepsake for remembering your homeland or something. I dont have much use of it, I have my own weaponry." Dagan grins a bit, hoping this peace offering would make up for the rough beginnings.

Bastet looked up at Dagan and smiled, "That is a nice thought Dagan. Thank you, I can certainly make use of them, and they will always remind me of you two and what was overcome here, shall our ways ever part." She thought for a moment then grinned uncharacteristically, "In fact, I already have a good idea that you helped me spark. I shall go start a project right now." With that she went off to her room with the items in hand.

Dagan raised his eyebrow this time, wondering what Bastet was doing about this "project". "Wonder what she's off to do...No matter, I'm sure I'll see it sure enough. Anywho, Khenu. What's happening?"

Khenu watched Bastet leave and looked to the older boy that was standing near him. He smiled lopsidedly at him. "So you go out on things like this all the time? Sounds like fun."
He then laughed again. "And why did you call me that? You're older than me, not the other way around."

"Yeah, it's how we get our jollies. Risking our lives, exploring the world, grabbing goodies. The whole nine yards ya know. It's quite entertaining to learn about everything." Dagan looks to Khenu with a smile. "Next time you could join us, if you wanted!"

He smiled up at Dagan at the offer. "Only if you're sure I won't be slowing you down. Short legs you know. Oh her since you seem to now some interesting stuff check this out."
Khenu reached to his belt and detached a glass orb that fit nicely in the palm of his and. Inside the orb, blue colored electricity bounced off the inside wall. "I made it. I was just wondering on how it came out. I guess it's like an electricity bomb thing."
Looking to the side he smiled at the girl that had appraoched. "Hello Flare, I'm Khenu!"

"Na, you'll do just fine! Maybe you should train some though before you go out."Dagan then looks at the orb."Ooooh. My dad does things like that too! Only, not with closed glass orbs, just with vials and the like. That's pretty neat!
Oh, hey Flare! What's up?"
