Battle System video was lame, the rest was fun. Profile is meh.

prussiah I sent the last one Ystwyth...just because I found this predicament utterly halarious ^.^ sue me for being guilty on that one. Though the rest were not me considering I couldn't even see my computer without a flashlight until Saturday.

I don't think that video represents the true Battle System. Not that there's probably one anyways... rolleyes

No, the video is likely not the true battle system. I can't imagine there will be a part where you can throw the monster in the sky and do a flip with a buster sword to take him out. But that was fun.
The things from that video that, at this point, make sense for the system are the simple animations, such as when RockPuppy was hitting Lanzer, the numbers, and the reaction to being hit(vibrating, and throwing up help me emotes) Perhaps some of L0cke's arm movements.
There were certianally things missing( like a status bar) and things unlikely. But it was nice to get a general concept of how it might work.
I'm looking forward to these profiles. Pretty much because it's something new and something soon. I hope my regular, slower computer can handle it.

True, the video didn't show the whole picture. (MWAHAHAHA!) But, the real effects shown are probably real. Something tells me that walking around towns isn't going to be jolly and peaceful. You'll get attacked randomly by all sorts of things so to collect bugs, flowers, and paper is going to be a matter of life and death. xD
Imagine coming out of your home and getting attacked by a "Cluster" of Rock Puppies. O.o
One of the things that really amazed me was the new profile, it just shows a very new dimension to creating profiles that no other site has. Which in my opinion is a great technological feat but I'd like to try them just to make sure that it's what they are advertising it to be. biggrin
The Word Game is probably one in so many flash based games that are probably coming out this year but it sure looks nifty and addicting.

Oh and Ys....I think I got a gift from you. What was in it? When I opened it, I got an error about not being able to put it in my inventory and now it is MIA so to speak.

The word game reminded me of that yahoo text twister. Grayed and I played that game when we were bored and drinking Pepsi (because it was the only available drink at the time). I'm really looking forward to playing that game. rofl ;
