Alsynn gave a nod of aproval and stepped out fo the car looking over the place, "Nice place."

The little trio ended up in a small diner in town, it was nice a cozy and just what they needed to get a bit of relaxing. looking over the menus they placed their orders and the waiter left to bring them their drinks.

"The clan will be meeting end of next week, you'll be introduced then." Sage's mother said as she sipped at her warm tea. Alex nodded a soft smile on her face, she was glad that she would be given some time before this would happen. The day had felt so much longer then any other day, and she still had yet to hear about her brother, maybe thats why it felt so long.

((Ok I'm gonna guess that its either Sun or Sat....as the whole party and Ash thingie happened on Friday night....Let me know which day you guys want it to be of the two. And Sage's mom is gonna be Aine now ^_^))

"I think I'll take monday off, so I can get some things from the house." Alex spoke over her cup. Aine nodded her head, "That would be fine, the documentation states that the house belongs to you now. And seeing as how your parents kept everything well in order there are no debts to worry about." Alex nodded in understanding, "But I'm not sure I could be able to stay their alone for a while." Sage gave her hand a reasuring squeeze as Aine smiled in understanding, "Of course dear, we wouldn't expect you to go back there by yourself."

With that their food was brought out to them and conversation turned to lighter things.

It's comfortably cozy and the food is excellent. And I'd take their coffee over Starbuck's any day.

"I'm not much for coffee, though I like capuccinos." Aslynn enjoyed the warm smells from the cafe as she took her seat vaguely she looked over the menu.

Aslynn's brow quirked slightly, "Well the easiest place to start is for you to tell me what you know about what happened to the Renford place and we can go from there."

Aslynn lean forward resting her elbows on the table as she rested her chin on her interlaced fingers. "I wouldn't jump that so soon. Shortly after the fire on the manson Alex's family was attacked. The way its looking is that the Night World figured Alex to be the cause for Ash's death. Yet that doesn't seem to be the whole story as both Sage and Alex don't seem to be saying much about the fire." Alsynn allowed a pause as the waiter came by to get their orders.

Aslynn ordered the chicken strips and gave the waiter a soft smile before turning back to Genju. "There is no inteligance thus far that states what the NW believes happened the the Renford mansion, what is known is that Alex's family was targeted as a result of Ash not being able to get Alex in the manner in which he wished." Aslynn took a drink from her cup before continuing. "The results is both parents are dead and the brother is missing, There is evidance of a shifter and two vampires as being part of the attack, they had been put to sleep so no struggles or noises. Currently there are two working theories for why Alex's family was targeted, well three atleast. One is that its some backup plan Ash had incase Alex refused to stay with him. Another is that somehow the counsel in the NW believed Ash's interests where not healthy and wanted to terminate her as well as her family. And the final thought would be that this is someone elses doing in the NW as a means of revenge on Alex for whatever reason, whether or not it has something to do with Ash or not."

Aslynn allowed a pause before adding, "Then of course there is the rumor of Dragons."
