Cymarron sat tyler down, and listened to the other child. as much as he tried to hide it, it bothered him. the one undeniable fact that they were human, he was not. the conversation between the children did not sit well.
"please can we change the subject?"
His ears dropped lightly, and his tail flopped on the floor. He tried not to let it get to him.
Even the children find them more fitting than you and her. Face it. your affection means nothing. it's the simple fact he is human, and you are a Vah.

Bastet looked into his eyes and felt that feeling, that disarming feeling that for some reason she never fought. The smile traced across her face to her eyes and the barrier went down. She moved closer to him, step by careful step, putting a hand up to his face and smiling. She whispered, "Oh, but Nelphean..." Then kissed him.

Nelphean kissed Bastet back, but then suddenly stopped. "That was wierd... I just suddenly felt..." Nelphean turned his head towards the fireplace, "What?" He blinked a few times confuseed, and turned his head back to Bastet. "A breeze I think, or a great deal of pain." He shruged. ANd then sat down, feeling his knees grow weak. He laughed softly, and looked up at Bastet.
"Suddenly I feel like..." His eyes started to close slowly, then he went black.

Niah closed her eyes briefly and swallowed. She had listened to what he had to say but she just wasn't sure. She didn't want them too but his words came back once again.
"The way you look a man would say anything to get you in bed....say anything..."
It kept echoing and she pulled away slightly but stayed in his hold. She gazed out at the forest unsure of what to say. She was still a bit surprised and she was a bit frightened of what her empathiness was telling her. Elias had told her he had feelings for her but so had Cymarron. She jsut didn't know what to do. "I guess...a chance couldn't hurt. I don't want anyone to get hurt Elias...it's happened far too much." She was thinking of Cymarron.
Tyler looked at Cymarron and hugged him as much as his small size would allow. "What's wrong Mr. Cynammon?" He heard Relda and said "I don't know if Mommy likes Mr. Lyus or not. I wonder what will happen."

she sighs deeply, a pang hit her hands hard almost causing her to fall to her knees. "s**t!" the hellwolf growled at her as he bore his fangs

"Then there is nothing I can do. And I am not pure to the core. Ask Aura about that one. I really wish i could be of more help. I am afraid I have no ideas. And since I am one with the light, I cannot help the darkness. I am sorry but I must leave now. I have some business to attend to." She turned and left the kitchen and headed back to her room. She needed to get used to the chaos of this place. Which meant she needed down time as well.

Cymarron remained silent, not even returning his hug for a moment, before his tail moved around tyler.
"We love nailah very much, tyler. to think of her and elias is painful. it hurts us. but we made a promise. and we will keep it. but we don't like to talk about it. talking about it makes it hurt."

she sighed, and smiled again, apparently nothing could keep her down very long.
"Larie might know something that can help you with that too, shes a smart girl. takes after her mother. and me." she said chuckling, a hand on karus shoulder.

Elias sighed, he could feel her fears her anxities but he was happy that she had said yes, he held her tighter, running his fingers through her gorgeous hair. "A chance my dear Naliah is all I ask, but I cannot make empty promises, I don't what I can say that will make you feel better, what I could say that would stop Sir Cymarron or myself from being hurt, and Lady Naliah is not true love painful, when you love someone so deeply that it hurts, everything hurts, but you can't live with that pain, grave it like water and bread?" he said whispeting soflty into her ear. "Am I supposed to assume that you don't want this to be known by the manor?" Elias asked. "Look I want you to be happy even if isn't in my arms, but this one will live with no regrets, I will at least know that you and I were not meant to be, but remember this dear Naliah, come hell or highwater this one will be always by your side." Elias said, as he stroked the thin gold necklace that he had given her, "I am always by your side, remember that." Elia said as he getnly kissed the small of her neck. "Now about that drink?" Elias laughed as always the charmer

When he stopped she threw a questioning look to him. "A breeze, or a lot of pain?" The confusion on her face was evident as she watched him further, and after he sat down she sunk down with him. "What?" Then he was simply unconscious. She moved to catch him in her arms, "Nelphean?" Worry brought new fears to her head as she held her elf. He had not seemed sure of what happened either. Scared for him, she shook him once lightly, then gently levitated both of them, shakily to her room, trying to heal him as if that would help. She set him down gently on the bed and relaxed beside it, one hand on her forehead and one on his arm. Oh magic, headache...

the hellwolf continued to growl not convinced that Karu was in total control.
"Crehky... tuh'd mad ouin kiynt tufh. Gyni ec hud ymm rana."
a sadistic smirk crosses Karu's face as she grabbed the hand Shin had placed on her shoulder. a painful burning sensation shot through Shin's hand, the origin comming from the gateway in Karu's palm. a blood red washed over her eyes as she slowly looked up to meet Shin's eyes.

"Don't think like that, Pheaura. You've always went above and beyond the call of duty for us, but you can't help everything. You may be an angel, but deep down, you will always be human and all humans have limits. Sometimes you just have to let things run their course and hope they would turn out for the best." He pulled open the fridge and pulled out a dish of leftover bacon. Munalisk immedietally dove for it. "As much as I'm enjoying our conversation, I'm afraid I must go." He said, keeping the plate out of Munalisk's reach, "I'm glad that you've returned to us, Pheaura. I hope you stay for good this time." He gave her a small bow and left the kitchen.

Niah nodded. He had said he couldn't make empty promises which was a good thing. She couldn't bear to hear flowery words and then have it all be a lie. It had upset her once and she didn't want it to happen again. She looked at him for a moment her eyes searching his face. "Hell or highwater? I'm never going to get rid of you." she laughed and shook her head her feelings all tumbled inside her. She'd take time to sort them out later. His touch had her pulse racing and she lifted a finger to her lips remembering his own on them. "Drink sounds good." she said slowly. "Very good."
Tyler touched his face and petted him softly. "Mommy wouldnt' like knowing she hurts you Mr. Cynammon.:"
