Dear Miss Summers,

Thank you for your continued interest in Monster Slayers United. It is my unfortunate duty, as Commander of the MSU to report to you at this time there are no vacancies in the Combat Proper.

As you probably know, from the last 47 times you requested to be made a part of the team, the number of slots available in such a prestigious, ancient organization as the MSU is somewhat limited, primarily to those who have at least 150 years of Monster Slaying experience under their belt.

While I realize that you are, in fact, the Slayer, it is also a fact that you have not been slaying monsters for very long. Perhaps more importantly, you are forced to consistently rely on the assistance of allies and dumb luck in order to defeat your enemies. Every member of the MSU has been tested against at least a minor sub-diety and beaten them, but you were pretty soundly trounced by Glory repeatedly.

Let me assure you Miss Summers, Glory is a pushover.

Furthermore, while it pains me to remind you of this again (For the 47th time), you have an unfortunate track record of destroying paramilitary organizations and inciting rebellion, treason and mutiny among the members thereof with your cute rump and devilishly trembling lips. Treason is something we cannot possibly accept in the MSU, as I would be forced to kill them. And when 3 out of 5 members of the Combat Proper are, for all intents and purposes immortal, you understand the complications - I'm sure.

Last, but not least, I would like to remind you that the last time we met in person, you tried to kill me. Repeatedly. While such an effort is ultimately futile, you did succeed in ruining a good pair of my boots. I'm not sure I'm ready to move towards reconcilliation. I really, really liked those boots.

If you'd like a position in the Support Crew, I believe we could work something out for you. But I'm not certain back massages are really your forté.
