(Sorry, sorry, I'm grounded for about a month...x_x; if it comes down to it, then I think I can trust Shade enough to roleplay my characters for me..he knows them better then anyone else here and I think he would respect my characters enough to roleplay them properly. So, in other words, if Shade is up to it he can play my characters for me while I'm away to help keep the rp going, I don't want to drag it down any more than I am now.)
Hope blinked, staring wide-eyed at the panting Ted. She nearly panicked, struggling to stand up: her wound was paining her greatly, and she knew that she didn't have much energy left. She prayed that Shade and the others were alright, that they would soon kill the thing that was causing her and everyone else such grief and misery. But most of all she prayed that they would all return to her alive. Hope moved to grab Ted's hand, turning to run out of the cave as fast as her aching body would allow while clutching the blue dragon in her free arm to her chest.
Xavier raised an eyebrow as Osiris extended a hand: how interesting, this fight had truly kept his attention, and he hadn't expected them to come to a draw. Well, he wasn't entirely sure what he had expected, but he had thought that perhaps one if not both would be injured much worse than they were now Oh well, at least it had been a good fight.

((Wow, Dragon. Sucks for you. While we do this, I will do a bit of unimportant tweaking to make the scene go along. Time for some magic.
Oh, and Bowman? If you want into the scene, I will create an area for you. Should be obvious where it is, otherwise you happen to be just a bit unobservant))
Ted felt himself being drug along, and he forced Hope to stop. When they were no longer moving, he transformed back into the wolf, and waited for Hope to hop on. After making sure Hope had a hold on him and the dragon, he took off into the woods, away from everyone else. Thankfully the other wolves were more interested in the deer, and the men were slow.
While he was weaving in and out of the trees, Ted noticed someone running after another person, but he didn't feel like stopping then, even if his chest was burning from the exertion he was doing to his body. Hey Virgil. Are you still there? Ted could sense the demon blink at the question, then start laughing.
Of course I am, Virgil replied. Where do you think your sorry butt would be without me here? Ted just growled, but he knew Virgil to be right. And he just couldn't go any further. He sprawled down on the ground, panting like the wolf he currently was.

((Well, this is an unlucky turn of events. I'm not particularly good at playing other peoples characters, but I can at least keep them out of trouble. Or, in Xaviers case help him get into it. I'll give it a shot then.))

Dark slowly returns to his usual form with an extreme amount of effort. He then bows slightly instead of taking Osiris hand. "You will excuse me from shaking your hand, I hope. I believe I have demonstrated earlier what can happen when claws get to close to your arm."

"Hmm?" Osiris cocked his head. "Oh, that. No problem." He turned himself so that his arm was visible to Dark. Only a few dark spots remained. "I heal somewhat faster than your average person. It was a gift from Twilight."

(Indeed..x.x Thank you Shade, sorry for sticking you in such a tight spot, this was very sudden and unexpected. I'll try to keep up, but if I don't reply in a while then go ahead and try to post for me if you like.)
Hope clutched as tightly as she could to the wolf Ted had turned into and onto the small dragon, squeezing her eyes shut from fear. After a while Ted had collapsed, panting heavily. Hope felt guilty for him having to carry her, and quickly got off of him, kneeling next to him. "O-oh Ted, I-I'm so sorry.." she murmured as she gently stroked at his fur a bit, desperately hoping that the men and wolves wouldn't continue after them.

After the hard running, and Hope rubbing his fur, Ted drifted off to sleep. Felling a bit like a cat, his body transformed, curling into a ball. He even started to purr again. Then it stopped suddenly, and he started to mewl.
His dreams had taken a turn for the worst. One moment he is in a flowery field with Hope, and the next she is being taken away by faceless men that all have smiles. Ted tried to save her, but he couldn't, not with him being a girl, and tied up on a table. And that there were men surrounding her as well.

Osiris started. "Oh! That's right, I forgot I was on a mission. Guess I got carried away." He shrugged. "Twilight just wanted me to check out what was out here...for some reason you two were invisible to her, and I decided to check it out."

Hope smiled weakly when Ted transformed into a cat, continuing to softly stroke his fur. She blinked when he mewled, suddenly worried. Hope hesitated for a moment; she knew he was having a nightmare, but she didn't want to wake him for he needed his rest..she swallowed at her decision and moved to gently shake the sleeping Ted. "T-ted.." Hope murmured in her soft, worried voice. "T-ted, w-wake up..."

Ted woke up, and wen he saw Hope, curled into a ball, shaking. The dream, no nightmare, was too much for him, and it hit a sore spot for him. He never wanted that to ever happen again, and the only way it wouldn't would be for Ted to become stronger. but he couldn't do it. Not even in his dreams could he protect Hope, and that made him realize that he just wasn't good enough for her.

Hope saw the look on Ted's face, which intensified her worry. "T-ted..? Are you alright...?" she asked quietly, hesitating before reaching over to gently run her fingers through his hair. "Y-you don't look well..." Hope murmured before frowning a bit, wondering if it was her fault.

Ted winced back from the touch, then dashed away from her. He figured the only way he could protect her was to leave her alone, no matter how sad it made him. The first girl he ever liked, and already her life was in danger, twice, from his actions. Maybe he would be better off as the hermit his sister thought he would end up as.
When he stopped moving, he just curled back up into a ball, shaking, and even crying. Not something you see very often from a cat.

Hope's hand was still stretched out, her eyes wide: he was gone, just like that. She was frozen for several moments before her hand started to tremble and her eyes began to water. Hope slowly pulled her hand back to her trembling figure, shutting her eyes as a few tears ran down. Now what was she to do..? She was in the middle of a dark forest, alone with nothing but the wild things that lived there and the small blue dragon she still clutched onto. Why had Ted ran away..? Did he hate her..? She remembered what Ted had promised her all too clearly: I will help you to retrieve your memories, or stay by your side and protect you if you need it. You have my word on that.
Hope's shaky hands moved to cover her face, trying unsuccessfully to keep the tears from flowing.

After he had a good cry, Ted wondered if what he did was really the right thing to do. After all, it was him who got her into this mess. And he knew he had to do something to help her. Dipstick! You promised to help her out, to stay by her side. Don't you remember that? Ted jumped up in the air. He did remember, now. He had totally forgotten about that promise. How could he have forgotten?
Quickly changing back to his winged form, he flew back to the outskirts of the area he collapsed earlier. When he spotted Hope, he noticed her crying. He also felt his heart break for her. Why is she crying? Did I do this to her? Why am I so stupid? He slowly inched forward, and when he spoke, it was barely audible. "Hope?"

Hope jumped when she heard a voice say her name, quickly looking around until she saw Ted: there were still fresh tears on her face. "O-oh T-ted, I'm so sorry.." she said before covering her face with one of her hands, hiding the agonized look on her face. "I-I never meant to make you m-mad.." she said in a weak voice that was hard to hear.
