crying Okay... that's it. I'm tired of it. We're all geeks, and most of us know something about computers.
I want someone to tell me why my machine refuses to run anything animated besides flash movies. Little gif files, stuff like the goddamn emoticons right here on Gaia and pretty much anything remotely similar to that won't play... they just sit there frozen on the first frame of whatever little animation it is and don't move. Emoticons, LJ icons, animations in people's sigs. None of it works for me and I want it fixed.
Anyone who successfully tells me how to fix this gets a present... I don't know what it is yet, but we'll talk about once we're done with the task at hand.
Thank you one and all and can I have some God pizza, too? sweatdrop

So... I think I just saw the last episode of Witch Hunter: Robin... I say it was the last episode because they just killed the whole cast except for the dude in the big coat, who the SWAT guys shot in both legs and dragged off, and Robin...
so um...
Why would you write a whole seires, make characters and relationships between these characters, and then just mow down the whole cast by nameless, faceless guys with P-90s?

I saw that too... I didn't see much of the rest of the series, unfortunately, but I still felt cheated... maybe it wasn't the last episode?

A comprehensive review of the last episode (#26): Robin breaks into the compound where they seal away witches with the help of Amon. They find out that the glowing green liquid is made from melted down witches in large glass tubes. Robin cries. Both of them get doubles crossed by the other brown haired girl who sides with the Director of the facility. They all find a video that tells the truth about witches becoming the new emerging race of humanity and how the director wanted to exterminate them all. The brown haired girl joins them instead of kills them. Robin 0wns the director somewhat dramatically as he tries to shoot at her and the bullets burst into flames and vanish in mid air. The facility collapses. There is some hugs shared, most of the cast turns out to be somewhat alive, and everyone lays back and the boss from HQ has a cup of coffee as the credits roll. Robin and Amon were thought to be trapped when the building fell and become missing. They are obviously still alive.

There are 26 episodes in the series. The one where they mow down every living thing is not the last episode. 3nodding
Mind you, the ending STILL leaves you feeling cheated, but whatever.

I love that sound. heart All you have to do is this. Go to the Tools option on the bar at the top of your browser. Go to Internet Options, click the Advanced tag. Scroll down to Multimedia. Check "Play animations on webpages." Problem solved. If that's not it, then my guesses start moving into hardware issues, but since you said it can play animations I'm assuming that's not it.
