She stood up rather quickly and kicked him hard in the knee, "Don't you DARE think that I don't know what's going threw that head of yours Dag! I'm not giving up! I just want to have my cake and eat it too! Which means I'd RATHER not get myself killed because I'm not tough enough to hack it. And I don't want you to bloody tell me what I can and can't do! If I'm gonna die I'm gonna go down swinging even if I get my a** handed to me at least I gave it a whirl!" Heh, there she went, the fire licked behind her eyes and made the jeweled hues glow. She was still the same Rin she'd always been but she was afraid that loving him in a way meant giving up a part of herself. It was different then when she and Scratch had been together. They more or less did their own things and collided head on sometime later. This was different it meant something else and she was older now to appreciate it. "I'm not a coward I a thief damn it! I've never NEEDED all this brute strength I always left it to you lads so I didn't have to deal with it. But I can take on some brawlers if need be, it's in my nature to fight back! I'm not some poor defenseless kitten that needs protection!" She kicked him again for good measure and in three seconds she had Svippy in her hand, aiming it his forehead. She was angry but she wouldn't really shoot him. She knew he could have her disarmed, but he wasn't aware how fast she really COULD move. "I can still take care of myself.."

She pressed the barrel harder against his chest, her eyes narrowing. "Rage? I've always been a angry woman, Dagoth. Hell hath no furry like a fire demon scorned." She growled and her finger twitched against the trigger before she moved into the gun, anger driving her to speak her mind. "You got stronger while I remained the same, I could say I'm jealous but you did things I'd never do. The only people to ever win my loyalty are the pirates of the Blackskull and that will never change." Her voice had a growl to it, a low almost sensual growl if there wasn't so much anger behind it all. "I've lost everything in my life that mattered, gained something new that mattered as much and walked away from it all because I had something to prove!" She shoved on the barrel again. "And in the end I ******** failed now what does that tell you? Aye, you'd never change me, because you've always loved me but what will happen when your duty to your clan has to take priority. I understand Clan obligations Dag, they come before anything else. Then what of me, do I move on again, another port? Another crew? Another thing that I couldn't care less for because what I really want I can't have?! I'm a selfish person Dag... always have been.."

She growled but the pressure of the rifle in his chest weakened before she clasped the barrel in both hands and rested her head on his shoulder. She was ready to swing to fight, to claw and punch and gnaw but those words had a diffusing effect on her only Dag could have actually mastered. No one else could have said something like that and her actually believe it without question.

"I--" she sighed and nuzzled against his shoulder, angry at herself. She needed him to, she always had. Her life had been taken for a ride when he'd walked and she'd been to stupid to open her mouth about it. "Dag I don't want to do this life alone, it's to boring not to mention it's lonely.. I'm really tired of being alone.." Her way of saying, yes I need you too.

Rin closed her eyes tight, her rifle still clutched in her hands between them, she spoke quietly. "I wish you had your freedom like I have it.." Body, mind and soul Rinnoa was her own creature. She would protect that freedom with everything she was, it was just now, that freedom included an obligation to him now. Because he had her heart, something she wasn't sure she'd ever get back. Bloody sneak thief.

"You hide more then I do Dag..."

"That's a fine thing to say when I'm still a wee bit mad at you," she sighed at the feel of his lips on her forehead. "Dag, even a Falcon with the freedom of the skies can be bound by a master.." She did wish him his freedom but. "You're the only person with the power to do me real harm... so don't screw it up."

She reached up and pinched him hard on the shoulder, more of a horsebite then a pinch. "Yeah, yeah sex is your solution to everything..." Change the subject? Fine she'd let it go this once, but, not again. She was for the most part completely honest with him.

She snorted and then let out a small catlike sound when he tugged her down to the couch. "Hey now.." she smirked and licked his nose. "You still wont get laid until I'm not mad anymore.."

She turned her head so he ended up kissed her neck instead, a soft smirk gracing her features. "Cruel? Heh, I'm far from cruel lover..."
