The hangover's long gone, but the memories are coming back. It was my best friend's birthday, and well... I was so drunk I went to the dancefloor and started grinding against her boyfriend. Right in front of her. Then I was like "oh s**t" and started dirty dancing with the guy next to me, it was fine until I noticed everyone was giving me rude, weird looks, and that's when I realised I was dirty dancing with her 17 year old cousin. ********.

The Angel Zoom cover of Linkin Park's Crawling is actually quite decent, being that it's etherial/dark ambient instead of faux-industrial. The rant part of this is that I hate myself for liking it.
Note that in this context, decent means "creepy." I'm cold now.

I ******** hate Ottawa. I want it to die.

I went to this club called Heaven last night. I've gotta give them mad props, they have bouncers everywhere. Four at the door (hehe sounds like four on the floor), one behind each bar (there are 2 bars), one by every entrance/exit, one in the outside smoking area watching over everybody, there's bouncers everywhere and they've all got headsets (which I've never seen in Ottawa except at the Gap and Old Navy)

But here's where my rant starts. They advertised Hybrid. I was there until 1:30 (Hybrid's set was supposed to start at midnight), and no Hybrid.

Some greasy guy came up to me, staring at my chest, and asked if I wanted to come home with him. I ran to find my brother's friend (a bouncer) to get rid of the creep, but he dissappeared.

The drinks are expensive, gross, and weak. I think I paid $7 for blue dye and water

The DJ couldn't decide what style of music he was playing, or what track to play next. And every song he played, he had the instrumental version. Sometimes there would just be silence until he put on another track. The ignorant people would clap, thinking the DJ's set was over. It wasn't one of those synchronised claps when there's a buildup or something, it was a "yay for you" kind of clap.

They need an MC. Really badly.

The DJ booth is up on the second floor, which is VIP only. To see the DJ, you have to stand all the way at the other end of the club and strain your neck looking up.

To get a table on the second floor, you have to pay $180, it includes a bottle of whatever, and you can't just get normal drinks you have to keep buying the $180 bottle. To even go to the second floor, you have to be invited by a VIP. So basically there's a skank line.

Yeah, that sounds pretty crappy, oh well... I guess you know now never to return there.

work sucks. ******** reading over tons of things, editing them, checking up on them, finished one of my last phone calls and I'm sitting here with a giant glass of Jameson's. stare
