Misaki_Chii I'd really like to go to that one. I was thinking about it at one point... but I bet it's too late now to preregister for the cheap prices huh? That and it's like 8 hours away from where I live I think sad But I know lots of people who are going there! GRAH! I want to goooo crying 8 hours isn't THAT bad. I have to drive roughly that to get there and about 9 1/2 to get to Chiruki. heh You have until June 15th to register at $45, then until July 15th to register at $50, then you have until August 15th to register online with a credit card or just wait and register at the door for $55. Masq: I'm gonna have to check out your DA stuff. It's kinda funny, I had actually forgotten about my DA account until Feb. or so. One of the DAS club artists had posted their mascot drawing on DA so I went to look and comment, didn't think I had an account so I went to register only to find out that my username was already taken. I thought, odd...so I went through my common passwords and got in.

Not that I particularly like either one, but to be fair...if they're going to start releasing yaoi manga, they should start releasing yuri too. Granted both of them are pretty lame. What's next? They'll start doing hentai? heh

Like I asid yaoi is deffiantly a fad right now . . .

Which definitely makes me question why. heh Masq: For a minute there I thought your avatar was female now. Been away from Gaia a bit too long I guess, didn't realize that they were giving guys the option of choosing female haircuts now. heh My brother and I went to the comic book shop yesterday and spent a ton on manga...ok...so it wasn't mostly for me, but mostly for Chiruki. I bought her Kare Kano Volumes 13-15, then I also bought Chrono Crusade volume 5 and Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode Volume 1 (Yay! biggrin ). Then for next week we ordered volumes 5-10 of Kodocha for Chiruki, Volumes 4-6 of Mahoromatic for me and Fruits Basket volume 9 for him. heh The cool part is that he sells the manga for 20% off. heh Plus I got a blue Eva-00 figure that I've wanted for awhile. I now I have a limited edition glowing Eva-01, a limited edition Eva-01 (the one that had the Engrish on it as seen on engrish.com.), and now the blue Eva-00. Pictures of them all will be forthcoming. hehehe

I don't know why yaoi is such a big fad. I'll admit to like shounen-ai and I have watched one tasteful yaoi show . . . but I don't see why fans like anything that has boy x boy action and will show or read a manga only for that reason. I mean I guess there's something there about girls liking the boyness but . . . I don't know. I'm just not a fan of that. I do however have lotsof IRL fans who mad, yaoi shounen-ai fans. They love reading anything yaoi and shounen-ai, and they love reading other series to find yaoi/shounen-ai couples. Why? I have no clue in hell. I now have the urge to (*le gasp*) venture forth into the anime forum and ask people why they like it . . .
Man Chrono Crusade 5 is out! MAN! I went to the bookstore just Sunday and they didn't have it! ARGH! I did pick up volume 7 of Bleach and the next Clamp no Kiseki. I was looking for the new Chrono Crusade . . . stare The mall I went to is kind of small and cheap- it's literally falling apart as no one goes to it much anymore. I don't want it to close because it's closer and easier to get to than the other mall. 3nodding
Heh. My mom was in here last night dressing my avatar. The outfit was quite ugly, but she thought it was a she and I had to keep pointing he had no boobs. I would dress my avatar up in dresses if we could. xd I like having a male avatar, but the female par tof me still likes female clothing. One of these days we'll get cute skirts for boys whee And it's not the first time my avatar has been mistaken for a girl . . . and it was before I got this hair cut.

I think the fixation with yaoi is because they haven't quite graduated to looking at real pr0n yet. heh *runs and hides from all the scary yaoi fans while getting his sword ready to kill the YaoiMan should he make another appearance at Otakon...god I hate that guy! I feel sorry for vendors around him. He stands up on a chair and yells "Yaoi here!" (or some variation there of) REALLY loudly. He's been at 2 Otakons, 1 Ohayocon and 1 Katsucon that I've been to. (He wasn't at Katsucon 2004 or Otakon 2003)
Chrono Crusade volume 5 was just released last Monday...though it wouldn't be the first time I've seen things on the shelf there before they were actually scheduled to be released. hehehe
As far as your avatar goes, I thought it was a guy, but then I was thinking...when did male avatars get that hair style? I thought it was weird. heh

Hmm that's why I would like to ask yaoi fans if they're whole yaoi thing went outside of animation. Like did they like to watch boy x boy live action and not just like J-rockers . . . because I'm sure wouldl sit there and go "Well j-rockers sex would be hot!" But I guess that would make sense that young girls would get into animated sex than real sex . . . I think. sweatdrop
Yeah a lot of bookstores release mangas before the street date that's why i thought Chrono Crusade would be there, appearnatly not. crying
Oh gotcha. I wanted a new hairstyle. I orignally was going for the one that kind of looked like the aumore hair cut (I don't know the name of it), but I was tired of only have one eye and I wanted it where I could have both eyes so I went with the braid. 3nodding

Unless of course you do like like my avatar where I dress it all in black and make it hard to see his face. heh Does anyone know where I can find the shirt that goes with this hat?

The other mall didn't have Chrono Cruasade five either. crying

Damn...been gone too long. sweatdrop
Yaoi - I can't stand rabid shounen ai fangirls who just like the anime or manga for the guy on guy sex or romance. There's one who goes to my anime club...she's a rabid yaoi YuGiOh fangirl. geh... gonk I do like tasteful series such as Loveless and Sukisyo. Gravitation is good too. I'm loving the Loveless anime though...really loving it. I think it's the whole cat ear thing... lol
Otakon - 6-7 hour drive for me. COME CHII!!! blaugh You too Masq, that'd be so cool if we could all see each other. whee
Tokyo Mew Mew A`la Mode isn't out here yet...grrr...like I could afford it anyways. *sigh* I have to save for Otakon. By friday I should have room and gas money. Then I have to save for food moneys and dealers' room cash. I did, however, splurge at Waldens the other day...Legal Drug v3, Furuba v9, Sensual Phrase v8, Hana Kimi v6, Boys Before Flowers v12 (CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VOLUME!!! Even though I know what's gonna happen. hee),...and yeah. Major splurge for me. sweatdrop
DUDE! We have new smilies!!! rofl
