I am posting durring church.
I am posting because, I swear to you, that our special guest preacher, Jim Summers of Northwest Baptist Church of Miami, Florida, just looked out on our congregation and said, "I love Democracy. I love America."
Hopefully when this crisis is over, he will lay these new powers down.
...fifteen minutes in, and we're about to read the Declaration of Independence. No Scripture has even been mentioned. Get to the Bible, you montebanc!
Ugh...

The Declaration of Independence is fantastic. It should be read by everyone in America at least once. Per year. At the very least. ninja

VictoriaErin Haru Mania Banshi .......Wasn't that movie fun? >.> GoddamnmovieaboutstupidsnakesonastupidplanefornogoodstupidreasonotherthansomestupidpersonthoughtupthestupidideaandgaveJaksonastupidharpoonguntofightabunchofstupidsnakesonastupidplanewhileitwasflyingandIhatethatstupidmovie! It's going to be a legend. o 3o I heard that, after hearing all the hype about the movie, the directors went back and changed a few things based on what the audience said they wanted to see...if I might quote Rob, "I'm pretty sure Sam Jackson beats a snake to death with a snake." Not only did he beat another snake to death with a snake, but it was a snake he pulled off of a person right before it bit them. Another character, some random asian guy, punched a snake that was about to bite this woman and it exploded. biggrin It was pretty terrible and silly. xD The only part I really didn't like was the extra gory snake bite scenes. xP But other than that BEST MOVIE EVAR.

But... the Declaration isn't really politics. That's the beauty of it. Wouldn't politics in your worship be more like... being told who God wants you to vote for or something? ninja

Wouldn't politics in your worship be more like... being told who God wants you to vote for or something? ninja That was what the service was about, it's just that the text was the Declaration. Interestingly, the special guest singer's concert that night was closer to Biblical worship. Heck, the Children's Chior play was too.
