Ooooh, I tend to make long posts? Sorry about that...

Sorry for that also... I should have made it more clear. It's strange. I make jokes and people get offended because they miss the humour, and then I do the same thing. I don't pick up on the humour and take offence... I guess that is just another one of those endless cycles, huh? xp

Holidays would be nice... I'm really craving a good sleep at the moment, but I can't because of this assignment... crying

They're my mid-semesters, not mid-years... According to my diary, I've got my mid-years starting in week fifteen after a study week. Although, I do know that I have some exams in week nine and eleven as well... sweatdrop

Edit: And there I go and do it again... sweatdrop

Nah it's good that you right long posts, it gives me something to do so I'm not as bored. biggrin

Don't worry about the joke thing; no one was hurt this time around, there was only some confusion.

Oh I see. Well I had an assessment for Chemistry in the week before holidays as I said, as well as an assessment for Biology on this friday as well. They were like simple exams I suppose you could say, thought they don't contribute to much of our over-all grade. 5% for the Chem one, and I think 22% for the Biology one.

Lillithia isn't around as much as she should be. I suppose she's more occupied with the Guild which venerates herself. xd

Of course you'll love it here, we're just too kind to be taken any other way.

I have been to Brisbane before!! For a holiday!

Yeah? What did you think?
It was fun! But I was younger so I dont really remember that much....mainly went round to all the theme parks up around there and everything.

Are you a new guild member, or just a re-surfaced member?

Forgive me if I don't remember you if that's the case. This is good, a lot of ne w faces. xd

Lol, it does give you something to do... I'm sick of working on this assignment, but I'm almost ready to print off all my research so I can do a little highlighting before drafting... sweatdrop

The whole joke thing reminds me of bunnah... sweatdrop

I have workshops for both cell and molec. biol. and human biol. that are graded. Human biol is fortnightly, and cell and molec. ones are pretty random. In total there are ten though... Each is worth four percent of my grade. One percent is allocated to turning up, a further one percent for participation and two percent for the end of workshop quiz. All we do is get into our groups of about ten, work through our groups questions (related to our study for the cell and molec. ones), or all of the questions (for human biol). What I mean is, that in cell and molec, each group is assigned questions related to a specific topic from the last unit. In human biol, each group does the same questions, just in a different order. After this, we have to present our answers to the class for cell and molec biol as we all did different questions from the book. This gives time to write the answers for the other questions (which we have in our book, just they weren't assigned to us). In human biol, our tutor explains all the questions for us. Then we have the end of workshop quiz which usually consists of four or five questions (either true/false or multiple choice).

Also, I have my labs for chemistry which are worth four percent each as well. We get a grade out of five for it, which includes our lab safety and performance, accuracy of results, etc.

I get weekly exams for social science. We print them off the internet, and answer them all (multiple choice). They all relate to our weekly readings. So really, they are testing us on our ability to get the information out of them. I'm not sure about the point allocation for them though... sweatdrop

I've also assignments for social science and for crime and justice (one I'm working on now). I also heard that I have assignments for human biol and cell and molec biol but I don't know anything about them yet... sweatdrop

I know I have a chemistry exam in two weeks, and another two weeks later. Cell and molec biol exams in two weeks, and then another one four weeks later. Um... I'm not sure about the others. These ones are just unit exams though. 3nodding

Oh of course everything we do is assessed, but these assessments are the only'test' based assessments we get. I think Chem pracs are worth 5% each, while Biol ones are only worth 3 or 4% depending on the difficulty I suppose. Then there are assingments, one of which I've already done for Biology, and aother for Gender Studies soon.

The exams vary in their grade percentage, but I think they're about 40% or so for each subject.

Yeah, I know everything you do will be assessed... sweatdrop It's just a matter of how much of your grade is allocated to them. My cell and molec. biol. module quizes are both worth ten percent though... I'm not sure about the others. Oh, and the end of seester is worth fourty-five percent. 3nodding

I'm too tired and lazy to make a decent post... sweatdrop
