Solana and Eira followed the soldier through the camp to where Eira could get some armor.
"Only take light armor, as a Jupiter adept you need to be light so that you can be carried on the wind. Too much weight and the wind will only push you along the ground. Also, it allows for great agility, which, I am proud to say, Jupiter's are great in their agility." Solana said simply with a small smile. Eira held up small pieces of armor and waited for Solana's approval of each one. she shook her head to some, but nodded at others. Soon Eira was well equipped and ready to go.

Solana and Eira paused before the portal in front of the Elder Isaac.
"Ready to enter the fray, Eira?" Solana looked at her apprentice. Eira nodded after a large swallow.
"All I can say is, watch out for the dragons." Solana sighed and smiled and rolled her eyes.
"And look out for flying men. Don't get in their way when they are fighting. They might get a little defensive." Solana paused.
"Oh! I almost forgot! Do you have all the medical supplies? We might be used as medics. Totally fine with me. I'm still sore from fighting that stupid wind adept who took out the city."
"Yes ma'am. I understand and I have everything with me."
"Good. Let's go." Solana nodded to Elder Isaac then jumped into the portal, sword in hand and Djinn flying about her. Eira sighed, puffed out her chest and followed Solana with her Djinn and weapons.

Kassion rode atop the "whale-thing" and held on to the Death sword as the beast thrashed and tumbled its way across the ravine, towards the main fighting with the phoenix and dragon. He mentally called upon Blaze, another mars djinni, which causes continuing damage and increases the users speed. He yanked the death sword free and plunged it back in. The sword pulsed and slid in a bit easier. It was turning the whale's own life-force against it, sharpening the blade even as it did its deadly work. He twisted and stabbed and hacked over and over again. The whale thrashed and tumbled and cried out in pain, though it was not a stupid thing. It crashed into the ground and tumbled onto its back, trying to crush its assailant.
Kassion was in mid swing when the whale spun over, tossing him from its back. He enacted a bit of wind to flip him over in the air and landed hard on his feet, though unharmed. The whale continued to thrash as it was assaulted by more pain. Blaze's affect was taking hold and burning into the wounds that were inflicted on the behemoth.
Out of instinct and rage, it send a wave of mental energy at Kassion, causing his legs and grip on his weapons to weaken. He was not ready for the attack. He had not known of such a thing! He tried to pull his wits about him, but was assaulted again, this time causing his legs to buckle. He crumbled to the ground, face first. He tried to bring himself back up, but was too weak. He did not know what was happening, but the only thing that kept him conscious was the death sword that began feeding him the energy it had taken. Another wave hit him, but he was more prepared for it and was able to fight it and stand, though shakily.
He knew he couldn't withstand much more of the punishment, so he mentally summoned Illusion, a jupiter djinni that turned him invisible to the naked eye and even to psyenergy. The whale thrashed even more wildly as its opponent dissappeared. It sent another wave of energy over the area, but Kassion had already moved far to the other side of the whale, using Blaze's speed. The affect soon wore off and the whale was left with a searing pain from the already inflicted wounds and Kassion's speed returned to normal.
He was still invisible, though. He recovered his strength after a few breaths and gripped his weapons tighter. He dove to his stomach as the whale thrashed and bounced over him, trying to find him and crush him. He lept back to his feet and moved away.
After a few moments he felt a pulse in his pouch. The energy from the four mars djinn moved from it and across his body, preparing him for their ultimate unleash. It was almost an unfamiliar feeling and foreign since his days in training, but it was a very welcome feeling at that moment...

Solana and Eira entered into the demon realm.
"I can't tell where they are yet, but I have a feeling that those flashes of light will help us locate them. What do you think?"

Eira nodded her head in a sudden jerk.
"Yes, Lady Solana. I too think we might find them if we head that direction. I am ready for your command, my lady." Eira readied herself by pulling her sword. She was not that great with one, actually she was better at her Psynergy than anything else. But she had been trained by the sword and she could at least protect herself if need be.

"Let us go then!" Solana led the way. Soon Eira and Solana were standing on the edge of a canyon, looking at the raging battle.
"Star! Isn't that the one who destroyed our city and our people?[ Solana pointed to the adept with a purple aura around her.
"Yes it is, Lady Solana. What are you thinking?"
"I am thinking that we bury her here and now." Solana heard a voice cry out. she turned to see Kassion struggling with his enemy.
"Or we could help them out right now." solana rolled here eyes and started down the slope of the canyon.

Solana saw the enemy Kassion had been fighting as it let out an un-earthly howl.
"He is fighting the Mercury Whale? Idiot! You will never win against Enlil!" Solana was almost at the area near Kassion when she realized he was nowhere to be seen.
"Kassion!" She looked around and even used Reveal.
"Nowhere! He must be using a Jupiter." Solana looked around again and saw Matt in his struggle against the Pheonix.
"He is battling Shamash? That will never work. He needs to fight Anshar, the dragon monster. Venus battles Jupiter! That is how it is supposed to go. If they continue on like this, they will all die. Who is battling Kishar, the tree?" Solana shuddered as she felt the eyes of the whale catch sight of her.
"I will battle you and you will freeze!" Solana held out a hand and the whale stopped moving.
"Wow... it worked." Solana looked at her hand. But then she heard the sound of ice cracking.
"I would prefer we did this in my world." Solana said as the whale howled and broke free.
"Oh boy." The whale opened it mouth and began taking in energy.
"Lady Solana!" Eira appeared beside her.
"Eira, run!" Solana pushed her apprentice out of the way and was hit by the blast from the whale.
"HA! Serves you humans right. Emotions get in your way, and you die." The Jupiter Adept who attacked the Lighthouse stood above Solana as she tried to get off the ground. The whale seemed to turn around and begin its search for Kassion once more as it thought that Solana was taken care of. the evil adept grabbed Solana's collar and pulled her up. Solana's feet did not touch the ground as the other adept was a good foot taller than she was.
"So, you know their names?" The adpet threw her head to one side, indicating the demon monsters.
"I do."
"You are a fool."
"Who is the one who angered the Jupiter Master and both of her apprentices? Not I. Leer will have your head."
"We will decide who has a head or who does not. And it seems to me that you are on the loosing side."
"That is what you think." Solana grabbed the wrist of the hand holding her. A surge of cold hit the wrist and turned it into ice. Solana broke off the wrist and fell backwards. She pulled out her sword and held out her staff. Her Djinn surrounded her and she prepared for attack by lifting off the ground with her Psynergy.

Kassion felt Meteor building. He knew it wouldn't kill the whale-thing, but at least it would do some needed damage and slow it down. He didn't have a weapon in his hand. He called forth the building psyenergy into his hands as he clamped them together as if he was holding a weapon. They began to glow a bright blue-ish-white.
His invisibility faded at that instant, but luckily the attention was shifted from him, now. He looked to see what it was that the whale was focusing on and noticed a small figure, now in the hands of one of the summoners. He didn't have time to analyze the situation, so he focused on the distracted target.
"Meteor!" He bellowed.
He then released all of the building mars energy in a downward swing of his clamped hands. The meteor materialized in the sky and plummeted down. It crashed into the whale, forcing out a scream of agony from it, blasting Kassion's thoughts from his head. The creature, a being of water, wasn't too harmed, but when the fire, smoke, and debris cleared it was burned and scarred very badly. It was steaming, or so it seemed. It tried to counter the searing pain by coating itself in layers of summoned ice and water, but it was instantly evaporated. Regardless, the thing was alive and now obviously much angrier than it was before. It was looking at Kassion, too.
"Oh, bloody hell!" Kassion broke into a mad run for the ledge of the ravine, trying to get back in it so the whale couldn't get to him. It started a low "hum" and watched Kassion's movements.
Searing water spouts erupted from the ground right in front of Kassion. He was nearly impervious to fire, but burning hot water was a different story altogether. He skidded to a halt and moved to run around them. More emerged from the ground, blocking his path.
Kassion stopped, focused his energy and ran right into the spouts. He used his minor jupiter abilities to create a force field around himself for a split second, just to push the water away from his body to get through. More spouts came up and he did it again and again. The ravine was only twenty yards away. Fifteen. Ten.
A spout blasted the ground right beneath him, catching him before he could move it aside. The force blasted him from his feet, the air from his lungs, and the skin from his arm. He grunted and gritted his teeth as he slammed into the ground. He forced himself up on his good left arm, but the whole right side of his body was burned very badly. He immediately called on healing powers, but the whale unleashed another attack. Kassion saw it coming and pushed most of it away, but the force threw him from his feet again. Five yards from the edge.
He looked up and saw it. He lept to his feet, despite the pain, and jumped from where he stood. He cleared the edge, but not before he was clipped by another spout, burning his left side very badly and knocking the wind from his lungs again.
He tumbled down, bumping along the sides, gained knew gashes each time. His armor saved him many times, including a nasty smack on the wall with his helmet. Barely able to see straight, he enacted a pulse of energy to counter the force of the fall, abruptly stopping him three feet from the ground and allowing him to fall just those three feet and lie there.
He mumbled a few healing words, closing the worst of his wounds, but his strength was mostly gone. He sat upright and thought about the fight. He had exhausted himself, teaming with Maxwell against the tree, and now running from a major assault on and from the whale.
He stood there for a few moments, listening to the sounds of battle. He would do what he could, but that wasn't much at this point. He floated up to join his comrades.

Solana saw Kassion's mad dash for the ravine. He was now up in the air, partially healed. She sensed Eira helping Matt as much as she could at the moment. The woman in front of her was beginning to fade. Suddenly, with a gust of wind, she disappeared.
"Coward!" Solana flew across the battlefield and rushed to join Kassion. She knew he was hurt. She knew more healing Psynergy than he did, so she knew she would be able to help him. The whale had seemed to disappear. She could only sense it, and it was very far away at the moment.
"Kassion!" Solana called out and blew a blast of healing Psynergy to help him before he fell out of his own spell.

((Didn't know we were ready to continue, lol.))
Focusing more and more energy into the psynergy orb he now held in front of him, he looked over to where Kassion had dove off to evade the whale. "Curses...this will have to do." Letting lose the demonic energy inside the weapons on his body, and that of the surroundings, he slammed the orb down into the ground. "Dullahan!" He shouted and called forth the ancient knight from the abyss. It's armor shown a pale purple as it walked over to the edge and saw Kassion floating back up. "Umm...Dullahan? We could use your help, not your spectating." He said as Dullahan turned back around and threw out one hand, letting the lightning blade form around an invisible sword. Charging forward, it jumped into the air, and drove the energy deep within the thrashing whale, making it's entire body shake with the new wound it tried to heal. "A bit...crude, but effective. Master!" Maxwell shouted out and ran over to the edge, seeing Kassion move closer and closer. "Need a hand?" He said and reached out to him, seeing that most of his strength was already gone from this fighting. His was as well, from all the repeated uses of the demonic psynergy, but, at the same time, being restored thanks to the enviroment.

Solana appeared suddenly next to Kassion.
"What is going on? Who are they?" Solana pointed towards the warlords standing on a ledge watching the battle. The female wind demon appeared beside them.
"And please tell me that you do NOT have the Mars Star in here!"

Kassion crested the ledge and took Maxwell's offered hand, even though it wouldn't have been much help if it wasn't for psyenergy. Kassion was over twice his apprentice's weight. He looked over as Solana appeared next to him. "What is going on? Who are they?"
Them? Well, my guess is as good as anyone elses, but I'd say that they're the ones sending those demons from the shadow realm to our realm. I would be willing to expand that guess, safely, and assume that they're a part of an organization. They are probably running out of room in their own realm, so they probably seek to take ours.
"And please tell me that you do NOT have the Mars Star in here!"
Fortunately, I'm not that irresponsible! I left it with the elders. On my original trip to the portal I sent it through another miniature portal to the council at Prox.
He sighed and gave a quick sarcastic glare Solana's way. He patted Maxwell on the shoulder and said, "You know, I've never liked being around such dark abilities, but they seem to be of no minor significance in such a realm to manifest them. Just be careful in your use when we make it back to our realm."
"Solana, how do we kill each of these things? I can't seem to finish off the whale, though that's obvious enough to the reason why. The sapling was annoying, but it didn't take well to fire, as we figured. I believe my role in this battle is finished. Do you have any regenerative spells for my own psyenergy? I'm all out. A star would do quite nicely. We could find out who these oppressors are as soon as we're ready."
He indicated the phoenix, "And who is to take on the bird? The other ones are pretty much taken care of, but that one is my only worry. No one has touched it, so far."

"The only thing I can say is that while Dullahan is here, we're safe for the time being. He's doing a damn good job of holding that beast off. Now if only I could use him better while we're not here..." He muttered that last part to himself as he grabbed his two weapons out of their shealths. "We can't do anything about the phoenix as we are, and I don't see how anybody could in our current states. The only thing we can do is to take out the warlords and pray for the best, I say."
