Waiting for an answer from the other side of the door, the girl pondered about what she was going to ask Chiharu, if she actually found her there. Twirling a thread of dark hair in her fingers, the young genin sighed. She did wanted to know who could have possibly done this, but she couldn't expect a concrete answer. Some other questions wander in her mind: what had happened to the people inside the house, what about Mari chan?
Hearing a voice behind the door, she found it appropiate to walk in, even though it wasn't her cousin's voice. Giving not much importance to this fact, Yune turned the doorknob, a small squeaking noise resounding as she opened the door. A shiver ran down the girl's spine, stepping inside. This was probably she hated hospitals. The eerie noises, the uncomfortable silence, the weird odor...
Yune looked up, noticing a girl around her age and someone else sleeping. A small disappointed sigh escaped the girl's lips not seeing her cousnin there, before bowing down slowly. "Sorry for bothering... I was just looking for someone." she muttered with a sheepish smile.
She remembered seeing this girl in the Academy some time ago, though she couldn't recall talking to her even once. "Are you okay?" she asked suddenly, gazing at the bandages wrapped around the Hyuuga's arms.

Hatsuhi blinked several times when her eyes met a person she had certainly not been expecting to enter her room. A girl that by all means had to be around her age, white skin and dark brown hair... there was something vaguely familiar about her... but she couldn't associate her face to anyone...
She saw her bow down and heard her apology without saying anything, her lilac eyes fixed in her face as she saw the young girl smile. Where... where had she seen her?
Then, another question escaped the girl's lips abruptly, and Hatsuhi opened her eyes a little in mild surprise. She merely nodded in response.
Then, as she looked upon her eyes once again, she remembered.
"You're from the academy" she said suddenly. She was not asking a question. It was an statement.

Yune shifted her eyes to the floor, somewhat nervous by the girl's fixed gaze. She looked up not hearing an anwer to her question, but found a nonchalant nod in response. "Umm..." the girl muttered, not really know what to say. So this girl wasn't only silent at school...but all the time.
Sure, the Nara could remember the days at the Academy. She would usually scribble in her books instead of paying attention to the teacher...the class was boring anyway. But when she actually turned to her head from the doodles, she would always see this girl gazing intently at the board, paying little attention to the kids and noise around her. Yune had even heard once the nickname their classmates had called her. 'The silent freak.' It was cruel in her opinion, but she could see the Hyuuga was indeed quiet.
Listening to Hatsuhi, she just tilted her head, blinking. "Heh? ..Oh! Yeah. We were in the same class...I'm Yune." she said, taking a step into the room.

He had slightly dozed off on hearing the hokage-sama's answer. he hadn't meant too, it was just he had more or less been exhausted by the events that had suddenly plauged his life.
He noticed the new guest eneter and took this as his cue to leave, as clearly two classmates caught up, something he would never do. After all who did he have to catch up with, he had long since graduated from that child's school. With one gliding movement he stood up and slipped out, feeling much better since the hokage has given him her magic touch.
Returning to his own room, he busied himself with a few mental exerisces and counted down to his release out of here.

She watched askance as her cousin promptly left the room and muttered "Hatsuhi" by the time Rayo had closed the door.
Giving her name was enough introduction. To give her name was enough, concise and quick.
She kept staring at her all the time, having nothing else to do. She couldn't help to notice the fidgeting of this unexpected visitor, her tilted head, her quiet voice.
"You look uncomfortable"
She did that all the time. Used to talk only in the necessary amount to suffice an answer, or to point out something, she couldn't help blurting out comments that most people would consider awkward or tactless; and right now, she merely remarked what she thought was an obvious observation.

Yune was taken aback by the short and cold introduction, if it could be called like that. Nonetheless, the girl smiled, giving a soft nod.
"Nice meeting you"
It was weird to say this due to the fact that they had been in the same classroom for years; but this was, in fact, the first time Yune ever talked to this girl. "Hatsuhi is a pretty name." she notted, playing with her sleeve. The Nara sighed in a quiet manner, feeling that mantaining a conversation with the girl in front of her was harder than she had imagined.
The girl looked up, listening to the Hyuuga speaking once more. "Uncomfortable?" Yune repeated slowly, looking at her. "Umm...no, it's nothing. I just don't like hospitals." she said lightly, shrugging. And you staring at me as if trying to see through my skull isn't helping either... the girl thought, a small frown in her face. A bright smile covered the frown instantly. If she continued acting jumpy, these questions wouldn't stop coming until answers run out. "So..." Yune began, thinking what she would say next. "What do you think about the genin squads? Aren't you nervous to know who's going to be on you team?"

On Hatsuhi's forehead appeared a small, almost imperceptible frown as she heard the girl's reason to her discomfort; but before she could ponder further on the matter, she spoke again.
Hatsuhi merely blinked once when she heard Yune's out-of-the-blue comment. It was as though she was trying to keep conversation with her for some reason.
"Not really" Hatsuhi answered in a low voice as she shifted her gaze at the wall in front of her "It doesn't matter... who I end up with..." she talked in small intervals, as if speaking everything at once was a very hard feat for her to accomplish "they would all be the same..." she turned her eyes to the brunette once more "That's why... it doesn't matter to me."
She blinked again, and suddenly added "You're different."

The girl arched an eyebrow hearing the girl's answer. Unlike Hatsuhi, she really felt that the genin teams were something to be, at least, a little nervous about. Wonder who would be your partner for years, until they could finally make to chuunin. The girl just hoped for people she could get along with, and if this couldn't be possible...well, good teamwork was the last thing she could wish for.
The girl noticed the breaking of the sentence in small parts, tilting her head to the side, but at least it looked like she was placing effort in answering. A small smile appeared in Yune's face, noticing the Hyuuga's replies were a bit longer; it wasn't much, but at least she talked instead of shaking her head or nodding.
About to give a response to her, Hatsuhi talked once more. Different? What did that mean? Different from who? Furrowing her brows, the young genin walked over to the armchair next to the bed. "Do you mind if I sit?" she asked, sitting down before receiving an answer. "Different, how?"

Hatsuhi waited until Yune had taken seat, not bothered in the slightlest that she had decided to stay with her. And meditated for a few seconds as to how anwser her question.
"You're different... from the rest of them... the students" she stared at the small window at the left of her room, as if she could see them peering through the glass "Or at least... from the ones I've talked to before..." she shifted her gaze at Yune's eyes "You are... the first person to be nice to me" she finished her sentence calmly, as if she had been asked a simple matter such as the weather, and not of something so delicate as her classmates ill treatment towards her.

Yune looked at the girl aghast, not believing what she was hearing. The frown on her face turned, with every phrase Hatsuhi fnished, darker. She was just being polite...it wasn't that hard. Yune looked at her, as if asking if she was being serious...Sure, she wasn't the talkative type, but that didn't give the others the right to push her away. Just for being a little... more silent.
"You haven't met much people then. " she said after some time of silence. Even though the Hyuuga sounded calm talking about the topic, Yune guessed it should be uncomfortable to be isolated from the rest of the kids. "There are really nice people around."

"Is that so?" she answered in a colorless voice as she closed her eyes and slowly leaned in her pillow. She had suddenly gotten very tired.
Hatsuhi couldn't recall when was the last time she had talked this much with another human being, and even more, a human being around her age! Only with her mother (and very occasionally her father) she talked as much as this. "Strangers" did not usually chat with her that much when they were forced to... Therefore, a girl who had remained with her willingly, stroke Hatsuhi as something very odd.
She suddenly remembered something.
"I thought you didn't like hospitals, Yune-san?" She felt the word 'Yune' in her lips as she pronounced it. It wasn't that bad.

Yune nodded energetically, her head bobbing back and forth. "Mhh-hmm! There's Chiharu nee for example. She's scary sometimes, but she's really nice." and her rant continued. The girl probably mentioned half her class, plus others she knew, all in a sigle breath. Taking a huge gulp of air, she was ready to continue with her long list, but was cut half sentence, when Hatsuhi talked once again. "Eh?" She looked at her, her expression blank for a moment. Talking to the Hyuuga, she had totally forgotten she was in one of the places she wasn't comfortable in. Her face changed in that instant, turning into a grimace. "I don't." she suddenly said, standing up from her sitting position, walking up to the window.

Hatsuhi noted the sudden change of mood in the girl, and something that she could only associate with guilt and regret made her chest flinch for a second.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to upset you..." she told her as she stared at the back of Yune's head "But... if you don't like being here... you don't have to stay if you don't want to..."
She paused for a moment. She didn't know how to voice what she was thinking. She had never done something like that before. It felt very odd, therefore, when she found her mouth pronouncing words foreign to her vocabulary.
"If you want... we can... we may..." Was she doing it right? Was this the correct approach? "As soon as I am discharged... we could... see each other... another day... if you want to..." she finished with a quiet voice.
It was a little harder than she expected, but she felt a small rush of excitement at the prospect of talking with this girl again. Was this what people called a date? No... she had read somewhere that dates were between a man and a woman. What was this called then, between two people of the same gender? She would have to investigate that later.

"Mhh...No, It's okay." the girl answered in a low tone, shaking her head lightly. Yune still gazed at the village outside, taking in the cool air. By the looks of it, she had stayed inside a hospital room more time than she had expected; it was getting late. It wasn't dark outside yet, but the sun had moved in position since her arrival. "I need to overcome this silly fear." The girl spoke once again sheepishly, after a short pause. She turned around to face the Hyuuga, shrugging.
Listening to Hatsuhi's struggle with words, she looked up, saying nothing. She didn't want to interrupt until she was done. A smile appeared in her face, nodding. "Sure!" She had been thinking the same thing, and was somehow glad Hatsuhi talked first. She needed to speak with people of her own age more often.
Moving away from the window, the girl walked up to the bed, her hands behind her back. "Well, we could go to the ramen stand, or just take a stroll through the village." she listed, thinking of places where they could go. Do you have any ideas?" she asked.

Hatsuhi stared at the ceiling for a moment while pondering for the best options.
"Village" she said after a small pause "I would like... a stroll through the village..."
She directed her gaze towards the Nara girl's eyes and blinked. They seemed to radiate some sort of happiness, excitement. Did that mean she was also looking forward to their next meeting? Hopefully it did. Because Hatsuhi was excited at the prospect too.
"Is that... okay with you?"
