he had hoped thats what he would say. Kai looked at Fiore and then ventured out of the palace and into the courtyard to get some fresh air. "hes good. hopefully gets what I want"

Fiore stared at the bulky stone tablet this too cumbersome for me it needs improvement she held her hand over the pheonix symbol focusing her power and pulled the magic from the tablet which crumbled into dust after the magic was removed, she stood there for a moment thinking the magic energy she drew from the tablet swirled around her hand she blinked and retrieved a large gold medallion from the bag hanging from her waist belt. " Modestus Caelestis.." she clamped her hand hard around the magical energy confining it inside her hand and smashed it onto the medallion's golden surface. she fell on her knees breathing heavily "that was harder then expected.." she whispered to herself brushing her blonde locks of hair out of her face, she stood up dignified and handed the pendant to kai which now had a brilliant red stone in its center.

Kai took the pendant politly. and then began to speak to his guard Fiore. "Fiore you know I cant weild magick. So this pendant is worthless in my care you know that" he said with a small chuckle almost wiching he had some sort of magical talent. But he left that to one of his mentors Alix.

Kitayiu appeared out of Fiores shadow. He took the medallion from kai and then turned back to Fiore. "I would appreaciate it...if you didn't tap into the tablets magic for any other reason then to contact me." He said with a very stern voice. He took the meadllion in both hands and focused energy into it. He opened his hands and it was the grey tablet again, but playing card shaped and sized, and the emblem was on it again. "That is the only remnant of the Kinnogachi Palace, do NOT tamper with it." he gave it back to Kai and disappeared.

Kai walked into the Grand Hall. He was to meet the King in his quaters to have his new Co-Commander sworn in. The King must approve be for she can actually go into combat with pay. He entered the chamber of kings and there the man was his crowm gleamed in the light.
"Aww Kai how goes things" said the king very happy to see him
"Very well my lord, I have finally come up with a Co-Commander for your forces" said Kai on a bent knee.
"Oh really which knight did you promote?"
"Not a knight sir a Elven woman by the name of Rina. She is an excellent fighter and..."
"That name...It isnt a Noble name. Kai you cant have commoners hold high positions like this!" the king was outraged.
"Well my lord if you wish me to lead your armies I want her with me" Kai was stern on his stance he cared less about noblemens and tradtition.
"Kai...you have already made up your mind...leave me now" the king turned away he was disapointed at Kai.
Kai nodded and then parted the chamber

Ky walked slowly through the halls, and saw Kai.Ky then started to head towards him, a look of emotionlessness, in his eyes.He then got to Kai and walked slowly behind him, not making a noise as he walked.He then said,"Kai...what was your business with the king about?"

Max sighs as he slightly peers out of his room. He was a bit hesitant to going out into the bulk of the castle. So he wouldn't, he was actually waiting for someone. It was time for his studying, and the king made sure he employed the most knowledgeable scholar in the kingdom, a friend of his actually. Alexander Xavier Ferdinand. He was also his magic teacher, and one of the few people Max trusted with his life. And one of the few people he knew period to tell the truth.

Knocking on the door of the prince, he began to wonder. Why has Kai done this? Not only to me, but to the kingdom. A filthy half elf. The co commander of Tisa's army. That's as bad as hiring someone with no battle experience as a Knight! Or... hiring a demon as the advisor. "Maximilian, are you there?" He asks.

Max sighs in relief. Finally he was there. He opens the door allowing Alex to enter the lavish room of royalty. "Welcome." He smiles to the effiminate man. Carrying that book as always. He asked him once what was the book for... everything got dark after that.

Alex enters the room. And lavish it was. As to be expected of the prince of the kingdom, it was twice as large as his room and then some. The sad thing was, the princess' chamber was even larger and more elaborate. There was plenty of room for them to study in the room, as to Maximilian's wishes. He hardly left this room to study to be honest.

"Alex." He begins, but instantly drops it. "Sorry, nothing." He adds quickly, feeling tempted to apologize again for bringing anything up in the first place. Very unprincelike behavior. "So, where did we leave off last time?" He asks. He knew but he was afraid he'd be wrong so he just asked instead of taking a chance.

Kai had felt what he did was right even if many nobles where against the whole thing. He could see the promise in all he employed he in his mind made a sound desicion he then looked a Ky as he entered the hall. "Military Business" he replied and kept on his way. He still couldnt believe his judgement was being challenge well sure this is one of the more drastic situations but in all respect he was Commander of Tisa's forces.

Max winces in both pain and annoyance. Alex was an honorable man. Smart, wise, kind, friendly, respectful... but there was one thing that Max could never ever honor, that was his hatred for other races. It made him annoyed, even angry. He didn't dare speak up. Alex must have his reasons, besides he didn't want to lose one of his only friends.
"Oh, that's right." He smiles.

"As you know there is almost more races than this book can hold. But they fall under three categories. Humanlike, demonlike, and animallike." He says in a matter-of-fact way. "But there is cases of...." He shudders for a second. "Half breeds... They fall under the category of what they resemble most. Unless both the parents happen to be in that category, then naturally the child is." He continues.
