Interjecting Krystal's thoughts, Ezekiel found himself listening to something that he probably shouldn't of interrupted. He thought to Krys,

Beloved Twin, even if it does require some challenge, our bond is very difficult to break. This isn't my fault, however, so don't blame me!! As for that shark, I'm sure I can't multi-task swimming and fighting in this new form as of yet, so I think I'm better off making a break for that lab entrance before I lose my head -- literally!!

Zeke could barely see the entry point to the underwater facility, But he could definitely see the shadow that was growing in size. Fearing for his (and Talon's) living status, he swam as quickly as his massive polar bear body would take him to the underwater entrance.

He thought to himself, "It's just going to be one of those days..."

Talon squinted his eyes, glaring at the concept of eavesdropping. This would be so much easier if that problem didn't exist. Okay, listen to me Zeke, there isn't much time. Keep going, you can make it. The hole is big enough for two submarines abreast, so you can fit easily. What I need you to do is swim as quickly as you can, but try not to make too much unnecessary movement whilst doing so. That's hard, especially for your first time, but if you don't do it, you will die. Our friend here isn't close enough to see us; he's still going by the electro vibrations in the water. I am going to attract its attention...You'll be safe once you're in the bay; hostiles have been eliminated. Good luck.
Talon veered off towards the looming shadow, performing backflips and spiralling tumbles to cause as much disturbance in the water as possible. He would have to stay near the surface if this diversion was going to take place; hydro acrobatics meant he would need oxygen at more regular intervals than normal diving.

Well, I can be glad for Zeke that the tactic is working. Talon pulled out of a turn and swam in the opposite direction of the great white, initiating the inevitable game of cat and mouse.

Polar Bear Ezekiel knew there wasn't any time to muck around. There's nothing like avoiding a shark twice it's size and triple the weight. He swam into the airlock, wondering where Talon was. He thought it'd be best to leave him to what Talon does best. Of course he couldn't leave him witout telling him of his plan though.

Talon! Keep at your game! I'm going to regroup with the others and get them to help us. Just call me if you are in need.

Knowing he had no time to spare, Ezekiel pushed the gleaming red button as carefully as possible in order to let all the water out. Once he could breathe again, the automatic door opened and Zeke made a run for it. Whilst looking for the others, he thought to them:

Guys!! Where are you? Have you reached the bottom yet? Talon can't keep a 6 metre long shark at bay forever!! We need to help him!!

As he awaited a reply, Zeke stumbled upon a huge, walk-in safe with a sign nearby reading,

MYTHICAL DNA LAB. STRICTLY AUTHOURISED PERSONNEL ONLY.

Zeke thought to himself, "That might be something to check in on later. Now that my heart is racing, I think I'll try changing back to my human self."

His foe dangerously close, Talon tumbled backwards, passing over the shark's head and attaching himself to the dorsal fin with his claws and teeth.
If I need help, my epitaph will be prepared by the time anyone gets here. Let's see. I can either try to defeat this guy, or I can get to the submerged land where fish can't go...Why not both? Talon promised himself that he would have grinned if not for his teeth being in such an awkward position.
It had been a while since Talon's last underwater battle, and Talon could still taste the viscous ink that his tentacled opponent had sprayed in desperation, but he was (quietly) confident that he could eliminate this mammoth creature.
The great white twirled around in any direction and manner it could hastily think of, hoping to rid itself of the hostile passenger. Only then could it sink its jaws into that frustrating mammal.
However, Talon had been in near death throes before, and didn't particular enjoy the idea of being involved in another, so he carefully clawed his way along the shark's body, one paw at a time (it seemed to Talon that this was incredibly similar to rock-climbing, but he put that thought aside until he could giggle safely).
It didn't take as long as he first reckoned to reach the shark's two vulnerable areas; the gills and the eyes. He tore at the latter first, but was forcibly knocked from his position with an incredibly well-aimed tail strike.

Wincing from almost unbearable agony, Talon soon realised that he was now considerably closer to the submarine bay, and therefore bent his will upon entering through the tunnel alive. He paid no attention to the (possible eyeless) creature somwhere behind him, focusing solely upon every kick and paddle that would propel his injured body through the water.

The submarine entered the docking bay at the same time as Talon, and the shark followed blindly. The water was emptied from the bay, and Krystal leapt out and fastened her teeth into the shark's head. The shark thrashed about wildly, trying to reach the considerably larger mammal on its back than before. Krystal screamed across the link in terror, but knew that she had a better chance of killing the creature than Talon did. Thankfully, without the vibrations of the water and lack of oxygen, the shark slowed, and eventually lay still, dead.

However, it hadn't gone down without a fight. Now that the danger to Talon was over, Krystal fell to the side, a rather large wound gaping in her side. She breathed in shallowly, and tried to change back into her human form. She couldn't remember how! She was going to die..

A shining orb rose up out of the body of the great white, and Krystal stared at it dazedly. The orb floated over to her and sank into her dying body. She began to convulse, and morphed into the great white.

Get out of the sub and refill the chamber... Krystal called to the others via the link. The transformation had healed the wound, but she was now going to die from lack of oxygen if the bay wasn't refilled quickly, as she didn't seem to be able to transform back into either her panther or human forms.

Tyr pulled himself out of the sub after everyone else and saw a nice big button near the entrance with the word 'fill' on it. Lumbering over, he poked it gently.

A red light started to flash over the entrance and water started flowing back in. Within seconds the chamber was filled and the sub was floating next to the great white that was Krystal.

I don't know how I changed back, but I think I just thought of being human again. I also think it is because an elephant and a rhino aren't that different. It may take you some time Krystal. You too Talon.

Staring at the water for a moment, Tyr turned and looked around the chamber. Boxes lined the walls and equipment hummed and lit up seemingly randomly.

"Now what?" He asked in his slow, deep voice.

Yet again failing to shift back to his human likedness, Ezekiel watched the occurences seemingly whizz past him. Zeke had finally took in that his sister is now a shark.

Now that's promising, Ezekiel thought to the others, Now we can't leave until Twin is able to leave the water.

Taking in all the flashing lights and buttons and nearly inaudible sounds, Ezekiel knew only too well what would happen.

That's an alarm guys, if those scientists are smart enough we are going to have some guard company. Get ready.

Krystal laughed inside her brother's head. You should hide. That way they'll assume i'm the intruder and enter the water. You could ambush them from behind. This could be interesting, she said, baring her teeth. I quite like this form. I feel... powerful.

Talon grinned at Ezekiel, thankful that he had helped the injured otter out of the submarine bay before it filled with water ((no, you didn't, but it's easier this way than Talon suffocating ^_^)). Err...guys? No need to rush about with the whole hiding thing. If you remember, I've already been down here, so the closest guards are already...incapacitated. However, it is a big installation, so another lot of them will arrive, it will just take a little longer. All I'm saying is you don't need to rush around like headless chickens.
Still in otter form, Talon attempted to stand, but found he no longer had the energy to do so. He would've shrugged if his stamina would allow it, but in light of the circumstances, he merely bethought the others, I don't want to waste any more energy, and I'm not even sure if I am physically sound, so would anyone mind carrying me? I know it's a lot to ask, but...

Looks like you're no longer special Talon, Maggie thought, let's hope these guys don't have to kill a ferocious beetle, or I'll never get to leave the morgue again.

She lay back, her eyes closing to slits. At the moment, she was ineffectual. Others were fighting and driving the sub, and it wasn't as if she could help Talon. It would be best for her to stay out of their way for a moment, if she could keep herself form making sarcastic comments.

It would be an arduous task, requiring her full concentration. Truly, these people didn't understand her sacrifices for their behalf.

((Is amused.))

"What if we shift to familiar forms of the scientists?" Tyr said. "Polar bear, shark and elephant while the rest hide, setting an ambush?"

For some reason it made logical sense that they should shift. So he did. A trunk sprouted from the front of his face and he grew massively. But, besides the trunk and ears, the shift was almost exactly the same as his normal shifting. Probably why the others couldn't shift back.

Talon, if the other guards come in, try attacking me. I think that if they think that we've lost control, we'll get the upper hand on them when we all attack. If that makes sense.

Talon, breathing heavily from the effort, gazed up at Tyr. Yes. It does make sense. If you ignore some significant factors, the most prominent being that when I said I didn't want to waste energy, I meant to say that I have no energy left. Just compare me to an exhausted Scooby Doo that couldn't even move for a scooby snack. Comprende? Talon lowered his head to the ground and swore, wishing he had some chocolate to eat; it probably wouldn't give him a stamina boost, but it certainly would taste fantastic right now. Sorry guys, but I am incapacitated. Look, if it helps, I can be the centre of a bait-based trap; as long as I stay stationary!

Maggie poked Talon experimentally, giggling when he didn't move. "Awesome," she muttered, picking him up and draping him over one arm. I'd wear you as a stole if I wasn't afraid you'd somehow find enough energy to rip open my jugular, she thought to the little furball, wishing she had more time to play with his defenseless form.

Mentally weeping over the lost opportunity, she stashed the otter behind some of the boxes, hopefully far away enough to avoid any of the ensuing battle. She then transformed to fly form. I do love a good ambush, she thought, placing herself directly over a door.
