I tried to be good and not drink as much as I have been lately, but then I couldn't get to sleep, which was why I was drinking in the first place, so I've decided that it doesn't pay to be good. twisted heart ninja pirate

I recently read an article in a magazine about whiskey tastings. Now I've been to wine and beer tastings, but I've never been to a whiskey tasting. So I've decided to hold my own private whiskey tasting. Does anyone have any suggestions about what kinds/types/brands of whiskies I should feature in my private tastings question heart ninja pirate

Randolyn I recently read an article in a magazine about whiskey tastings. Now I've been to wine and beer tastings, but I've never been to a whiskey tasting. So I've decided to hold my own private whiskey tasting. Does anyone have any suggestions about what kinds/types/brands of whiskies I should feature in my private tastings question heart ninja pirate I'm assuming you're talking rye whisky? if so, crown royal (a given) canadian club, gibsons (i preffer the silver over the gold myself), canadian mist, royal reserve, super store medallion (the lowest of the low) ummmm i dunno... black velvet? (never tried that one myself) anyone else?

I originally purchased the Canadian Mist, because I had never tried it, and because it was cheap. However, I couldn't stand the taste of it so I dumped what was left of the bottle down my kitchen sink this morning. Life is too short to drink the cheap stuff. From now on for my private samplings, I'm only going to go with good stuff. heart ninja pirate

Crown Royal and Canadan Club are in but Canadian Mist and Black Velvet are out. Thankyou for your suggestions. heart ninja pirate
