"To kill?" Eike said defensively "I'll have you know I very rarely killed......" His voice trailed off. "Scratch that, but anyway, you trying to get that open?" He asked, "Stand back." When she persisted, Eike drew his desert eagle, pulled her back and blew two tiny holes in the door. The door slid open wilfully, and on walking cooly through, Eike holstered his gun and smirked, "One use, yeah?"

"I'll have you know I found you, about to kill someone" Bunny said, just as defensivley back to Eike. "Plus, my sonic screwdriver has been passed down through generations, it's VERY handy. Much handier and easier than your stupid guns I'll have you know. Where i wish to make a clean, UN-noticed entrace, your gun knocks down the door. Very good way to be spotted, or have unwanted attraction from THE unwanted" Bunny hissed back as she pocketed her sonic screwdriver and followed Eike in. "So much for Subtly" she murmered under her breath. "Put that thing away before you cause any more unwanted attraction Eike".

Eike sighed, "Oh, come on Bunny, no one's going to see those holes, and all I did was mess with the temperal circuit in the door, as soon as the plasma cools, it'll go back to working normally." HE did, however, holster his weapon and followed Bunny through the door, into a very classy room. Closing in on Bunny silently, he whispered in her ear "So, what do you think this place is; VIP room?" Eike straightened up once more, looking round intently for some sort of CCTV. "There's no camera's in the room." He said in his normal voice. "A room without CCTV? That's unheard of, anywhere I've been anyway."

"You don't know that" Bunny bit back. "They could have... I don't know... Hyper sensitive doors, that set off internal alarms that only the security people can hear" she added with a wink. "Never ever be quick to judge what New New York has in terms of security or traps" Bunny said wearliy as she looked around the room herself. "Although you do have a point. It looks as though it belongs to some VIP room. Yet, there's no one guarding it, nor is anyone in it- or watching it. .. The roofs are solid iron, nothing can be hidden up there. Not even minute CCTV cameras. Infact, maybe they're eradicated all CCTV in this era" she finished wiht a shrug moving to the walls at the farthest wall. "Strange. Only one entry/exit. If it is a VIP room, surley they'd have greater security measures, meaning more exits... incase of emergency?" she said wiht a frown, scanning the walls with her sonic screwdriver. "So Eike... What are you thinking? What do you reckon is beyond this wall?"

Eike strode over to the far wall where Bunny was and laid his ear against it, tapping gently for a hollow sound. bending low, he did so again and got an echo. "There's something down here." He said, looking over the surrounding area. He felt small area's near the floor and up the wall, "There doesn't seem to be any hinges or cracks or anything to suggest a door. He stood upright again, "You have a look, maybe your screwdriver can find something."

Before Eike had even finished his sentence Bunny was already pushing at something, that seemed to be pushing out of the wall- the sonic screwdriver having already activated... Well, soemthing. Something Bunny hadn't quite figured out yet. "What do we have here" she said finally as she ran her hand along the edge of it. "Seems all a little to simple actually" she said after a moment. It was simply..... Very simply, a big.... red.... button. What better thing to do, than press the big... red... threatening button. "You're smarter than you look Eike.. Indeed, there's something behind here.... I guess pushing this, would help us to figure out what's behind there" she beamed as her fist slammed into the red button, not suprisingly opening a door, out of the wall- a seamless door to be truthfull. You couldn't have felt a crack before, but there it was- opening out into what seemed to be a big.... Laboratory.
Laboratory 1: Project Genieve to be exact.
"Comming or what Eike? Or are you too scared to venture forth into the unknown....
Yet again.

Eike chuckled sarcastically, "Of course, because with a gun I'm going to be scared, yeah." Eike pulled a flashlight from the inside pocket of his coat and fixed it to the bottom of his pistol. Eike crept in to the laboratory. "No one's here. wonder why." He said, gazing round, gun down, but still ready to fire. "Come on in, Bunny, it's perfectly safe," He turned round and said flatly, "But what would you care if it weren't?" He stared into her eyes for a moment, seeing all her feelings, the absolute terror she was capable of feeling, then looked away, his mind taking over the moment telling him to secure the room.

"Well......... To be truthful most gun owners simply own a gun, and carry it with them because they ARE scared.. They think a gun will protect them, and it usually ends up killing them. What's a criminal... Or a 'being' in our case, going to do when it see us threatening them with a gun.. Attack that's what. Why are gun owners so neive" Bunny replied, as flatly as Eike had- not impressed, obviously.
"You seem to know me well already Eike, or are you just reading my mind" she asked gazing around the room. "Are you going to secure those doors, or just leave us as bait for whatever might be out there. Security or other . . . Things as well?" Bunny replied moving to one of the computers, immediatley tapping into the system, her sonic screwdriver destroying various codes, and allowed her access to the main system.
"Just like dad... Sycorax... Why does this always happen. It's like a repeat of history"

Eike flirted with the shadows, not missing a hair. Making his way round the room, he one by one locked the doors so that the only way in was the secret entrance. "Right, the only way in is through there." He said, pointing to the open door. "If anyone wants to get us, they have to go through there." He joined her at the computer, "Sycorax, I remember them, their ship seemed like a meteorite, but it didn't burn up in the atmosphere. The Doctor saved both them and us, but the old PM decided that they were still a threat. So blasted them out of the sky." He bent over the screen as Bunny was and asked her "How come are they here?"

She remembered the story well. Prime Minister Harriet Jones, not taking any chances had blown the Sycorax's ship to smitherines, thanks to the Institute on Canary Wharf- Torchwood- a new laser they'd been working on. Final testing stage: Blowing up the Sycorax's only chance of escape. She knew they'd all been killed. She knew that Torchwoods device hadn't failed, yet..... How were they here?
Was something, or someone messing with time? History? Only one person could do that, and he back home at Powell Estate, probably snacking on Chips and having a nice cup of tea with his wife. He wasn't in his Tardis. She had that, so what exactly was going on?
The fact that Eike seemed to know exactly what had happened all those years ago, confused her a little but for now she let it rest.
"Do you mind?" she said rather cool-ly as she elbowed Eike gently- him leaning over the computer screen unnerved her. She'd always done this alone, and she had rather hoped it would stay that way for a while.. For now at least.
"Go do something usefull... Go venture through, find out if anything or anyone is out there- report back here to me if you like.... If you're not here in half an hour, I'll assume you dead" she said mildly as she continued to gaze at the complex computer screen.

"Well then," Eike said, faking enthusiasm, "That's a good attitude to have, and I'll be stuck on at the eve of another invasion by the Sycorax." He paused, digesting himself what he'd just said, "How did the Sycorax survive that blast? Were there more ships? What could have let them through time to here? If someone had done that, it must be by someone, not by chance, for them to end up here, No way." Eike moved over a desk and looked out the only open door. "Wonder how long it'll be before they notice that they can't get in?"

"Didn't I tell you to go bugger off and find something to do?" Bunny said again, rather mildly as she glanced breifly over her shoulder at Eike. Sure, in the future he was okay- but right now, she didn't have to like him that much.... Right?
"If I knew how the Sycorax had survived Torchwoods blast, I wouldn't be staring at this very complex screen now, would I Eike?" she added- her voice, sounding just a tad annoyed- as it does when someone becomes a tad impatient. "According to Captain Jack Harkness, in the 21st century, the rift, near Canery Wharf, no matter that at Torchwood Institute in london- where dad had closed the void was supposed to be sealed forever- somehow managed to open again, over Cardiff. Perhaps this Rift that Captain Jack explained- aliens comming through, alien junk falling through- expanded over all these years. Perhaps this rift between time and space, became so large that it extended to say.... Here?.... I know that dad was able to find his way back to mum, and I don't know the full story there- but perhaps that Void, somehow was re-opened. Perhaps the Rift is causing alot more trouble than we think.
It's quite possible that the Sycorax aren't the only things that are out there- ready to be found... But us, or the New New York government." Bunny said, head up as she gazed around the room, her eyes having lit up at hte thought of all the possibilities.
"This could be potentially very exciting, and very very dangerous at teh same time" she beamed, throwing her Sonic screwdriver into the air, catching it as it came back down.
"As for wether or not they're smart enough to notice that they can't get in
I'll give you 5 seconds to come up with a good idea to block that door"

Eike smiled contentedly, "You know, four hundred years of knowledge does come in handy every now and then, the doors are dead-locked, the only way they'll get in is by blasting in, and they wouldn't want to do that, now, would they, creating such a confusion on the eve of Guinevere II. They will simply try to find the quietest way in, which is through that door there," Eike said, pointing at the posh room again. "And again, they wouldn't want to burn that down, so they'll be coming very slowly, if they want to argue with weapons, I have a very capable one, if not, I will leave the politics to you." Eike wandered over to the remaining open door and placed what looked like a receiver on the 'close' button. Glancing down at his waist, he pulled out his weapon from it's holster and affixed another small button to the handle. Looking back round, he sighed, "Okay, we'll do it your way, they come in, they get shut out, but I don't want to rule out the opportunity to talk. These are, after all, men who's strength is words." He returned to his seat next to Bunny, watching the open door, leaning back and forth on the back legs.

"You know Eike, you're completely useless sometimes." Bunny replied with a small sigh as she tapped away on the keyboard, sorting through classifed file after file. "Why must you always resort to talk about your stupid weapons, and stuff. No wonder I picked you up, when you were trying to kill someone." Bunny sighed rather gruffly. "Please, get up and do something. Protecting us from those out there, does not happen from sitting on a chair with a freaking gun in your hand, get out there. Leave me to do my work, and bugger off for the last time Eike". With that, Bunny left her chair that was infront of the computer, and stood up moving towards the door. Tempted to unlock it, thanks to the sonic screwdriver, and get out there and actually see what was going on. That could be dangerous though- she may have to find another way to get out of here. "OKay, if you want to do something usefull Eike, I suggest you find me another way to get out of this room that doesn't require me going out that door and possibly getting myself killed".

Eike smiled contentedly, finding his way around places he'd never been was a speciality of his. "Right, lets go out this door first," He said confidently, taking the deadlock off of the steel armoured door to the right of the open one, he stepped into the hallway, looking left and right, he gestured to his right and smiled again, "This way." He called. Pulling a torch from his pocket and switching it on, he strode down the metal corridor.
