throw the grain across the river, the duck will go arcoss the river to the grain, then you take the fox in the boat.

jasmine and mackenzie, you cant answer this one.
It is a man (let's call him fred)'s birthday. For his birthday, his friends decide to get him a new boat. Since the lake he will probably be sailing on is famous for it's periods of dense fog, his friends also decide to get a compass, and screw it onto the boat. They give it to him for his birthday, and he decides to try it out. While he is out there, he is covered in a very dense fog and can't see anything. Luckily, he knows which way it is to shore, and he is counting on his compass to guide him there. But he still gets lost. Why??
