I don't really care if Jolteon is out-speeded anymore, I still love the little fuzzball. Jolteon plushieget. My boyfriend was gonna get one for me but I told him I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted. Nuuurrrr, I should have said YESGO.
Once I get a little more familiar with the rest of the new Pokemon, and like, um, proceed past the third gym, then maybe I'll have a better idea of what I want to do. xd

I don't know, I'm doing post game stuff and I'm still not sure how/if I want to assemble a competitive team. I'm still going through all the new pokemon to see if there is anything I really like. I might build a high Def. team to annoy people in Battle Tower though.
I'm liking breeding/berry farming/mining more than actual battles at this point. I didn't realize there was so much more new stuff in the Underground once you beat the Elite 4.

Mostly I read up on a lot of stuff on Smogon.com and their Diamond/Pearl forum (though their servers have been garbage lately). Usually best taken with a grain of salt since they can get biased over small differences in stat totals, but it helps to know what could be "ftw" over "n00b".

Anyone tried migrating yet? I just did it with a few choice emerald pokemon (catches, not my main team) like magnemite and the biggest, Latios.
On my way to catching a Magnemite, I actually encountered Latios purely by chance, and broke out my Master Ball. Latios get!
I'm definitely raising a Magnezone over my Luxray. I absolutely dislike him. I'm also working on Beldum and Rotom.
Anyone have a spare Ditto or a male Ralts? Spare dawn stones too?
I'm definitely planning on a Frolass and Gallade

Guh, I should probably finish FireRed. D: But I don't want to put Diamond down! Sob. I just finished the fourth gym, so yay progress?
So when you do the migrating thing, you just encounter them randomly in the wild? Are they as hard to catch as they are the first time around? And like, if I mess up and manage to not catch it, will it still appear later in the wild or can I do the migrating thing again?
Also, does the GBA cart have to be at a certain point too? Because yeah, if it has to be at a certain point then I'll probably have to finish FireRed. >_<

You will have to finish FireRed, but Pal Park (the place where you get the transfered Pokemon) is super easy. It's like the Safari Zone, but full of Master Ball-strength "Park Balls". Just remember to take a Surfer with you for the lake areas, but you can go out of the park to get one if you forget. You can migrate six Pokemon per twenty-four hours per game pak.

It's easier when people ask for what they want xd For Wolfy though, I had no clear idea what he wanted, but just went with items. So if you want some berries or items, you could specify a berry you want and trade.

It's because most of the stuff I actually need at this point are just berries and poffins and stuff like that. I think the only real pokemon I'm missing from the D/P list are Spiritomb and Dialga.
Also, yay another ditto.
Glaceon get! Man these Eevees take a long time to breed

What does everyone think of the reintroduction of retro pokemon through new evolutions?
I mean... eff'in Tangela? Tangrowth? Rhydon to Rhyperior?
It makes sense like maybe for Electabuzz to Electivire, but....
