"Asshats" Dredd scoffed, wondering how some people could be so dull-minded.He zomed about the place to build a little speed up, swerving about, doing a decent job. Because, as scary as it sounds, Dredd knew how to drive a car. that didn't help too much but he knew how to avoid cars and the like. He has ducsessfully caught up to Mizuki now, not ramming her from behind. " Dredd wins!" he announced in the third person. He was having a good time with this, being able to be childish. Even though nothing had stopped him from doing so before.

Mizuki sped off, but got stuck when someone swerved into her, slamming head on. "Guh!" She jolted forward against the strap that held her secure, and quickly tugged her hat back down upon her head. Then she backed up quickly and tried to zoom off again, when she was bumped from behind and jolted yet again. She twisted around in her seat, wrinkling her nose towards Dredd as he declared his victory. "Nu-uh!" she protested, but she was smiling. She spun the wheel to try to get back around to him, but someone slammed her side and put a stop to it.

Dredd was going to get another shot in unti lhe noticed that kid from before behind him."Huh?" he said, turning his head to see more join the child to ram him. "Aah!" Dredd shreiked. Seeing some gang of kids starting to follow him. Threre were about seven of them ganging up on him. "C'mon you carnie peice of crap! move faster!" he whined. One was bad enough to get hit with. Seven would be hell.Those times evading cops was nothing like this.

Mizuki was glaring at the person who'd slammed her, waiting for them to hurry up and move so she could start going again. But she looked up when she heard Dredd's shriek. She saw him, racing along and cursing his slow moving vehicle, with a gang of people following after him. For a second she just stared. Then, she narrowed her eyes slightly, trying to focus through her headache. She intended to lift up the car on the outside of the group, only an inch, slam it into the car beside it, and hopefully cause a domino effect and slow them all down. Or at least some of them.

Mizuki's plan worked, but not well enough, after the cars bumped each other they quickly regained their position. Dredd, ignoring the sweat that dripped into his , eas still speeding about. With little results the kids drew closer and closer. "All I did was stick out my tounge! what wrong with them?" he question, with no answer. Suddenly, there was a loud buzz sound and the carts started to slow to a halt, the rides over. "Dredd jerked forward, as his cart slammed to a stop, so did all the kids, whom forgot to buckle themselve in and flew out of their carts."Phew!" Dredd sighed with releif.

Mizuki frowned as she saw it didn't work quite as she had planned, and as she followed after them, someone swerved in front of her and she came to an abrupt halt as their cars smashed. Not like she would've been able to catch up anyway. She turned her head, following their progress around the track, when suddenly there was a buzzing noise and everyone stopped, several flying from their cars. She quickly untangled herself from the straps that held her in and jumped up, hurrying over towards Dredd, peering nervously at the gang that'd followed him. "What'd you do?" she asked quietly, wondering if he'd done something else that she'd failed to see.

" Well..." Dredd started, unbuckling and getting out of his cart first. "The little turd stuck out his touge and I just gave him his own medicine." Dredd explained. Though in fairness, Dredd probably had the weirdest bodypart in this entire school." Anyway lets go find someplace to eat now, I'm starving man." Dredd said, which was evident from his growling stomach. Dredd quickly exited the rink before the kids got back up and started chasing him or something.

Mizuki grinned lightly as she glanced back towards the rink at the kids, then back to Dredd. She understood that the kid'd be startled, but she didn't see why they'd felt the need to gang up and attack. Either way, hopefully it was overwith now. "Kay, me too," she nodded, patting her stomach. She hurried after him, glancing over her shoulder once more, unable to help herself. "What do you want?" she asked curiously, wondering the same question herself.

"I want food." was his immediate response. "What do they have round' here? I can't see too much snackwise." He said, he could see but he still had some sweat that he was rubbing out of his eyes. That and because off all the tall people around, he was a a height disadvantage. "But seriously, I'm feeling like pizza or something. Candy won't cut it for me ya' know?" he said, not too big a fan of cotton candy. ' I hate gum, when it pops it gets caught on my horns.' he thought once his mind drifted to candy.

Mizuki placed a hand to her head in what she hoped was a casual manner. A few random thoughts drifted to her, but she tried to ignore them and focus upon what Dredd was saying. But she was tryint to focus so hard, that she ended up getting his thoughts as well. Her eyes flicked towards his horns and lingered there for a moment. It gets stuck there? How? She wondered to herself briefly, trying to picture it in her head, then shrugged the thought away. "Well, yeah, there's pizza somewhere..." She looked around, frowning, then suddenly pointed. "There's a stand. They seemed to be selling french fries too. And right beside that stand, another sat with burgers and hotdogs. Of course, both sold drinks.

"Screw pizza, I'm getting chili cheese fries!" Dredd said upon seeing the fries. He walked right up to the fry vendor, already pulling money out of his pocket. "Chili cheese my man!" he ordered, forking over the exact amount of money. After a few moments he was handed a tray and they asked him if he wanted a drink. "I require Dew'." he said, lifting up an overturned hand and shaking it dramaticly. He then pain for that and got a decent portion of fies and a medium sized drink. He then waited for Mizuki to order while he scoped for a placeto sit.

Mizuki blinked, then grinned, shaking her head slightly. "Alright, screw pizza then," she shrugged. She followed after him towards the buildings, then stopped as she decided what to get. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Dredd placing his order, and ended up laughing to herself. Then she made her decision, going up to the burger stand. "Cherry coke and a cheeseburger, please," she ordered. They handed over the items, she handed over money, they provided change, and she wandered over towards Dredd.

"Alright, theres a bench over there I think...All of the table are taken and probably filthy anyway." He said once she got close enough to hear. He carefully walked over to the bench, not wanting to spill anything.Sitting down he took a sip of his soda. "Good stuff, taste's like the real stuff too so there's not much to worry about there. Because you never know about these places. How do I know that these fries aren't second rate. Huh? Huh!?"He said ...starting to yell at the fries. Then he ate one and said calmly. "Nope, these are good too."

Mizuki followed after Dredd, figuring he was probably right. People were pigs, and didn't seem to care much for cleaning up for whoever might eat after them. She sat down beside him, setting the cup of soda on her other side, and holding the burger in her hand. She peeled away part of the wrapper while listening to Dredd ramble, then suddenly stopped and looked at him when he started yelling. But a moment later, he'd eaten one and declared it good. She stared for a second, then suddenly burst out laughing, turning to gaze in the opposite direction. "Oh man..." she grinned to herself, after she'd regained her composure a bit. "Glad they gave you good fries." She smiled, then finally took a bite of her burger, finding it was pretty good too. She shifted slightly in her seat, her shoulder bumping Dredd's lightly. And abruptly, that strange feeling came over her yet again, and she felt her eyes widen, then froze up.

Dredd reached into the backet for a nother fry, and jsut as the fry got up to his mouth he stopped moving. Then, another memory from his past was sent to Mizuki, her perception once again becoming Dredd's.
This time, it was only a little bit shorter, and he seemed to be talking to the girl with purple hair again at around fourteen or fifteen from the look of the girl. They were sitting in what looked to be a makeshift living room, Dredd siting in a dusty recliner and the girl sitting on a footrest. . "You know, Its probably not a good idea to blow those up. Even if you do like the fire." She appeared to be scolding him. "Yeah but whats the fun in a propane tank if its just lying around!" He said exitedly, his heartbeat fast in rememberance of the noise and lights. They seemed a lot more exiting to him than most. "Ugh, your such a boy." The girl grunted." There's just no helping you is there Dredd?If I don't watch you you'll get into trouble. We aren't kids anymore, We won't be let off so easy. Which brings me to another subject."She said continueing to scold, then her face went a little nervous, like she was going to bring something slightly difficult up.
"Oh here we go. " Dredd mumbled, seeming to have an Idea what his freind was going to bring up. Unfortunately she heard him and got pissed, kicking him in the shin. " Don't give me that s**t! I'm worried about you! You know what they're having you do this time right? You could get killed Dredd!" She said, her anger starting to turn into a small desperation. " I'll be fine! I always come out okay, I'll be out of there before anything happens.We'l have pizza afterwards! My treat. You me And JD!" He said with seemingly endless confidence, trying coax her. She seemed to have gotten a hold of herself, and continues. " I've got a realy bad feeling OK?...Promise me something." She said, her worry visable in light grey eyes. Dredd blinked, then said with confidence unbreakable. " I'll be Fine! " " I don't care. Promise me something. " Her tone flat and her gaze directly into his eyes. " A- Alright, What. If its going to make you fe- " "Shut up for a damned second! " She almsot shouted, her anger returning.. " If something happens, you come right down to the art shop and wait and we'll bolt, got it?" She said, not letting him escape her gaze.
"I'll be fuh- " He started to say, she cut him off. "Promise Dredd. " There was a moment of silence. The ndredd said. "Slright, I promise. Now I gota go get ready, we're leaving soon y'know. " He said getting up and starting to leave, his mind racing, all sorts of emotions of fear and nervousness in his heart, now that he actualy had to go. "You'd better follow the Plan Dredd!" She yeled after him as he exited into another room, heading up to his room to get ready. One more thing was heard before everything faded. "I swear I'll ******** kill you if you don't come for me! "
Now as everything came back, Dredd, with a snap and crackle in his earsfinaly popped the Fry into his mouth."Huh? this was warm! What the hell!" he said, chewing then swallowing. "And this is great! it tastes purple!" he said, confusing the mental ftertase with the fries.
