Riyoku looked at a mirror on the other side of the room, then spotted a small piece of gravel next to it. She turned the knob on the rifle to tone down the magnitude of the beam, then suddenly ran up onto the wall. She gained just enough speed to reache the edge that met the ceiling, the pushed off in a backflip, shooting at the mirror with deadly accuracy. Riyoku silently landed on her feet in a 270 degree flip with all the stealth of a wildcat. The piece of gravel had broken apart at her shot.

"Nice.' said Ryoko as he watched X ricochet a beam off the mirror blowing up a rock. "Now lets see how good this beam cannon is. He put the handguns on the floor and took out the dissassembled cannon. It was basically in half, he put the two peices in place looked through the scope. Crosshairs locked on to seven targets. He squeezed the trigger. Seven beams shot out and destroyed the seven targets. "Oooooo."

"That'll be handy for preplanned maneuvers." Riyoku commented, making a mental note. The cannon was more effective than her Killstick model 5.7 . That was very good for a weapon of its type. "If we need to open seven laser locks at once, that will be very useful."

"Well someone will only get to use this when they pry it from my cold dead kung fu grip." Ryoko hugged the beam cannon and started dissassembling it. After he was done he put it back into his bag. "Either that or steal it. Now is there anything to do here?" he asked looking extremly bored.

"Train, work, live. That's what we have to do to survive. And at the moment, training is my first priority. That or creating a new stimulant." Riyoku sat crosslegged, polishing a gun.

"Oh. Anyplace to sleep?" Ryoko asked looking like he was about to fall asleep right there on the spot. 'I'm so tired. Probally because of all the gate opening I did. Whoo that stuff will wear a person out in a couple of minutes.' he thought.

"I dunno. I don't really sleep. I guess you could ask Tank. I doubt Ty will know where the rooms are either."

"Your joking, right?" he said. 'How can these people not sleep. I mean I doubt anyone could go two days with out sleep.' he thought.

"I cat nap. That's not sleeping. If I get tired, I turn on the auto scroll on my digital memo pad and sleep with my eyes open. There's too much to be done and no time for decent sleep."

Belg nodded with X's statement. "It's quite true, with all the work she does at the base, I'd be supsrised if she even got 6 hours of sleep."
Belg shrugged and looked to the weary recruit. "Oh, the beds are just down the hall, convenient for late-night training." He smirked boyishly. "But don't be long, we gotta get going if we're going to win this war."
Belg turned back to X. "So that's the plan, then? Divide up and go to Europe?" He folded his arms and sighed. "Well like I just said, we should get mving soon, then..."

"Ah forget it. I'll just stay awake. Have any coffee?" he asked Tank and X. 'Mabye coffee will help me stay awake. I mean coffee always kept me up before.' he thought.

"I'm almost finished with the TC 3-45. It holds two people and supplies. Two of us will go over seas, the other two will stay and defend the base with the rest of the base force. The main squads will beable to handle the clones if they cannot work out their gate. We have a sturdy arsenal and enough ammo to last a few years. No worries yet. Germany's hit the hardest. The whole west division is gone. We've lost a vital connection already, we can't afford that in east Germany."

Certified_Gangsta "Ah forget it. I'll just stay awake. Have any coffee?" he asked Tank and X. 'Mabye coffee will help me stay awake. I mean coffee always kept me up before.' he thought. "Not a good plan. Caffeine will cause massive headaches if taken excessively. That interferes with gate control. Losing control for even one second can result in instantaneous death. You have to be careful with how much coffee or caffinated drinks you take in. Half a cup is the maximum for a gatekeeper of your age."

"Ok. I just need something with caffine to keep me awake." he looked at the targets. 'This is easy because they aren't moving or shooting back. No those things killed my parents and too many of my friends. They must be destroyed no matter what.' he thought while he stared at the targets.

Belg shrugged and pointed to the sink where he had gotten the glass of water. "The machine is over there, help yourself."
He turned back to X again, nodding in agreement. "Indeed, that is no exageration. If we lose the west, then it'll only be a matter of time before they come here at full force." He shook his head, disapointed by the possible outcomes. "If we do lose the rest of Geramny, then I'll doubt we'll last long, even with our gating abilities and almost limitless ammo, I doubt we could suffice. And there's always the downside of my plan. If the clones get wise to us, if we send poeple over, and they pull back and re-deploy here, I doubt we could get back in time for it to matter..."
Belg shook his head again. "We mgiht have to develop a back-up plan."
