Sakura sighed. "Walking will get me nowhere, I'll have to run at this rate." Haulting her pace completely, she decided to take a chance. "Just run to the gates, if you see nothing give it up." She whispered to herself, unsure of what would lie ahead.
Bolting off, she let her chakra flow to the souls of her feet and around her legs so they wouldn't hurt as she ran. Feeling a fast breeze she had caused in her hair gave her a small since of worry.

Deidara's eye widened slightly at the Uchiha's reply. It certainly wasn't something the man would usually say, and the first thought was that someone had got to him, and drugged him.
The thought was pushed away. Itachi was smarter than to let himself get drugged.
But it was something new to the blonde, that Uchiha Itachi showed any emotion besides boredom...if that was even a feeling.
He glanced back to the town they had just left, and tilted his head a bit. Oh, right, Itachi had murdered his clan here...Deidara had forgotten that for a moment.
He turned his back, and got himself ready to leave the country. It was no longer safe here. He wasn't surprised if the Hokage was already sending out ANBU to find them.
"Well, it's harder for people to trust you after that time, yeah."
He had said it softly, but surely. Half of him pitied this man. This Itachi that seemed like he had not just a mind, but a body with a heart.
But Itachi was still Itachi. Cold, strong, no emotions Itachi.
He glanced at Itachi once more, and when he decided that he couldn't read even the hints of emotion Itachi had shown, he turned back to the gates.
He had never wanted to leave the town so soon in the first place, but he didn't want to move more now.
He sighed. "It's the life of a criminal, eh?...Yeah," he whispered.
He looked at Itachi once more. "Should we leave now, or do you want to go back in?...They're on to us by now, though, yeah."

Emotions? Yes, that most certainly was something...different for the Uchiha who had killed his clan, his best friend, all for power. But it was like being flooded with memories, being awoken from an everlasting dream.
Something strange happened when Deidara spoke. Itachi's vision was blurred more than usual. 'It's unfair...life...everything.' he thought, breathing a rattling breath. "Yes, well, challenges come with difficulty, and that's all I've ever wanted."
Itachi's voice was cold again, hard and cruel, as he glared towards Deidara.

Sakura continued her pace until the gate came into few. Good thing Yumi-neechan isn't here. She sighed mentally. Maybe I can trick Deidara-san into thinking he forgot something so I can ask him a few questions...
Stopping a few feet from the gate, she cupped her hands around her mouth so her voice would echo as she shouted, "Deidara-san, what are you doing?...And why is Yumi-neechan chasing you!?"

Itachi shot a hard glare at Deidara, before turning around to look at Sakura. Yes...that was the girl. The one who had once been teammates with his brother. Strange, how things had changed.

Deidara tried not to show any hints of suprise as Itachi had his 'moment'. He was a little afraid that if he DID, Itachi wouldn't be very polite to him afterwards.
He caught Itachi's first glare, and frowned. He wasn't sure exactly how else to react, so he didn't do anything else.
He DID, however, look surprised when Sakura's voice called out for him.
He recieved Itachi's second glare, a lot worse than the first one. This made Deidara almost flinch.
With a "Hehe...I'll take care of that," he quickly ran over to the girl.
When he got there, he gave her an 'are you NUTS?!' look.
"Sakura-chan! PLEASE don't yell out my name like that! I'm already in big enough trouble!" he pleaded.

Itachi watched the two curiously. He supposed that Deidara must have been talking to Sakura, and decided, with a weak sigh, to follow him. "Deidara..." he said quietly, once he had reached his shoulder. "Introduce me."
He knew this was a bad idea. A very bad idea. Of course, Sakura knew about Itachi, and how he had killed his clan. But he had the urge to just see her expression of shock, and watch her stare in absolute pain as she realized that these two people were not exactly her friends.
"SAKURA-CHAN!" came a sudden yell. Fury, fright, and relief clouded Yumi's voice as she ran forwards to protect Sakura. "What are you doing?!" she yelled at her, exasperated, though her eyes were still filled with fear. "Do you have any idea...?" But she didn't finish her question. It was obvious Sakura didn't know who these two were.

Sakura gave Deidara a weird look in return. "What's going on, Deidara-san?" She was so confused by this point that she wasn't even sure she knew who she was.
When the other, slightly older, looking man walked up beside the blonde she looked a him quickly before hearing her name called, turning to see her sister she sighed. "Yumi-neechan, Deidara-san is my friend, but I don't exactly know who this other man is yet. He hasn't told me his name." She stated matter-of-factingly, noticing her sister's look she wondered what was the matter.

Deidara huffed. He turned quickly to Itachi, and gave him a glare.
He was NUTS. Introducing himself was bad enough, and to introduce ITACHI would make the matter a jillion times worse.
But, Itachi wouldn't have suggested it if he didn't have a plan.
"You'd BETTER have a plan after this, yeah," he warned.
With an exasperated sigh, Deidara eyed Sakura, then her sister, then Sakura again.
"That's Uchiha Itachi, yeah. You know his little brother, or so I've heard, yeah."
Then he immediately went on guard.

Yumi pushed her younger sister backwards, glaring hard at the two criminals. "Well, I suppose this is like killing two birds with one stone..." she said quietly, staring at them, her heart thudding against her chest. She was trying so hard to act strong, yet she knew, if a fight started, she wouldn't stand a chance against Itachi's illusionary techniques, or even Deidara...This was something she hadn't planned.
"Yes...I'm sure you've heard of us, Yumi-san...And Sakura-san as well. I think I may have met her once or twice." said Itachi, his voice calm. Deidara trusted him too much...He truthfully, for one of the first times in his life, had no idea what he could do.
"Dammit...You leave her alone! You leave us all alone! I'm not stupid!" Yumi snarled quietly, still on guard. "Kazekage-sama warned me...both of you..."

Sakura's eyes grew wide at the name. "Th-that b*****d!" She nearly shouted when Deidara said the name. Feeling herself be pulled away from her, some-what, friend she sighed. "Yumi-neechan, Deidara-san is nice, really. He couldn't possibly be friends with...With such a man!" She hissed, pulling out a single kunai. Yumi-neechan may be strong, but she doesn't know my capability. Not that I can beat this man, but I can try. She closed her eyes for barely a second, trying to contemplate a plan.

"SHUT UP, SAKURA!" Yumi yelled at her sister, tears stinging her eyes. "I didn't come back here to watch you die!"
Itachi took a step forwards. "Believe what you want, Sakura-san..." he said, his voice shaking a bit. "But you should listen to your sister. Smart girl...At least she knows that I won't hesitate to kill." The way he said it, so bluntly, made Yumi stagger backwards, breathing heavier.
"I won't let you hurt her." Yumi snarled, regaining her posture. "Sakura, you really...don't stay here. I'm sorry. They're both the same...people are fakes. I won't stand and watch you die..."
Itachi shot a look at Deidara. "I don't want to fight." he said dully, as if annoyed that Yumi was getting so worked up.
"If you attack...I'll kill you both. I really just wanted to see the girl's reaction. Exactly how I suspected...As if judging by appearances...While knowing everything." His words were a puzzle, but at the same time...the truth, in a way.
"Come, Deidara...let's go. We shouldn't be here in the first place." And with that, Itachi turned his back on the ANBU and her younger sister, in quite the mood to leave.
OoC|| Who exactly is playing Ino? Because I'd like to know...I've noticed she hasn't really entered the role-play yet, and I have this fetish for wanting to be her...xD Teehee...Just wondering. ninja

(Ooc: Um...Trusty is. sweatdrop I guess if people vote that you can take her over it'll be fine, but I'm not choosing if you can or can't. -.-;]
Sakura growled softly. "Are you saying I don't know how to tell who somebody is!?" She clenched her fists, annoyed. "You're one to talk, leaving me when I was just a child and barely knew you! Deidara-san is a nice person, there is no way you can fake the kindness he showed me and if he is a villian at least he isn't some b*****d the killed his family and ruined his brother's life!" The last part she shouted in Itachi's direction. Sneering at her sister for a moment, she turned her back to the three, obviously angered by how her sister had acted.

Yumi watched her sister's back and sighed. "Please...Sakura. I thought after what happened with Sasuke-san...That perhaps you'd understand. When you think you know someone...they often turn out to not be what you expected. Trust is not something that can easily be obtained...Please, don't set your future on a first impression." She reached out and grabbed her sister's shoulder, squeezing, tears blurring the pink hair. "Believe me, though...I'm sorry."

Sakura sighed, "Yumi-neechan, I knew Sasuke-kun wasn't really safe from his own thoughts about him," She tilted her head towards Itachi, emphasising the last word. "Still, he was a commrade until he was consumed by the need of power, don't you think?" She smiled softly, "Deidara-san is probably the nicest person I've met in a while."
