I do that. 3nodding If they have anything good, I'll stick a Thief in there. And if they have something that will affect the battle, I'll change my equipment accordingly. And alter the laws to my advantage.

I thought you did! I mean, I know I don't know you very well but I've always gotten the feeling that you're a smart lady. And yeah, that's always a good strategy. Did you know that the best law card to have around for the mission "Present Day" is the "Blades" law (the one forbidding the use of all blades)? I didn't have that one but, by a mere coincidence, I happened to enter bervenia palace when that law was in effect. 3 opponents had that kind of weapon so I lucked out. Ha-ha! mrgreen Oh and, just so everyone knows, the moogle with the pearl blade can equip a materia blade if you keep stealing his blades. 3nodding

Lady...? o.O If I remember correctly, I'm younger than you. XD Present Day was probably THE hardest mission of all when I played. For an entire year (in real life) I stayed away from Bernieva Palace. Of course, it was torture that there was treasure there... >.< Stupid present day. So when I stomped in there a year later, I was so strong I kicked major butt. But stealing was outlawed, and I didn't use law cards back then, sooo...yeah. I was weird, I didn't want to use lawcards or steal because I considered them wrong morally. And now I'm like, I wouldn't do that in real life, so it's fine if I do it here since it's just a game. I have some weird ways of thiking sometimes.

Oh I'm sorry, you are a smart "young" lady then. sweatdrop
But wow! So moraly strong... Anyone should be glad to have you as a friend. But you know, I may do stuff in games that are not exactly moral but, I don't do them in real life. Stealing may be fun in a game but, I don't condone it IRL. Well, not only that, but a lot of other things. Anyone who has played any of the Grand Theft Auto games should know what I mean... 3nodding

Well, at least you had it easy. I only had it easy cuz the laws were on my side. I don't remember having an easy time the very first time I did the "Present Day" mission. rolleyes

Thanks hypnocrown, but I don't think I deserve all those compliments.
The first time I tried Present Day, I got killed before I even made it to Llednar. I discovered something too, actually my friend pointed it out. I'm actually really good at games because my characters always seem underleveled, but I always seem to win. He said that that was because I over-used items and abilities and wasn't afraid to sped game money on them. So for strategy games like FFTA and Fire Emblem, that doesn't always work; as I discovered attempting Present Day. >.<

You know, I think I'm like you when it comes to that; relying on items and/or abilities in games I mean... I always have a tough time in a game if I can't replenish my character's health. That's why I hated the first Zeldas (NES) as well as some other games... rolleyes

That's one of the reasons I have so many problems with the Zelda games in general. It's so hard to replenish your Hearts. scream

Really? I guess that's true at first. Once you get the bottles it's smooth sailing ahead. At least it was for me in Ocarina of time and a link to the past. 3nodding Guess what? I found a map of the first Zelda and I decided to try it with the aid of the map. I managed to find more stuff than I bargained for and I even got to get all 20 hearts, as well as almost all the treasures (the last 2 I'm missing are in the 9th dungeon which I'm at right now). Cool, huh? I never wanted to admit it but, this game ain't so bad with a good map by yer side. Gee, maybe we should start a Zelda thread and take this dicussion there, he-he. sweatdrop

Can't make up yer mind, eh? That's ok. All those races are great anyway. If you ever choose one though, make sure to come back and post about it. 3nodding

What level is he at? Cuz I got a Nu Mou at lv 50 who can deal between 175 - 220 when he uses Giga Flare, and between 600 - 800 when using his Ultima Blow. It depends on how high the opponent's magic defense is. mrgreen

Does he really? All my Nu Mou magic users (as that is all they pretty well are) do only 60 - 100 dmg. Though they are on rather low levels.
