*shrug* I'm either way, the drought-related consolidation to make the tithes easier for the pansy Holders might work...
The gas pockets would bring in Watch Whers though. I'd so love to try my hand at Wher Handling. *pokes Nubec, who is miserable at HHall at the moment, completely lost in the metaphorical sense*

I've been thinking about your plans for combineing Benden and Fort, and shortening the Rps to one rp-week per day... And I thought, well maybe the Weyrwoman/Weyrleader could summerize all that happened for that rp-week and rap it up so we all know what to post next.
Maybe either have a seperate thread for summary perposes, or post directly in the Weyr.
Just offering an opinion... 3nodding

My opinion: I'm not so sure about the "everyone gets their own weyr thread" plan. That'll get really confusing and hard to monitor, not to mention it'll clutter up the forum. And they're not all that necessary...

And they're not all that necessary... It could be optional, I guess... But it'd be kinda like you could go visit friends in their weyrs and stuff... *shrugs*

And they're not all that necessary... It could be, but at the same time, if a person wants to RP in their weyr with only a few friends, or if they just want to make a status-report of some sort. It's a good way to see who's active if they're required to post in their personal Weyr "regularly." It'd be so much easier if guilds had Subforums... sweatdrop About all there would be to monitor though, is to see when they most recently posted in it ... though I agree, it would definitely get unwieldy when the population gets huge. I suppose we could optionally have a "Roll Call" thread for that, so that we know people are looking in. whee

Role call sounds fun! It sounds so military-ish, and its totally pernese standard procedure... Mostly because they have a military bass to dragonrider tradition and the like.
Course I could be entirely wrong, I just took that from what I read/noticed in Dragonflight.

*had way too much fun with the NPC list* ^.^ Hmm... what should we do with the characters who haven't shown up in forever. Like those from Benden's first Hatching that haven't been around? Should we demote them to NPCs or wait a while longer or what?

I'd say send out a notice... And if you don't hear from them in within a week, demote then to npc status. If they some how show up after that week, you can always cancel the demotion can't you?
