Facial features stern and serious, Jocelyn surveyed the damage and carnage that surrounded her. By the looks of the lair, the majority of the younger generation fell to the demons. Those less than a century or two old were unfortunate in the way of gaining abilities, since many humans of the present were apathetic. The poor wretches had no way to defend themselves besides the strength increase and other abilites specifically attributed to the vampires. However, the elder Drakulus were a bit scuffed, but otherwise fine in spite of the confused looks on their faces.
So many of us gone in such a short time... she thought gently, despite her hard expression.
Several of the elders were gathering towards her, looking for guidance and answers.
Kaitlyn, tall and blonde with a disturbed look in her deep blue eyes found her first. "Lady Jocelyn, what happened? Those dark creatures give me a very bad vibe... and I don't think we've seen the last of them..."
As more arrived, more mumbled their agreement. After she felt that all had assembled that were left or able, she began to speak.
"My brothers and sisters... Earlier this evening whilst attending the called meeting, we were entertained by a human holy man, if you will. He brought very disturbing news about the Kings of Hell, and attempts of some unseen force working to free them. I was not expecting to see the consequences of this matter so soon, and was not adequetely prepared, and I have failed you all." She paused, bowing her head in reverence for the fallen.
It was then when the human, Paul, barged in on their nest.
"Drakulus! This is The Church Hunter, Paul! I am here to aid you in any way I can!" He shouted out into the echoing corridors.
Lifting her head, she strode forward to meet him, beckoning for her clan to follow her. Once she was within and few feet, she began, "Do you know of one who would call himself Maximus?"

Paul's eye quirked and for the first time a small symbolance of fear resided in his eyes.
"Maximus? Maximus Antarius? If he did this then he was only playing with you. He is no demon but a very powerful infernalist. The Hell Kings are a thousand times worse that what he could do but he still has his soul." He looked down and around at the carnage, "None of these vampires are dead. There is life to each piece of the masacare on this floor."
He turns from them, pondering, "For now I think you all should go to the grengel clan hall. Considering the circumstances, me and my partner will be able to protect you all with much more ease if you were all in one area." He turns back, "When it is night again, I want you all to go to their clan hall. I will go there now and deliver the news of your coming. Bring all that you may require."
"I think this little hunt is escalading into a holy war." He said to himself, turning to leave for the Grengel sanctuary

Jocelyn paid special attention to the flicker of emotion across the man's eyes that normally were calm and collected. He knew something to which she was painfully ignorant. Past being angry at herself, she stood rigid as stone, pale eyes glittering like forbidden diamonds, listening.
No demon, but an infernalist. The Hell Kings hold more power, yet this Maximus retains his soul. How? She did not know. She was far out of her field of knowledge. She may be the oldest of her clan, yet she was by far the youngest of the leaders. Each of them held many years of wisdom that which she was bereft.
Quietly she nodded to his advice to move to the Grengel Clan. "I thank you for your council, by nightfall we will be ready," she said gravely, glancing to each of her clansfolk before beginning again, voicing the question they all shared. "Please, could you tell us of their fate...?" she trailed off, gesturing to her fallen bretheren.

"Each part of their body is marked now by the wicked spirits. It would be best to douse holy water over them. You may not know it yet but they will soon become wicked spirits themselves and add to Maximus's ranks." Paul said just as he went outside in a hurry, "I'm sorry I will speak to all of you at our next meeting which will be tonight!"
((Unless someone wants to add lets cut to nightfall now.))

Nodding, she turned back to her clan and looked to each of them in turn. "Gather your things you absolutely need for this trip to the Grengel clan hall. We leave in one hour," she said shortly, not waiting to have them crowd her and bombard her with questions.
((Cut to nightfall is fine by me ^^, sorry I've been gone, season's been much busier than normal.))

Navashen waited quietly though something was itching him terribly. He could not put his finger on it, but something was bothering him. It was as if something bad was going to happen and the Lord was giving him a sign.
Something was near. Something evil. Its energy was so very close he could actually feel it. A creature had come to challenge him?
""That's fine with me." he thought, "I've been wanting to hit something all this time anyway."
Navashen lifted his weapon spun around. He thrusted his blade forward where he felt the energy strongest but quickly stopped. Sitting there on the wall with no fear on her face was a young woman. She looked at the tip of te blade as if it were a boring child's plaything. She then looked at him and said, "So you've just been standing out here then?"
She could see his confused face become and angry one. He had seen the fangs on her teeth. They weren't as big as some vampires, but bigger than the average human. Yes this was indeed a grengel.
"What do you want?" he rudely replied.
"Gee I dunno I just LIVE here and all. I was wondering you were still around here. Aren't you supposed to be checking our compounds or something?" she was calm even with a holy weapon close to her neck.
Navashen eyed the vampire then lowered his weapon. She wasn't going to attack, that seemed clear, "Not until Paul returns."
"Oh yes Paul, right. Poor puppy can't even take a wiz without his master's permission, aye?"
Navashen narrowed his eyes at the girl. He didn't appreciate that comment but she only stared, as if she had no clue what an insult really was. Navashen glared before he spat, "What is it you want?"
"I just-" she paused then looked up, like a wolf startled in the night. The skin between her eyes furrowed as her face went from inquisitive to serious. Something was up. Without a word the girl jump from her place on the wall and sprouted brown leathery wings, fur and pointed snout. The large bat flew away towards the grengel compound without looking back to Navashen.
The hunter looked back towards where the girl had glued her eyes to. What was out there? What was coming?
The bat flew through an open window and transformed to her regular form. "What in world was that I felt?" Quilue paced in her room. It was so large it couldn't have been one vampire. "What if it were several... coming here..." was another clan coming for attack? "I have to inform Nahala." and with those last words she was out of her room and down the halls searching for the grengel leader.

Paul stopped in the street. The cold ran quickly up his spine, the chill of unnatural fear. He narrowed his eyes, ever couragous for he knew his Lord would protect him from all the lances and swords and arrows of the dark abyss of Hell. He straightened and turned to see what had appeareth behind him. It was a prince. He could feel his strength radiating off of his bare body like it was a stinging hot beam from the sun. He looked and upon the man's chest was tattooed his seal.

"Amon." Paul said with a glare, standing even prouder as he felt the gate of heaven open above him, the angels of war and of the plagues were ready to protect him.
"I see someone has been busy summoning while the church diverted their gaze, here." Paul unsheathed his sword.
"The prophecy." Amon spoke deeply, Paul's mind was almost mislead by his hellishly charismatic voice.
Paul stepped forward slashing at the demon.
There was a cry that echoed throughout the entire city, carried on the backs of messenger angels. The angels flew quickly through the streets - their form visable even to those who did not believe. They were like glimpses of the sun. There was a loud boom from around the corner from the Grengel sanctuary and Paul's body burst through a side of a building and rolled to a stop at Nevashen's feet. The armor and weapons God had given him when he prayed his prayer were still on him. Paul stood up and glared at the lumbering figure of Amon slowly coming towards them. Amon had the body of a man and the head of a Hawk.
"Naveshen. Protect the Vampires. They can not fight him. Fight him only if I fall." Paul ran quickly towards Amon, his sword raised high.

Fanya slowly openned her eyes. Darkness reigned around her. She lay still, waiting, calmly enjoying the stillness. Slowly the lid to her sarcophagus slid off, allowing her freedom into the night air. She rose, stepping from her ghoulish bed and glanced around her room. She straightenned her clothing, moving toward her closet to change. Her clothes had grow rather tattered the night before, due to events. A long sleeved turtle necked shirt, form fitting, and a pair of flowing black pants completed her main wardrobe. Her jacket she kept, unwilling to change it for a different one. She was rather attached to it anyway. Her boots remained as well.
Stepping out of her chambers she came face to face with Aldo. Apparently, he'd been waiting for some time.
"The vampires have been summoned to the Grengal halls," He stated flatly.
"The Hunter Paul has expressed this?" Fanya watched him calmly as he nodded. "Then gather the clan. We move immediately."
Slowly, in small groups, the smallest clan left their confines and moved through the streets, none stopping to feed unless they required it, having reached the end of their span. As they moved through the streets of the city, the angels appeared. Aldo, Melissa, Richard and Fanya travelled together. As they shot through the city, all four ducked away from them.
"We must hurry," Fanya crouched down then lunged forward toward where the angels flew. If she didn't know where the Grengal hall rested, the angels would certainly lead her to Paul, at the very least. She stayed to the edges of the roads, keeping as far from the angels as possible. Aldo and Melissa ran immediately behind her, Richard behind them. The other Fitholos also made their way through the streets, some more slowly, others as fast as their leader.

Keeping her stern demeanor, she worked to keep her rather indulgent clan from taking the whole mansion with them on their journey. No matter how many times she told them to bring only the necessities, they always found useless item that just had to be brought along, more often than not cumbersome and heavy.
"Leave these burdens, or so leave your life!" she finally exploded on one elder man, who was trying to convince her that he must has his piano.
Jocelyn gestured at those that lay dead, then spoke to the man, "Do you wish to accompany them? We have very little time to travel from here before they re-awaken to destory us all. Leave the piano," she told him with finality, before storming off to reason with another materialist who was determined to bring a portrait of his extended family.

Navashen was taken back by Paul's words. Protect them? But who is this? How could Paul even ask Navashen to do such a task? It was like asking a mongoose to take care of a cobra. Besides it was obvious who really needed help.
"They do not need protection! You need me!" he ran in the same direction as his master. He would find out who dared challenged Paul after they defeated him.

The hawklike eyes of the bare man flashed over to Navashen, "You wish to fight me too, brittle one?" His very voice caused the plants around him to wither, paper and articles of clothing burst into flames. His utter power was so much that his very voice shook a man who was watching from an alley corner to fall to his knees as his mind welcomed insanity.
Paul, gaurded by God's hand as well as Navashen felt only the sonicboom like wave rush over them. Navashen started to see glints of light on paul - These glints of light, if examined closely, could be made out to be an entire suit of armor, complete with a sword and shield.
Paul turned to Navashen, "Navashen! The vampires can not be protected by God yet! I need you to stay and gaurd the entrance to the sanctuary! Please! As your elder I urge you to go back and protect them!"
Amon stepped forward reeled back a fist as Paul spoke and sent the closed ball of iron into his gut. There was a flash of light - Navashen could make out winged figures holding out their hands to where the demon struck. Paul was uneffected and turned to look at the huge demon. He glared.
"By the power of the Lord Almighty, God sends this!" Paul lifted his arms up, and closed his eyes.
Five angels - wings beating with the amazing flame of God - fell from the clouds and slammed into the demon. A massive explosion took place and everything around the area was turned to dust. Except a perfect circle around Paul's feet, his arms still held high and his eyes still closed. He opened his blue eyes with a smile and lowered his exalting arms. He stepped down into the crator where Amon was at his knees, open wounds that did not bleed covered his body. Paul looked down on the demon, God peering through his eyes.
Amon looked up and there was a great echo in the city that made everything almost feel like they had died and had been brought back.
LEAVE!
Amon's body fell and bubbled into a sickly green puddle of mass, the earth absorbing.

Navashen faltered at Amon's unnatural voice and hesitated still at the order of his elder. As much as he hated the idea he knew he couldn't disobey Paul, but his body wouldn't allow him movement. The mere sound of the wretched creature, Amon, had stopped him cold. He stood there, helpless, while Paul charged forth with no fear in his heart whatsoever.
Navashen watched Paul lift his hands and summon the divine beings for help. It was something he had never been so fortunate to witness; the angels dove from the heavens leaving a trail of blinding fire until they rammed straight into Paul's opponent. The earth was lifted and and a great cloud of dust rushed towards him. The force of their power reeled Navashen back. it was the push he needed to get to the grengel compound and do as his master told him, no matter how much it hurt to feel as if he had failed Paul.

Paul moved from the scarred earth and came to the Grengel sanctuary. He put his hand on Navashe's shoulder and looked at him concernedly,
"Are you alright? Are you hurt? Do you hear any voices - whispers or anything?"
There wasn't even a trace of disapointment in his eyes, just his bortherly-like concern for Navashen.

Navashen stared at Paul, startled by his unseen hand. He did not look angry. Not even after Navashen deliberately tried to disobey his orders.
"I-I am fine. No, I hear no voices." he answered as he looked Paul over, checking for any wounds, "Who or what was that? Did you defeat him? Is he working with another clan? Is he part of the group of hellish summoners?" Navashen was asking a mile a minute as if there was so little time left in the world. For all he knew there was.

"Good, good.." Paul said as Navashen answered his questions. Nodding.
Then Navashen began his own flurry of questions, he began laughing and patted Navashen on the shoulders, "Now now.. Slow down, slow down.. That was an earle of hell, Amon. I did not defeat him - Oh no. No mortal man could. It was God who sent that beast back into the emptiness of the abyss. The only clan he works for is the Order of Hell. I am assuming he was called here by the summoners but no he does not work FOR them. It is the summoners who are under him." There was still a smile on his face - Navashen's panic seemed almost unnecessary.
