As they entered the control room Maki shifted and asked to be set down.
"I think I can walk, I have new strength," she said with a frown. "She sacrificed herself so that we could become one."

Setting Maki down Zetsuei looked at her
"Maki if you and her are one now she really didnt sacrifice herself....she still lives on through you"
He said as he sat down in the control chair

Maki frowned and hugged herself as she sat in her chair.
"Yes I suppose you're right," she said as she sat down she looked out the control room window and sighed. 'I wish Shinja was here.' "Where are we heading next?"

Fira sat down on the floor next to Maki with her legs crossed as she looked up at the both of them, "We were head down to Dorin Metropolis to find you, but now that we found you could continue on there or go somewhere else."

Pulling up the map of new gaia, Zetsuei looked to see where they should go next.
"Should we go back to Avardia Maki to help uncover some more of your fathers secrets that may help us defeat the manifestation"

"No. Please don't take me there. The source of the darkness is buried there, that is where the darkness was taking me when it learned it can not tolerate extreme temperatures," Maki said. "I think I heard you mentioned the temple of the phoenix? Or was I hearing things? Let's try there before it stirs and wakes up. Even with my soul complete I am not strong enough to fend it off myself."
Maki looked around, "Where is Tenshin?"

"Alright, we wills till search for the temple of the phoenix. As for tenshin I do not know. I havent seen him for some time."

Maki nodded her head. "He's probably still upset at losing his father. He'll show up when he's done brooding."
Looking down she got up from her chair and reached her hand out.
"Fira? What is the temple of the phoenix?"

Fira stood with the help of Mika and when she did all she could do was shrug as she she answered her question, "To be honest, I really don't know." She smiled slightly even though it was easy to tell in her eyes that slightly upset that she didn't know any more than what she would tell them, "You'd think someone who has a temple named after their species would know, but I've been born so many times that even though I get the feeling I've been there before, I've forgotten all about it. If it helps I'll try even harder to search for a drawing in my sketch book."
The phoenix then looked more concern for Maki, "Are you still cold? If you want I could go make you something warm to eat."

Maki smiled at Fira, greatful of her kindness.
"That would be great," she said then coughed a little. "Sorry. My lungs hurt a bit from the water."

As Ellesar drew closer to the city, the snowfall seemed to intensy.
"At this rate I'll never get to the city."
"Must be nice to have money.", as a ship passes by. His stomach growls as he feels his empty money pouch.
"I have to find some kiind of work soon otherwise I'll die of hunger.
He takes a few more steps forward before doubling over in pain.
"I hope that city is close by."
Suddenly, the snow slows as he stands. He looks up and blinks.
"I can't believe I'm this close," he says, as he shakes his head wandering closer to the city.
As he draws closer to the city, the snow stops and he starts getting warmer. "Ah finally. The cold was getting to be a bit too much."
He stops for a brief moment and thinks to himself, I wonder if they'll be as accepting as every other town. Knowing my luck, I'll be thrown out shortly after enough people find me. As he shakes his head briefly, he begins to wander the city, trying his best to stay out of sight of the local residents.

"Oh," Fira sighed after Maki coughed before she smiled slightly, "Well just hold the feather that I gave you. With in a few minutes it will start to warm you in not time if your still very cold while we wait for our food to cook."
With that Fira began to walk out of the control room, but stopped and turned around as she asked both of them, "What would you guys like to eat?"

"Anything you wish to make Fira," Maki said smiling. "As long as it isn't fish."
With that Maki giggled...but soon coughed again.

Looks like I found the local bar. he thinks to himself as he finds a building that has plenty of traffic. He wanders into the building and sits down as far away from the bar as he watchs the crowd.
"Can I get you something Sir?" asks the barmaid.
Ellesar just shakes his head and watchs as the woman walks away. I wonder how long it's to take now.
"Hey buddy. That's my seat," said one of locals that had just recently come in.
And now the trouble starts."My apologies. I'll move."
As he stands to move out to the guy's way, he accidentally bumps into the barmaid from earlier, knocking her over. He clenchs his teeth as he hears the sound of the woman hitting the floor as well as the sound of breaking glass. He looks at the barkeep who is standing there shaking his head.
"You know you have to pay for that," the barkeep states as Ellesar cringes, "and judging from the looks of you, you have no money." The barkeep frowns and notices the sword at Ellesar's side. "Maybe you can repay if you can win a round at the monster arena, that is if you can survive like the last guy," the barkeep states with a smirk. "You two go with him and make sure he doesn't try to skip town."
"Ok. What have I gotten myself into this time..." Ellesar follows the two "guards" that have been assigned to him to the arena.
(Can somebody pick something for him to fight?)
