After the display she put upon, the threat and all, he was none to phased, after all threats as these did not effect him like it would a normal person. He was not quite afraid of his Kage, he merely listened to her out of pure unadulterated loyalty, there was nothing more to his strict obidience. However as time went by and his Kage found herself in the shower, something prickled down his spine, it caused every fiber of his being to flare. Something fiery awoke at the sense of a presence within the room, his Kage was not alone in her shower, no not alone at all. The fun was going to end much, much sooner then Chouhan may have liked, suddenly without warning Hageshii stood fully clothed in the shower the warm water wetting his clothes. However long steely hands, wrapped tightly with incredible malice around the neck of he whom would dare defile his Kage.
"You picked a very, very...Bad time..."
The black porcelin mask wicked like that of a snake's face stared up upon he whom would dare defile the space of the Arashikage, this man was facing certain death. The jade eyes underneath the mask slitted in a fake rage, since he felt no true emotion his mentality picked out the emotion of rage to fit the situation. However the fake emotion was not played upon his features other then through the incredibly tight grip around the man's unsuspecting neck. Hageshii after all was a Anbu class shinobi and this man was but only an Academy Student level nin, the match was not in the man's favor. His dark mask and clothing betrayed a sense of pure evil radiating from him, however that could be attributed to something else entirely.
"Arashikage-sama...I apologize for my intrusion, I felt someone was with you and indeed there is...How would you like his remains displayed?"
He asked her a question without flinching, something a even a bandit would have trouble stomaching the thought of, displaying his remains in a certain way? Quite a disturbing thoughts to those whom did not, like Hageshii, feel nothing at all on the subject, those with remorse and fear, as well as guilt would have a hard time with such a thing. Hageshii however had no problem removing this man's bodily organs and fluids and putting them on display for all to be reminded of the price one pays.

Chouhan grinned impishly even at the sight of impending doom. He hicced once as he wavered slightly from his perch. Damn, special fun was over and he hadn't even started taking notes yet.
"My dear friend, it's only ever a bad time with you on days that end with 'Y' and 'bi'* so what does it matter what time I picked? By the way, if you would be so kind as to get that training staff of mine out of your a** and back to me some day soon, I'd be very grateful." He remarked, waving at Hageshii nonchalantly before looking "up" at Nayami and blowing her a drunk kiss. "Until next time, Nayami-sama!" He crowed gleefully before bursting into a puff of smoke. Three Aces and two eights fluttered to the ground in place of the gambler. Though, the sake jug had been real so it dropped and smashed on the ground just outside Nayami's shower.
The real Chouhan had returned to the village, expecting Hageshii to be hunting for him very soon. He sighed as he shook his hand like there was still sake. "I hope that clone got to give Nayami-sama that marination. I'm sure someone will be more than happy to 'help' a body that smells so sweetly of sake." He grumbled, kicking his foot along the dirt. Now to wait on Hagehshii to show up and try to break something.
((*=For anyone that didn't know already, all the days of the week in Japanese end with "-Youbi", hence Chouhan's remark. Heh, if you're gonna go huntin, go to the village since that's where he is now. Happy trails! wink ))

He watched her with great interest and hope in every breath. He looke to her and for the first time noticing that her eyes kind of rolled back. For a moment he got worried... it didn't seem natural to see nothing but white of somebody's eyes. Worried he was about to shake her when the eyes returned, he let out a slight sigh of relief. Regardless it was all pushed aside for her answer.
"Yitnoru..." he said quietly making a small connection, but more improtant than that was the dismal news. He could tell that she was trying to not openly say it, but the truth was still the same. She didn't know either. He hadn't noticed the slight shimmer to the tattoo earlier, but then again he hadn't stared at it too intently.
He felt kind of silly, he didn't even know his own body. How pathetic he thought as he dropped his arm. "Thank you" he said after a bit of silence. Still, it dragged on for a little longer, as if it were some sort of reluctant rubber band refusing to return to sound. Like a snap, it was back. "Is that how you talk to Yitnoru? With your eyes? It looks funny and kind of scary..." he said pushing the failed attempt as far out of mind as he could.

Leina watched as she walked behind the two. Slightly relieved that she wouldnt have to be completely taking care of Ishu she looked up past them to notice they were nearing the home. Noticing Rei was there in front of the door she slightly tilted an eyebrow upward.
He looked mad or irritated about something. Sighing she knew what was wrong. Hageshii was in there. Though she met the man once from a distance, she knew how he was, especially how others spoke that he was almighty, that he could not be surpassed. He was the Kage's right hand man, and he had the privilige to do anything.
Well, she didnt buy much of what was said about him, but she did know he was different. He was ranked the same as her, but he was older than her, by four years, not a big difference, but he was still older than her. Slightly sighing at the fact she would have to put on her ANBU mask on to get into the Kage's home, she began untying it from her side.
It was a black mask, with two slits for her eyes and two smaller holes for her to breath. It had silver, purple, red, and blue markings on it and it ressembled a wolf. The marks under the eyes being silver with more silver marks on the side, then purple on top on the eyed slits, and the lips being a light-red. And blue markings following the silver as well.
Walking up to Ishu and Kumi in a brisk pace with the mask in hand ready to be placed on her face, she looked at them nodding and pointing to a bench on the side, a few feet from the home. "You can sit over there if you want to Kumi; Ishu, while I speak with the Kage as well as with another shinobi who is with her" she placed her mask on, her voice lightly muffled yet still audible she nodded. "Dont worry. The Kage will surely accept you into the village. I'll be back" she began walking to the household entrance passing Rei and knocked on the door, rather loudly so anyone could hear from the inside.

Rei frowned and looked at Leina. He sighed and shook his head as he glared back at the door. Hageshii wasn't going to open the door for anybody unless Nayami threatened him...or he leftfor some reason.
"Don't bother, Leina-san, he assumes he's the only one allowed in Arashikage-sama's presence right now." The boy grumbled. "Hn, I think he's full of it, it's his fault she's having whatever problems she's got." He added. Oh, if only looks could either kill or blow holes into walls, Rei would be a very happy boy either way.

Still sensing Ishu's disappointment, my smile vanishes as I I pull him once again to me, hugging him tightly. Closing my eyes tightly, I feel as if I failed the child, making my heart hang heavy even as Yitnoru's mental growls echo into my head. Without letting him go, I drop my voice to a whisper again.
"I'm sorry, Ishu. I wish I could help you find who you are...I wish I could answer your questions and take your sadness and pain away..." My voice fading out as my thoughts get clouded with visions of my own adopted parents telling me almost the same words, I slowly start to let him go as Leina's words hit me.
"Will you sit with me, Ishu?" Letting him go slowly, I nod as Leina passes and start to take to my feet again, struggling slightly to get to the bench. Sitting down, I lay my staffed weapon against the wall beside me, always keeping a mental note of how fast I can grab it if need be. Then, pondering Ishu's question, I finally speak again.
"To answer your question, I don't need to talk to Yitnoru that way. It's just...easier. It is like me looking into your eyes when we talk. I can look into his eyes, and he can look into mine...It's not scary at all, I assure you." Yeah, you say that now well I'm the one who still wouldn't mind munching on his flesh...
Shut up, Yitnoru. I swear to God, if I could, you'd be banished by now...

She pulled him close to her and hugged him, quite motherly...but if that wasn't then her words surely were. He hugged her back but wasn't too sure about it, why was she being so nice to him. He had little reason to be scared or suspicious of her, but still he couldn't help but wonder about her motives.
As Leina passed them, he noted the mask she had in her hand and like a spark to gasoline, his curiosity had been ignigted. He wanted to grab her and ask her why the mask... what it meant and all that good stuff. But she was off and moving and Kumi had already asked him to sit with her. Not that he minded, but it wasn't his first course of action. Still, it meant that Kumi and him migt be 'accepted' and did he really want to be rejected?
Rather obediently and quietly he followed Kumi towards her newfound seat. Stopping infront of her he watched as Leina approached the door before turning back to Kumi and her answer to the question he had nearly forgotten. "If you don't have to talk to him that way then why? Can you still see when you do that? Sounds kind of dangerous too..." He said nodding a little, much more sobered up than he had been moments before when hope had filled every nook and craney of his being.

Sighing Leina turned to Rei taking her mask off. "No need...They left....To the village, though they'll come back" she muttered a bit angrily and looked to where Ishu and Kumi were sitting. Looking back at Rei she lightly nodded. "I hope Nayami-sama is alright....I havent seen her since that day in the Grotto...." she wasnt feeling guilty, she actually trusted her Kage to be alright, it just felt akward to her, that one of her shinobi didnt know how she was, physically.
Sighing and looking at the sky she muttered a few things in an inaudible language and then looked at Rei. "Well...I better go tell the two they'll have to wait a while until Nayami-sama comes back from her small stroll in the village" she said looking at the bench once again where Kumi and Ishu were sitting.

He shuddered and looked around suddenly, before ultimately looking towards the building that served as the house of the village's Kage. That's where it had been...he wasn't sure what, but it had been there. He happened to catch Leina as she looked back towards him and Kumi. She was talking to somebody else who had been standing there.
He stood up and clenched the sword sheath in his hand; she had taken off her mask. Gnawing on the inside of his lip, he wasn't sure what think or say, but he had an idea. There wasn't any proof, but just an inkling of an idea that seemed to be festering in the back of his mind. Something he knew was true, but at the same time couldn't help but doubt.
"Leina-chan..." he called just loud enough for her to hear. "She's not there anymore...is she?" he asked as much as he told her. His words asked a question but his eyes spoke that he knew the truth. It was almost as if they had been growing disappointment and now were bearing fruit as his shoulders slumped a little.

Sensing Ishu's feelings, I stare at the building intensely, his words lost for the moment. Closing my eyes, I sniff the air gently, sensing nothing out of the ordinary but picking up the light traces of alcohol. Opening my eyes again, slowly, I look at Ishu's disappointed body posture, making me want to embrace him again but fighting the urge. Looking at Leina, as if for guidence, a sudden thought raises in my head as I think for anyway possible to cheer my companion.
"Leina, if the Kage is not in...may I take Ishu just outside of the village? We will only be gone a few minutes. I think...I want to show him something." My muscles, slowly returning back to place, I touch my throat lightly at the silver collar adorning it, hidden behind the high collar of my violet shirt.
Standing, as if ready to listen to either a yes or no, I strap my naginata to my back again, wrapping it carefully around the long scarf wrapped about my body. Then, with a strange, almost evil smirk, I lock my eyes with Ishu's. Ignoring any pain still in my body, I reach a hand toward Ishu openly, hoping he will accept it once more.
"I bet I can make you smile." Trying to push all the worry about where the Kage maybe, I hold my strange grin, hoping to either interest him or making him laugh. Okay, so acceptance might take a bit longer. No sense it worrying, right?
"I shall show you why I talk to Yitnoru as I do...and why, despite him being a annoyance, we are together...that is...if you wish."

Leina looked over again when Ishu called out to her. Sighing, knowing better than to keep a secret from a young boy, who obviously knew the truth she nodded. "Yes, but she'll return soon Ishu-kun. She had some trouble between two shinobi" she said lightly knowing that it was true. "If you wish to Kumi-san" Leina walked over to them and took out two cards that seemed to be passports.
"Take these just in case you walk out of the two towers protecting the village, this will let you come back in easily without hesitation. The guards will know, my mark is on there" she pointed to the two black cards with a silver signature of her name and also what seemed to be a iris and a wolf. "It's if you need it" she lightly turned the corner of her lips into a small smile. She knew Kumi might or might not go through the shadows again, and she did not mind. "Hopefully by the time you return, I've spoken with the Kage and she'll be ready to meet you two. Just return back here when your done"

He knew she had gone... he hadn't the slightest idea why, but he had. Still everybody seemed to think it normal...or at least not worth the effort of questioning him. Everything seemed to be going along just fine anyway, Leina even had an explaination for where the Kage had gone. Who was he to fight the current that everybody was creating. Besides Kumi seemed almost eager to show him something.
She smiled and seemed to be standing and moving a bit better. Maybe he should have let her rest sooner. Well, it was far too late to be thinking about what he should have done. He took one of the black cards from her and held it in his hand, looking at it intently. It intrigued him a bit...it was almost as if the people around respected Leina and the decisions she made. For some reason, that just felt foriegn and strange to him.
Sliding the card into his waist band, he took Kumi's hand. "Where are we going?" Almost like a ton of bricks, he snatched his hand away.
"HEY!"
His voice was carried an air of authority and accusation, "We aren't going anywhere!" he told Kumi. It wasn't up for much argument based on how he said it, even though he was ten. Smiling suddenly, "At least not until we get you something to eat."

With yet another loud crack of lighting, the yellow bolt striking the area in her bathroom just in front of the large mirror before the Kage once again appeared.
She stood perfectly still, her eyes falling upon her own reflection as her mind seemed to pulse with every heartbeat. The more she looked at herself, the more the pain would grow.
“Why must…I always be a failure…” Nayami spoke quietly as she reached out to touch her own reflection, the tips of her fingers running against the cold glass as she outlined her own figure.
“I can never do anything right, I can’t stand this…”
Her blue pools remained on the mirror for several minutes, her body not shifting one single step as she continued to look at herself. The memories seemed to explode through her mind like dynamite. Bringing up both of her hands Nayami clutched tightly onto the sides of her head, her nails pressing into her skin as she dragged her fingers through her hair.
“Stop please…just stop the pain, I don’t want to feel this anymore, I don’t want these memories, these feelings, why must I have emotions…why?”
The Kage slowly collapsed down onto one of her knees as she removed her fingers from her head, her touch soon streaking the mirror in front of her as she ran her hands down the smooth glass.
“I don’t want to feel anymore…”
Bringing her fists crashing into the mirror, the glass shattered beneath Nayami’s hands, the sharp bits and pieces raining down upon her body as her crumpled up form fell upon the ground.
The Kage’s body seemed to be bleeding all over, shards from the broken mirror lodged into her skin as she sobbed heavily upon the cold tiles.
So many thoughts, so many memories…and now this? Having to get mad at one of her very best shinobi? She hated this, she hated it so much. She didn’t want to say anything when she had witnessed Hageshii’s other form, she feared it to be honest. She didn’t want his bad side to come out, and all she did in return was look helplessly into the thin slits of his mask.
Dragging her damaged body back into the shower she threw the curtains close as she weakly reached up for the water tap. She remained in her clothes, not caring in the least bit about herself, leaving the glass chunks wedged deeply into her flesh.
Bringing her knees up to her chest, Nayami hugged tightly onto her limbs as she pressed her face into her legs.
The bright crimson from her wounds leaked constantly down the drain of the shower, the water carrying the blood over the tiles as the Kage continued to sit within the large stall allowing the warm liquid to rush over her body.

Taking the card quietly, I slip it in my thin bag that is hidden under my scarf around my waist. Smiling, I nod and start to walk off till Ishu redraws his hand, puzzling me for a moment till he speaks again. Sighing, his words make my stomach growl, I fight with how to deal with Ishu in my mind.
"Can we get something on the way or find something out there? I mean...I don't wanna and you can't make me." Crossing my arms across my chest, my mind flashes back to when I was Ishu's age and arguing with Sunia to not wanting to go inside for dinner. Luckily, Ishu is much smaller then she is and can't possibly pick me up to drag me.
"It won't be around much longer. It only comes out in the day around this time...they usually hunt at night. I want to show you it." Smiling, I hope to peek his interest more in what I speak of instead of food.
I want food, darn it! Let's eat then you can show off!
Happiness comes before hunger. After we show him, we can go. Turning to walk down the hill again, I move very slyly and slowly to allow Ishu to catch up if he wants.

Starting to follow her, he had to admit, he was a bit curious as to what in the world she was talking about showing him. He wasn't too fearful of her attacking him again. Even though he should have been. It didnt' change the fact that she needed to eat. She seemed to have recovered from earlier, but she still hadn't eaten.
"But..." again, he froze. Looking back towards the house again, he stared. "She's back..." he said loud enough for both of them to hear it. "I felt it..." like a slight shockwave of chakra, he felt the wave in his body. He didn't know what it was, but he knew that it was her...or at least it should have been her since this was her house.
"Leina-chan, did you feel it too? What about you Kumi-chan?" he asked them wondering if he was right or if he was just grasping at straws in the wind. He stood there looking towards the house, confused but curious.
