Wow. I sure have been gone from Gaia for a while. sad I'm sorry about that everyone. I've had a lot of projects and such (and still do) but I'll really make an effort to post more regularly again.

Anyways, I want to welcome all the new members:

Welcome!

Now that that is out of the way, since I've been gone so long perhaps a short introduction is in order for those who don't know me.

My name is Dave and I'm a platform agnostic gamer/game collector. I play and am fond of all consoles and game platforms, but Sega has truly earned a special place in my heart. Sega has proven to be the only hardware company able to survive without third party support and they did it by making truly excellent first party games. Sonic Team and AM2 are two of the best development teams in the industry.

My favorite game of all time is Rise of the Dragon, specifically the Sega CD version. I'm also a huge Saturn and Dreamcast fan.

For those who know me, I'm glad to be back. For those who don't, I'm glad to meet you and hope to get to know you all soon.

Regards,
Vae

Hello all! Nice to meet you all. And it's good to see some others that love Sega. Myself, I'll admit my only experience with sega was the Genesis. It was my first system, and my favorite system for many happy years. Even now it holds a special place in my heart

As far as games, I love RPG's and strategy more than any other. Wether it's Buck Rogers, New Horizons, Phantasy Star (pretty much any of em), shining force 1 or 2, etc etc, you get the point. lol.

Anway, back to my original point, which is...

Hi!

I'm StuffBillyStuff! Obviously, you can just call me Billy!
I grew up with Sega! We had a Sega-six pack, and I remember learning how to play each one of those games before I knew how to walk! I also remember stumbling upon the lock-on feature for sonic the hedgehog, and thinking I was a genius, and the only person to think it up XD. I would always love to sneak into my sisters room and play while she was at school, and when we would go to my aunts house, who had a bajillion more games then we did.
My favorite game would probably be Sonic three, simply because of the option to play as tails, and the chaos emerald minigames.

I started ranting in my guild joining thingy, so I copied and pasted it. sweatdrop

Sega rocks. I grew up as a Sega fan.

I wish Sega was more popular outside of England though, I can't believe America never got the Master System... no wonder everyone loves the NES there.

I still can't understand how people enjoy the antics of a slow fat Italian plumber through 8 'worlds' that all look exactly the same, to Sonic which had six beautifully crafted and designed zones, all with better graphics, individual enemies, and most importantly, different freaking bosses. No, I do not believe that jumping over the same boring bad guy and hitting one switch to kill it should be considered a 'boss'. ^^;

i agree with you i grew with sega and playing the games with my family we alwyas played sonic and jurassic park i love those games. i never got a NES system until i was about 13 or 14 and now im 15 and i still play my genesis system when i have the time. my favorite games were anything with sonic, and jurassic park

oh and by the way i am ginger. snapped. you could call me ginger even though thats not my real name. . .

Hello. I am an old fan of Sonic and SEGA. I started playing when I was three and I've been hooked after that. I did not own a DC and I haven't played that many games, but I know a lot about the Sonic world. I have an art gallery that specializes in Sonic and Furry art. (PM me if you want it)

Hope to meet all of you!
