Hawk headed upstairs with the two girls and looked around for where the footsteps had come from.
"If your there Jordan mind coming out?"
He kept his eyes moving across the area for anything new.
"If he doesn't show up we're going straight to the study..."

Ayumi looked around the darkened area. This was where she had seen all of those people. A shiver ran down her spine and all she wanted to do was leave this horrid place. Jordan wasn't here, the teacher wasn't here. They needed to move on. Following Hawks lead through the hall she stayed silent as she could, for uttering any sound here she would not dare to.

Mina kept as silent as she could, maybe if whatever was up here couldn't hear them they could sneak up on it, or past it. She watched where they had been as closely as where they were headed. She jumped when another clap of thunder sounded outside. Damn! She needed to remain as clam as she could.... it was only thunder.... it was only a dark hallway... only a house.... with dead bodies downstairs!!!!!!! She shook herself out of it. She needed to think clearly if she wrere to get out of this alive. Following Hawk's lead, she crept after the others, dreadfully certain that everything in a five mile raduis could hear her feircely pounding heart.

as you reach the second floor...you notice the same lantern was coming down the left....it was held infront of the individual.......and then ti went out...maybe 30 feet down the hall...it was dark..and you could still hear slow...slow footsteps....
then there was a flash of lightning and crack of thunder!
and for a brief second...you saw a man walking down the hall slowly...his face coverd in blood...the sound of somehing dripping onto the floor with each step....another flash....and you saw the deep crimson hair of ark....and his eletric blue eyes gazeing at you all intently.....and then when he was no more then 15 feet away.....he vanished....and you could still hear the slow laberous steps of him moving closer....
you thought you saw a huge bullet hole in his face....

A shiver went up Hawk's spine...alright..so Ark was a ******** zombie coming at them. He grabbed at Mina and stared at her.
"Ladies, get the ******** ready to beat the hell out of him! We're NOT going back downstairs again, he'll just follow us!"
Hawk brought Ayumi up to his side, if all three of them went at Ark at once there was no possible way they couldn't get by. They needed to get to the third floor to reach that study...

Ayumi stared in horror at the sight of the one who use to be Ark. Nothing of the real person was left in him, he had died yet even now he walked. This was truly out of a nightmare. She looked him up and down, wondering how they were going to kill him. Putting her dagger in her corset she reached over for the other stick which Mina still carried still staring straight ahead, now greatful for giving her two. She figured that if a bullet wound to the head did nothing then a little knife wound wouldn't make a difference. Maybe keeping distance between her and the...whatever he was now....would be the best thing for her. Maybe they would make it to that study in time.

"Guys wait! i watched the whole way up here! That can't be a zombie, they cant disappear like that.... and besides his body's still down in the water there's no way he couls have passed us and no other stairwells that we knew of..." Mina braced herself for the worst, she had no idea what that thing was. She didn't even if it was physically real or if they were all having some sort of thing going on in their heads. "It might not even be on the physical plane. Don't trust your eyes or ears too heavily!" She wasnt going to fall prey to her own head. "Dont touch it in case it is physically real though!" She couldnt imagine what was going on. Was this some sort of dementia? How she hoped it was just some nightmare... please let it be a nightmare! Please please let me wake up!!!

AS hawk pulled ayumi to him...protecting her...he felt something..sharp...dig into his wrist....and as he turned to look..where ayumi once was...was Ark..or...what was once ark...or..the artist formily known as Ark.( XD im sorry i couldnt resist). he growled deep in his throat , opening it as blood pored from the wound in his head....and his gapeing maw... He moved his mouth closer to your throat....his grip tighting on your wrist..the nails digging into your forearm..and bringing out blood...

Hawk took his knife and stabbed right at Ark, thrusting and twisting his knife in the monsters chest. He wretched to get his hand away from it, ignoring the blood that he was seeing.
"GET THE ******** OFF"

Ayumi looks at the crazed Hawk in shock and terror. Instead of killing himself he became violent against her. She shoves him backwards with her stick and falls.

Mina screamed shrilly "HAWK! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" What was she saying it was pretty damn obvious what he just did! She couldnt stay with him! He just stabbed Ayumi in the chest! She lost all of her hard won control and ran, just ran, she didn't care where she was running as long as it was away from Hawk. She found herself thundering down the steps and dashing across the floor slipping and sliding in the blood that had grown a little sticky on the floor as she went. She finally stopped on the other side of the bloody pool, out of breath and shaky.... she just saw... he just.... Ayumi...... why? Her mind was racing trying to comprehend just what happened and why. There was no time for "why" right now! She ducked into a darkenes space in the corner, ready to kill if Hawk came after her too.

dark whispers filled the air...and what was once Ark...slowly began to change back into Ayumi....as all her life blood pored from the horrible chest wound inflicted upon her by her own knife..and by a man she trusted...
after a few more seconds....she died...falling back against the railing..knife
but for hawk...there was no nail marks in his wrist...no blood on his clothes...well..atleast from ark....Ayumis blood splattering onto his face and chest....
as Mina hid in her corner in the bloody main hall....she could hear footsteps ...and then...Gin....looking perfectly normal except for the thin stab wound in the left side of her skull...her clothes stained with blood...and as she moved closer..her mouth open and dripping wit blood...more poeple began to appear behind her....dozens of pail men and woman moving closer.....a little boy in a green suit sitting next to arks corpse....watching with a little shy smile...

Hawk stared at Ayumi. He just killed her. ********. He breathed hard and sighed a bit, noticing Mina had vanished. Maybe he should go fetch her..or something..He saw the wooden stick that she had wielded and picked it up, he might need it.
"Wow...s**t..."
Hawk sighed and looked around again, he picked up Ayumi's extra knives and pocketed them, she obviously wouldn't be needing them.
"..soo soo sorry..ah hell...she's dead..."
Hawk stared down the stairs and couldn't see Mina, maybe calling her name would help?
"MINA? Where are you?"

Mina looked up at Gin. "impossible.... you're dead! YOU'RE DEAD!" She raised the Boken and took a swing at Gin's head. "dead!" Swing, "dead!" Swing "DEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!" She swing as hard as she could at the juncture of Gin's head and neck. She didn't care if this had been her friend, she was dead, she wiped the brains and gore off the knife herself. "I'm not foold so just.....DIE AGAIN FREAKY b***h!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She took another swing at Gin screaming all her fear out and using it to fuel the fire that drove her to survive.
