Ameko no Mori
"I have no world to return to," she said to him, carefully picking out her words. "So I intend to stay in this one for quite some time." It was obvious to her that he'd deduced her having come from another world. She would not tell him why she had left, or whom she had gone with, and she made sure not to speak of her powers too much, but she was beginning to wonder about these "seishi" and "miko" he refered to.

Well, either she is indeed from another world, or did not catch the reference too well. No matter which, Charles would have learned something. Cautiously choosing his words is his favourite way of gaining information. More often than not, a well worded comment can tell a great deal about a person. Judging from how she has acted up to this point, minus the attack, she has been attentative and evasive. She must have caught the references he made. The question now becomes why she has no home left . . .

"Okay . . . well, I certainly could use an ally. I am more than a little concerned that the other Gods' Seishi are out there. Like I said before- I don't know what to expect out of Byakko or Genbu, but the Seiryu group were a murderous bunch that were willing to sacrifice each other just to get at us. We have to be careful of any symbols like ours that do not glow red."

The hour is starting to grow late, and now Charles has a problem. Desipte a pull towards this girl, Ellia is not safe enough to tell his home to. she has not offered a place to stay either. Now comes the part where he will have to not only leave her behind, but be able to find her again tomorrow. As they walk the streets of the city, Charles tries to think of a good way out of this.

The drive to his apartment seemed to take Ryu very little time, and before he knew what was happening, the limo pulled up to the luxurious penthouse. A he stepped out of the vehicle, his manager handed him a card, "This is the hotel we'll be staying at. Call me before you do do anything, alright?"

"I understand," he said. Ryu waited until the limo was out of site before he started walking down the street. It was getting to be late, but his body was still on Parisian time, and he was wide awake. And though he had promised his agent he would let her know his every move, Ryu's favorite coffee shop was just a few blocks down, and he had not been there in ages. Foregoing managaerial orders, he took the brisk walk, still in his "incognito" hat and indigo tinted shades, trying his best to sort out the strange fluctuations in power he was sensing.

Okay! Profile has been approved! Here we go:

Character Name: Kyouseiki, Yuumai (he hates his name; all his friends call him "Kyo")
Seishi Name: Tasuki
Age: 18
Occupation: Senior at Seifu Gauen High School (in Osaka), no part-time job (he's too busy with track)
Appearance: Born of a Caucasian mother, his height (about 6'0"), general lankiness, and light complexion (tanned from being outside so much) tends to set him apart from the crowd. His eyes are a dark hazel and widened just slightly to show his American heritage. He keeps his messy hair (naturally black in color, though currently it's died a deep auburn) short in the back but long in the front, and is constantly brushing it out of his eyes. As far as clothing goes, he's surprisingly stylish in a relaxed sort of way, but he despises gaudy colors and styles (he sticks out enough as it is). His most notable features are his abnormally long canines and the tiny ruby drop he always wears in his right ear.
Personality: Friendly and outgoing with a bit of a short fuse, though he never stays angry for very long. He loves to show off and get into arguments, but he'll turn tail and run at the first sign of real trouble. He relies on his intuition and sheer tenacity more than his brains. Not to say he isn't intelligent... he's just a bit, ah... oblivious.

Edit: After speaking with Kitty-san, she's allowed me to bring in "Koji" as a side character, because I thought Tasuki looked lonely without his better half. xd Thanks Kitty-san! And now, El Profile-o...

Character Name: Uremi, Takashi
Seishi Name: N/A -- Koji
Age: 20
Occupation: College student at Osaka University; also interns at a local radio station
Appearance: Medium height (5'6" - this is Japan, after all), well-muscled, and a somewhat tanned complexion. His eyes are a dark chocolate-brown and his hair is pitch black. He dresses casually in something of a "skater" style, and never leaves home without his black jacket which he's covered in various "smartass" patches.
Personality: He's usually seen as the "responsible big brother" member of his group (which includes his best friend, Kyo), and because of this expentancy he can sometimes get a little uptight. For the most part, though, he's friendly and laid-back, if not quite as outgoing as his "second half." He possesses plenty of charisma and good people skills, things that Kyo is in short supply of. Perhaps this is why the two seem to complement each other so well, and make such a good team.

A loud howl erupted from above the buildings, one of sheer triumph as the night drew ever closer to its greatest hour. The moon was high and the werewolf fed upon the delicate whisps of light that danced about like wraiths within the smoggy atmosphere. All around her, her destruction lay...the injured beings with festering wounds where her claws had sunk in, the battered walls, windows and anything else that had got in her way.

No longer was she hungry but the desire to strike a blow at any being was something she now truly wanted. The lust for blood had overcome her and her senses, heightened by her transformation were alert... Her nostrils flared briefly as she attempted to track down the one that had threatened her earlier...she was sure he had had plenty of time to recharge, perhaps she should say hello again?

Another ear piercing howl erupted from the roof tops and then, the shadowed figure of a werewolf leapt from the building, landing squarely within the alleyway before diving towards the scent of Keigen.

She nodded to confirm she agreed. Then, gazing at the sky, which had already grown completely dark by then, she turned her head back towards him. "The night grows upon us," she said. "But I have no source of shelter."

Of course she doesn't. Charles can feel the gnawing guilt already eating away at his caution. This woman is strange, and has a dubious story, but he cannot deny the familiarity. Somehow, some way, she is connected to him. Charles just can't decide if that is a good thing. Chances are she just was confused when she arrived in this world and attacked him out of a misunderstanding. There is a very real possibility that she is on the level and a member of the Seishi. If that is the case, why does her symbol not register in his unlocked memories?

Several moments pass and the nagging doubt gains considerable ground. Faced with the danger he knows in Ellia versus the danger he doesn't in the form of the other Seishi from Seiryu, Genbu, and Byakko, Charles makes the only 'sane' choice he can. With a faint sigh of surrender, he turns to her and reverses his course- heading towards a subway entrance.

"I had a feeling you might say that. Come on . . . you can stay with me till we find you a place." Pragmatism screams that this is a mistake, but the mark of Suzaku would not lead him wrong- would it?

(( I think that's my cue... wink ))

The young auburn-haired man leaned heavily against the stall door, groaning as he paid homage to the all-powerful porcelain god. From just outside, he heard his companion chuckling lightly. Once he'd emptied himself - again - he propped himself up on his elbows, groaning in a somewhat slurred tone: "I hate you."

"It's yer fault fer not tellin' me yer a virgin t'hard liquor."

"Well fer gods' sake, I jus' turned eighteen! What th' hell'd ya expect?"

"I expected a former badass t'have some experience with drinkin'. I mean hell, I've been chuggin' that stuff since I was seventeen."

"Heh!" the auburn-haired youth pulled himself up into a standing position, turning and bursting out of the stall. He staggered towards the sink, splashing water across his face in a vain attempt to clear his head. "Some people ain't alcoholics, an' some people actually have things they gotta train for. An' trainin' means no alchol."

"I was a track kid once too, y'know."

"An' there's a reason ya ain't one anymore, Uremi."

Uremi Takashi laughed and slapped his comrade across the back, causing him to lose his weak balance and slam face-first into the sink. "Hah! Point taken, Kyou! But hey, it's no use arguin' over whose fault it is - we've explored downtown Tokyo enough fer now. Let's see if we c'n get you onta a subway an' back t'the hotel, all right?"

Kyo groaned and didn't move. Chuckling, Takashi grabbed him by the shoulder and hoisted him back to his feet, dragging him gently across the bathroom, out of the cornerside coffeeshop, and into the streets of Tokyo. Takashi glanced up at the sky, a wide grin on his attractive tanned face. "Always wanted t'explore Tokyo. We pulled a pretty hard night fer a couple-a Osaka yokels, don't'cha think?"

"Mmm..."

The auburn-haired youth began sliding from his comrade's arms. Takashi yelped and grabbed him tighter, looping a hand through the young man's hoodie and jerking him roughly into a standing position. "Hey, hey! Don't go passin' out on me yet! At least wait 'till we got on th' subway with th' other drunkards... then ya won't stand out so much, Virgin."

"I'm notta virgin... plenny-a sake 'n' beer... jus' never had... twenty shots-a tequila b'f're..."

"Jeeeesus, Kyo! I told ya t'take it easy! If I hadn't-a been busy with those girls I'd-a stopped ya after ten 'r so... if Coach finds out about this, he'll skin you alive!"

"It's all yer fault!"

Takashi sweatdropped and continued down the street, leaning heavily under the near-dead weight of his comrade. "Hai, hai..."

She didn't even say thank you. All that she did was nod, as if in agreement. Yet, what else could be expected of her? She has never had manners, never seen manners. Why should she have suddenly retained them then?

::Kigen had not payed nearly as much attention to the first howl as he did the second. That coupled with the sensation of approaching power...framiliar power. Never one to run he stopped under a treetlight near an alley. He leaned against the pole and waited, focusing on drawing energy from his surroundings to be better prepared in case she was coming for him, and if not...in preparation for his next meeting::

Takashi somehow managed to drag Kyo to the nearby subway. He eased him down onto a bench, taking a tentative seat next to the young man and praying he wouldn't feel sick again. Takashi glanced around; the area was surprisingly void of life, even for this late at night. He coughed, disliking the silence, and attempted to make weak conversation with his half-comatose friend. "So... what'd ya think-a Rikkyo University?"

"Ugh..."

"How 'bout Keio U?"

"Nnn..."

"Uh... Aoyama?" Kyo started sliding forward on his bench. "Ah!" Takashi grabbed his hoodie once again and yanked him so he was draped over the back part of the bench. "Okay, okay, nevermind, we'll ferget colleges fer now. Jus' thought we oughta pretend like we're doin' somethin' important, since we've basically blown th' whole evenin' on booze 'n' girls."

He glanced up, frowning. "Damn, how long 'till the subway gets here, anyway?"

Purchasing tickets for her and Ellia took almost everything he had left, but Charles returns with permits to ride almost to his door. Returning to her, he leads her down into the station. Taking a seat on a bench Charles sighs and waits. The only other occupants of the station appear to be some college kids that partied wayyyyyy too hard.

"The train should be here in a moment or two. It will take us where we need to go."

Eilla first sat next to him, but suddenly began to feel that pull again, much stronger. Instantly, her eyes widened, as her eyes caught sight of Kyo. There was no doubt in her mind that the pull was coming from her. "Do you sense it?" she asked of Charles.

"Well well," The animalistic voice growled from behind the being as the werewolf like being stepped out of the shadows, the unusually sleek build of the wolf moving silently across the expanse resting between herself and Kigen, "Still here?" she continued in a mocking voice as she came to face him her pearly white teeth bared to expose the scarlet liquid staining them...she had indeed been feeding.

"Perhaps your leg has healed?" she continued and then released another small chuckle, her head canting to the side as her ears perked. The beast held an aire of intelligence as though controlled by the human trapped within it yet still blood lust was predominantly on the beings mind.

Takashi leaned back against the bench, blinking in surprise as another pair joined he and his intoxicated friend on the platform. He nodded politely in their direction, then turned his eyes back to the darkened sky. No stars in the city. What a pity.

"Oi, Takashi..."

The older youth glanced down, blinking at his comrade's words. He hadn't expected him to even be conscious at this point, let alone able to speak. More surprising still, though, was the slightly unnerved expression on his face. Takashi's voice registered concern as he murmured back: "Uh, what is it?"

Kyo raised himself slightly on his elbows and attempted to whisper into his friend's ear, but apparently the alcohol had also caused him to lose his ability to keep his voice down. So, instead, he wound up blurting out his suspicions, quite loudly, for the entire platform to hear.

"I think those sickos over there are starin' at me, an' if they don't knock it off in about two seconds, I vote that we go over there an' kick s'me serious a**."

Takashi clapped a hand over his comrade's mouth. "Shut up, you idiot!" he snapped, then jerked his head in the direction of the other occupants, flashing a pained smile and an apologetic bow. "Ah, sorry 'bout my friend, he's jus' had a little too much t'drink an' he's not used t'liquor 'n' all, so please excuse his extreme rudeness!"

He punctuated the last words with two knocks on friend's head. Kyo glared up at him, then muttered something rude and went back to staring at his shoelaces.
