Carlos felt someone grab him by his neck and then push him away. He immediately went into a roll and came up turned around, kneeling with his rifle aimed at the felon. When he noticed the spec ops outfit he stood up and was about to ask where the other member was. When she spoke he again lost all respect for the 'damn' speccies. Wait...a she. Carlos knew that women could join the Imperium military, but not only was it rare. He'd never seen a case. Shaking his head back he responded aggrivated, "This single grunt came to your damn rescue. The others are coming along with the MB. A medic is en route as well. Where is the injured soldier? Don't tell me you speccies leave your wounded." He gave a sarcastic look behind his mask.

Kyle responded to Carlos, " No. We need to keep the fire off those speccied. You know that they ould retreat way before they would suck it up and stand their ground."

Kyle didn't respond to Brian because Kyle didn't hear him.

He went up after Carlos and looked on his HUD seeing that this is where the speccies were. He turned the corner seeing a scuffle ending, " What the ******** is going on? Carlos, supress fire now! You, bring the owunded over here where we can work on him!"

Kyle then went to a wall that they could fire on the gunner s around. By this time the rest of the Infantry were here and Kyle poke, " Supress in three, two, one." They all turned the corner opening fire and Kyle realeased multiple grenades beofre quickly switching over to kinetic rounds and fired. After awhile they reloaded turning the corner and repeated.

Landry's stealth forces kept running through the alleys, then, once they got to a good looking building, they took out their grapling lines and shot them at the roof. Each pulled up mechanically to the top, and they all got up there around the same time.

They ran on the rooftop, barely making a sound, and jumped to the next rooftop. Now they were becoming more prudent, kneeling and running at the same time, making sure no sound came from their feet.

They hopped to the next roof and barely jogged. They were more walking now, as they were becoming closer to the coordinates.

Snipers, we are closing in on your sector. I don't think I will need those coords. I can hear the gunfire...

Then a loud bang, as Andrea's grenade went off. The firing stopped. They were three buildings away from the gunners. Landry told his men to start walking. They made it to the gap, and Landry looked down. He saw his sniper on the wall, and he heard the same footsteps she heard.

Stupid infantry...when will they learn to be quiet? Oh yeah...they aren't paid to be quiet.... Thought Landry.

He waited for Carlos to run around the corner, and watched his sniper almost take him down.

Hmmph...One for the Specops, none for infantry Landry thought.

Then, after the whole fiasco, Landry told his men to jump over the building and towards the last two roofs. They did this and jumped the next one, and they came up to the ledge where the civilian gunners were at.

Ok men. Let's take these guys down and get this over with. The infantry will probably think that they got the kills...oh well.

Landry took out his rifle and made sure it was silenced. His two others did the same and aimed them at the enemy units.

Landry fired at a gunner. The bullet went straight through the man's head, making the puff of red go down at an angle. His other two men fired at two men with small arms. Those went through head and neck, dropping them with ease. the last gunner and gunner-guard were also taken down easily, and the gunfire subsided. The infantry were still shooting, not noticing that the enemy were already down. The medic made his way to Marcus and started his medical pocedures...

Targets neutralized. Infantry, start making your way towards the ilitary base. We are about two buildings up from you. We just took care of your "Gunner" problem. Meet you inside the military base...once the SpeOps clear it out. Haha.

And so he ordered his men with hand signals to keep moving, going towards the base quickly and silently. They had a little while to go. And they had time. The snipers would know what to do. They remember what was given to them as an order.

Kyle saw the gunners fall to their death and spoke, "Good Job, guys. For once we actually worked together. Someone log this in when we get back."

He started moving because after all of this had happened the MB had caught up. The MB had coords set in to go a block away from the base so it wouldn't be under-fire. Kyle heard Landry's remark, "Yea, well ******** off. I'll cut you some slack when you need out help." Kyle moved out and switched his comink to Infantry only, "Carlos, once we get to the base, get to the roofs. Once we take out the outside we're attaching zip lines to the second floor. We're not gonna let all the speccies have the fun."

"Sir," Carlos replied after standing from his kneeling position. "This time I guess I'll go with a team. Eversmith, Price, we're moving out." Perfect, he thought, We have our sniper and heavy weapons.

When Andrea heard that the threat was neutralized she ran with the medic to Marcus. "Alright man we're clear," she said comfortingly. "He'll patch you up," she patted the shoulder of the medic, "while I continue the mission." Marcus gave her a thumbs up as he grimaced in pain from the medics work. Andrea smiled and ran off towards the base. She was now alone. She noticed the man she nearly killed before run off again with two other soldiers. Shaking her head she decided that she'd better keep them alive. She ran forward to catch up and said, "I'll be with you guys while my partner is being patched up."

Eversmith looked over and spoke in his Infantry only d-link, "Carlos, we better be being paid overtime for babysitting. It just doesn't end."

Price then anwsered, " You know better then that, Eversmith. That think they're babysitting us.

By this time, all Infantry had switched over to their I-Link (Infantry-Link).

Meanwhile, Kyle said to Carlos, "Roger that. You enter in the left corner I'll enter in the right when we get to the base."

Kyle took a different direction then Carlos because they were going in different ways. Kyle ended up getting there first, "Yes!" Before his eyes he saw milatary personal firing upon the rebels assaulting the military base, " This is going to make it alot easier."

((Jesus Christ Zach, you really want this one to move along don't you?))

Landry and his two others made it to the Military base way before the rest of the infantry made it there. Landry looked back and zoomed in with his optimal zoom feature. He saw Carlos and two other infantry, along with his first sniper and the others still behind them. Landry switched to S-Link
((Since you guys want to pull a Landry and make up technology xp ))

Fox Angel, (Andrea) I want you to get up to the building adjacent to our position and set up a sniping position.I am sending you the coords now. Leave the infantry to do what they are going to do, you just get up here and clear out the building as we make it through and kill people inside. Fox Rogues, I want you to stay with the infantry and cover them from a wide perimeter. IF we gotta keep these infantrymen alive, we will do it with skill and valor. I want you to be in positions to flank from either side, so one go to the left and one go to the right. Fox Angel 2 When you are fixed up follow angel's same orders and get onto the other building across the way. Black Fox and Shadow Fox are with me. They think they are babysitting us, when we are doing all of the work. They can't even hit the broadside of a barn. Execute orders, Foxes.

Landry took Black fox and Shadow fox over to the vents. He removed his helmet and spoke with no link.. He whispered so noone around would hear.

Black Fox, you take this vent. Shadow fox, you go around and take the vent to the generator bay. I will take the vent leading to the officer's quarters. Move.

They both nodded.

Landry ran to the other vent and placed his helmet back on his head. He sealed it tight and then examined the vent...he could kick it open. So, he did, and the vent caved in, the screen bending and making an opening. He pulled the now destroyed vent screen out and placed it next to his vent. He climbed in and put the vent screen back on the vent and he sealed it there with his mini-welder. It would be hard to get it back off without a welder, or possibly just a kick. It was already flexed out.

Landry slid down the vent, and landed with a soft thud as the metal hit his boot. An opening was in front of him, and below, creating light in the otherwise pitch black vent shaft. He crept forward and looked through the vent. All rebels, maybe twenty, thirty. He dared not give himself away at this moment, and so only moved on. The infantry would no doubt want a kill.

He moved towards the vent to the officer's quarters, and many military officers were held there. If even one had defected, this would had been harder for everyone...

He looked at the layout and saw that only about ten rebels were holding them...

Hmm...ten rebels for twenty officers. Must have gotten them while they were sleeping... Landry thought.

He cocked his gun as quietly as possible, making sure it was loaded, and placed the barrel down and between two slots of metal. He turned on his tactical vision and looked down into the room. The hostile rebels were highlighted red and he saw the best route to take in shooting them down. He looked through the scope on his rifle, transferring his vision directly into it...He turned on Thermal vision in his left eye, leaving his right in tactical vision. He was trained to see and use both at the same time, and he found perfect ways to use them.

He aimed at one of the rebels, the best to take down first. The center left one. He saw the point line on his head and he took his chance.

Those who hesitate are lost... He whispered, speaking into the D-link. Anyone listening would have heard it and would not have known why they heard it, but that it was from Landry, and he was doing something...

The trigger was depressed, and the chamber burst in flames as his first bullet of the magazine cleared the barrel of his gun. The aim was precise, and the metal death streamed past the vent. The metal tore through bone, then through brain, and flattened on its way through, coming out the other side, about 4x bigger than the original hole. The man's head was almost completely tore off on one side. He fell and a sickening sucking sound filed the room. Everyone looked around looking for the source of the shot. Noone suspected the vents....yet.

Landry made sure he didn't hesitate, as that would almost immediately lead to his doom in a ventilation system, and he would have been a very bad leader.

He shot at his next victim, one close to the front door, he had to move slightly to see this one, and they thought the shot was through the door. The last 8 of them decided to fire out into the corridor, not knowing where the bullets hit, but just that the things they were shooting at were hopefully getting hit. He shot one more, and then another. All getting hit in the back of the skull and making a sucking sound. One went through a man's head and went into another's armmaking him fall in pain. Writhing as his vein around his wrist bled uncontrollably. Landry shot him in the head to end his pain.

Even though they are rebels...they do not deserve to be tortured like that... He once again whispered, anyone who heard thinking that he was doing something...noone knew.

The rest were easy as pie. They still thought that it was coming from the corridor. But, once he left two standing, they strated to turn, noticing noone out there. Landry shot one and he fell silently. The other, the bullet went straight between his eyes, just after he saw the quick flash through the hole of the suppressor. He fell to his knees, cross-eyed, and dropped dead. Blood poured out of the dead, and it was red and gray everywhere. The officers cried thinking they were next. Landry Kicked open the vent and hopped down, making sure no survivors were there. The officers saw the black suit of the Spec Ops and started cheering. The other rebels must have had heard the gunshots. They were no doubt already on their way.

He took off his helmet so he could speak to the un armored officers.

I need all of you to stay calm. Head to your nearest armory, but quietly and carefully. Arm yourselves and try to get outside without too much trouble. I hope you have weapons in here. If you don't....well, these rebels won't be needing theirs anymore, so just get out of here. Get some armor. Go into the security barracks or something, but get out of here as quick as you can. Rendevous with the infantry outside. They will take care of you.

Landry untied them all and then hopped back up into the vent, holding the vent screen and reattaching it. Noone would notice a thing, other than that it was slightly warped. He crawled through to the other rooms, leaving the officers to get out.

They're officers, He thought, They should know how to handle themselves...

Kyle climbed up the fire escape of one of the buildings and got out a line laucher. He aimed at the framework of the building up right above the window he was going to enter. He fired and the line was sent. He ook the other line and wrapped it around the building frame. He hooked the zip to it and spoke, "Infantry secure the outside with the personal. Carlos, you know where to go."

He got out his sidearm so he could hang on to the line and fire at the same time if he encoutered any resistance.

Without any noise Andrea split off from the infantry and started climbing a nearby fire escape. She then went across the rooftop and jumped the gap over a small alley. Reaching the edge of the next rooftop she stopped and peered over. The infantry she had left were still behind her and the only ones she noticed at the base were the other spec ops and the MPs of the base. She set up her tripod and placed her rifle on it, then mounted her scope. She peered through and shot a single bullet into a rebel that got too close to one of the MPs. Must keep them alive, she thought with a smile. She them swirved her barrel to the next target and slowly started to take out rebels.

Carlos smiled at the remarks of Price and Eversmith. "That's right miss..." he said as he turned around to see noone following. "Damnit we lost a speccie. They certainly are 'special' if they can't follow a simple map," he said to the other two as he continued on his way. "Whatever, we're not babysitting here." He then turned down an alleyway one block from the military base and climbed up one of the ladders. Reaching the roof he noticed one of the speccies on a nearby rooftop. So, that's where she went, he thought as he saw her rifle firing down at the ground below. He reached theedge and peeked over to see a mass of rebels and just a handful of MPs. "s**t," he said, "Price, Sniping support on those MPs." Carlos pulled out his rifle and peered into the scope. He fired three shots at a closer rebel, who fell from two wounds into the shoulder and one into the chest.

Price immendiately dropped into the prone position and looked through his scope. He fired several shots and about 2 rebels dropped. He continued firing and more and more rebels fell down.

Meanwhile, one of the rebels snuck away from the firing and went back into the alleyways. He made a right into the alley that Price was in and stayed in the shadows. He pulled out his 92FS and pointed it at Price. He moved up closer and weas 2 feet away from him. He smiled and fired about 4 rounds into his legs.

As the rebel did so, Price pulled the trigger. The pain caused his steady aim to move over and a bullet was realsed into an MP's head. Price screamed in pain and rolled over. He fired at the rebels filling him with lead. He army crawled to saftey and got on his D-link, " Damn it. Medic! My legs are ********. One MP down...I need....a medic."

Carlos heard Price's call for aid, "Damnit Eversmith, cover him. You're the support." He didn't take his eye from the scope as he fired at more rebels swarming the now lessened resistance of the military base. "Price, are you alright?" Without waiting for a response, "Anderson, we have one wounded, do you wish for me to continue with the plan or wait with my squad? I can do the mission alone while Eversmith watches Price until the medic gets around. It's your orders."

Kyle looked down at his feet, DAMN! He spoke, "Carlos, who else is down there? The two snipers, Eversmith and You, right?"

((your "Yes" here))

Kyle spoke, "OK, if there are a shitload of rebels there, stay and kill'em. If not, come on in and let the snipers pick off the survivors. Tell Eversmith either way to tell the surviving MP's to come insie to help us with the remaining survivors." Kyle let go of the button. He climbed up on the wall in front of him and took out his sidearm. He, with one hand, hung on to the zipline and, with the other, pointed the sidearm out in front of him. He pushed off the wall and propelled towards the base. He brought up his feet and smashed through the window. He released a hailfire of bullets toards the rebels from his sidearm ending the live sof most of them. He did a SWAT turn onto the corner. He dropped the clip and reloaded. He holstered his sidearm and brought out his rifle. He peeked around the corner and fired a grenade clearing the hallway, "This is Anderson, north hallway cleared."

Andrea saw the MP get shot through the head as she took out a rebel next to him. What the... she thought right before hearing one of the infantry plea for a medic. "Damnit," she said softly as she continued to pick off rebels. "Blast the infantry, they should leave sniping to the proffesionals."

Code name, Shadow Fox, approached the the vent that lead to the generator bay. In the top right corner of his HUD, he examined the layout of the building as he started to pound on the vent. When it fell off, he started to crawl inside. He stopped once inside and found the most direct route to the generator. Following the best way through the map on his HUD, Shadow Fox brought up a direct link to the Lieutenant Landry, "Sir, heading towards generators. I'll radio back in once I get there." A small laugh could be heard right before he continued saying, "Hope they can see in the dark." He then disconnected as he made his first turn through the metal crawl space.
