Nick sighed. "My parents...my brother...my sister...my love...all dead. My parents died at the hands of the Proletariat. My brother died when we took the train system...my sister when we took our current base. My love...she died on the failed attempt to capture the hospital...I wanted to die then...I just wanted to be shot..."

Nick nodded. "I see...War does not give, it only takes. Yet the opposing sides do not wish negotiations...I've tried. I want to peacefully reinstate government, but the Order of God called me a heathen and the Proletariats called me a dirty capitalist. I have lost many in this war...but nothing can bring them back."

"Yes. They are all ignorant to the truth. If they want a government ever again, then they must realize that everyone must work together and cease fighting. Otherwise, all it will lead to is the death of more innocents and their friends and family. I realized that a long time ago which is why I never chose a side." Kaonna's eyes began to well up with tears at the thought of that time that seemed so long ago now.

"No. You shouldn't be sorry. You didn't want any of this. But it happened anyway. And for that, I would like to help you for as long as I can. If you would allw me to stay here, I would protect you and help you until things are better?"

Alora wiped the tears off her face.
"Ok... Thanks so much. You can stay here as long as you like." She sniffed a little ans tried to straighten up her hair.
"I could really use the company!" She tried to past a smile on, but anyone could have seen through it.
((Man, its hard to get back into character... I keep wanting to act like either Ryuka or Glissa gonk ))

Nick nodded. "Supplies will be hard to replenish if we have to stay...we're not close to any Proletariat lines, and the supermarket I know is near here is Proletariat controlled, meaning you won't be able to get in. I don't think it's too safe for you here."
