Yay, thanks to your tutorial, look at what I did!! It turned out much better than I thought it would, thank you so much for your help! And I also found GIMP which is so much better then paying for photoshop... Anyways, I'm really sad that both of your lists are full, but I'll wait until I can order something. I really like your star wars edits, I'm a star wars junkie! Thank you again so much!!! heartheartheart

I use the "Save for web" option because it's the fastest way to save to gif. If there are any quality differences between that way and any other way of saving as a gif file, it's news to me.
Maybe your version is different, but mine offers a choice of GIF options... GIF 128, 32, or 64 each either Dithered or No Dither

Um one question.....why isn't this a sticky? I have a hard time finding this tutorial..... sweatdrop
Jenannen: Oh, yeah. I have tons of options for saving as gif. I set them all a year ago and haven't looked at them since so I can't tell you what they are. *laugh*
ayukichan: I don't like having any more stickies than is absolutely necessary. I have this thread linked in the main Announcements thread for easy finding. ^^
There are many good tutorials out there for people who want to learn how to draw. :3 The library and online art clubs are good sources.

I have something to add on the tutorial... biggrin Not that I dont like your tutty, I love it, but I just have something a mite simpler.
Do steps 1-4, then lock your layer with the first Lock Icon: -which should look like a layer pic- Then, turn your Flow to 10 and then choose a highlight/shadow color.
Should come out, (like what I did) like this:
Angelic Sunrise/Moonlight (The Avi) only took me 5 min.
