Istari_Knight I think each book in the series each has its own highs and lows (mostly highs). So I have to say I love each book almost equally. Unlike some books or stories that are written over a span or a year or several, the Dark Tower his completely different due to the fact that they were written not in a span of 10 years, but in a span of an entire life - starting at the age of 19. So each of the first four books have a completely different style and feel to them. Except the last 3, of course, because they were written really as one book. Dude that part about it starting at the age of 19... dude I haven't gotten that far, is THAT what it means?

Have you checked with the libraries to see when they'll be getting copies of DT7?

I'm almost done with Pt. 7 right now and so far it is the FASTEST I've ever read one of these. I've been putting it off cause I don't really want the series to be over, but now that it almost is (for me, at least) it is really kinda...depressing. I've been reading these books since middle school, and I'm a junior in college now. It's like, a part of my life is almost over.
Also, It DOES seem to be the best one so far. Although I really love Gunslinger, Drawing of the Three and Wolves of the Calla. But then again, I love the others as well for different reasons.
Who's everyones fave character so far? I really loved Pere, and got really involved with his story in particular although Roland is hands down one of the finest characters I've ever read in a fiction story.

Dark tower - 3 timez.
