Alana diliberated for a brief moment, following her friend's movement down the alley. Then she looked at Raye. "Goddammit Tyasha..." She then called after him gently, knowing his vampiric hearing should be able to hear her. "It may be foolish to be with a vampire and a human during a red moon, but it's even stupider to go off alone. Besides, the sun will rise soon. Let's go, we're not going anywhere until you come with us."

Alana sighed, wanting to chase after him, but the thought of leaving Raye alone in an alley did not seem to be the smartest choice in the world. Maybe he just needed time, to recover from whatever it was that had just happened. Maybe. She turned her cold eyes to the human and gestured for her to follow. "I'm not to worried about Tyasha." She lied. "He can take care of himself, I"m certain he'll meet us at the pit soon. What we need to do now is get back and make sure Chris is ok, and stay where we know we can be safe, from now on, Ok?" She gave Raye a look and started down the dark streets toward the pit, which was now to both of them "home" for the time being.

By the time Alana neared the pit her heart was racing with the memories that would not leave her alone. She went inside and caught Chris's scent right away, knowing the girl was safe for the time she went to poor herself a glass of blood to calm the lust that was upon her and then sat lightly down on the sofa, forcing bad memories out of her mind and trying to figure out exactly what had happened.

The scent of blood filled Alana's nostrils and made her blood run quickly through her veins. She closed her eyes and clenched her fists, trying to ignore the temptation his thoughts offered. ~I'm sure nothing of the sort happened, Tyasha.~ she thought at him. She opened her eyes to look him over, but now she knew that would be flaming crimson, the urge to drink, to drain a human--any human--of ever drop of ruby nectar in them overwhelming. "I think perhaps you should stop tempting me, Tyahsa. I can only do so much to control myself," Her glowing eyes locked contact with his own, and she gave him a knowing look. "Just like you." Then she clamped her jaw shut and took deep breaths, trying hard to control herself.

"You're not acting like yourself, Tyahsa." She said calmly, still staring intently at his face. "Tell me what's going on. Back there in the alley, you killed a vampire, Jen, you said she was a human, did you change her, Tyahsa..." So many questions, so many urges, her words were coming out a heated rush, and her fangs were lowering involentarily as the smell of blood coming from Tyasha filled her. He seemed to be ok, while she was falling apart at the seems. And he reaked of human blood, though she knew that at this point if he had walked by a human with a nosebleed she would be able to smell it.

She hadn't eaten fresh from a human in a long time, but she could still remember the feeling and satisfaction that came along with it... NO! She wouldn't give in... it would ruin everything. She wouldn't turn into the monster she used to be.

"WE'RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THEM, TYASHA!" Alana screamed at her friend, but her defenses were failing. Why? Why did they have to defy their hunger, their nature, to defend these humans who did not even want their help. These humans who defied the vampires, who's own police joined the side of the Balvoirines. She lost it then. A loud growl rumbled in her throat and she unsheathed her daggers and headed toward the exit. "I need to kill something."

Alana stiffened under his touch, her heart racing. She lowered her head and sheathed her daggers, taking a deep breath and regaining all the control she had left within her. She grazed her hand along Tyasha's arm, meaning to remove it from her waist, but instead found herself stopping with her hand over his, her breath caught in her throat. She had very little willpower left to gather. "You're holding me, Tyahsa." She breathed needlessly, then scolded herself mentally. Oh, nice, Alana. Real smooth. Way to point out the obvious.

Alana growled menacingly and in a flash kicked the gun out of the man's hand. In an instant, her daggers were unsheated, one at the neck of the man, apparently named "rick" and one at the neck of the woman, whom she could only assume was "saras". In a low, bloodthristy voice, she growled, "Lay a hand on him and it will be the last thing you do." Then, privatly, she thought to Tyasha. ~Are you okay? No need to tell me... Balvorine infested police system, right? By the way... don't think you're off the hook, you've still got quite a lot to explain.~
