Oh god, you're right. I had completely forgotten. That makes it even worse, and so does the fact that Belle wants them to be her daughters god parents. It just feels like the writers are forcing this so much.
Although today's episode did have Belle allude to Shawn as being the father.

well i kinda like mimi and shawn together. i used think it should have been shawn and belle but im starting to change my mind. anyone else think that?

In all honesty, I stopped caring about Belle when she was recast. Shawn and Mimi might stand a chance if all the stories weren't speeding up and slowing down so much right now. How long has it been since Rex left? Just when did Belle get preganant? I know we have to suspend some belief, but GAWD!!! Lucas is always excellent, though. 3nodding

Two very good questions. :3
For me, it was like Rex was there, then I couldn't watch for a bit because of work, and then when I could he was gone. Like, Rex just went *poof!*.
As for the last question, well, we all have our ideas. I'm pretty sure I remember a rain soaked encounter between Belle and Shawn, but I'm not sure if that was pre-Phillip or not. :/
Long live Soap Network and their sunday marathon of the entire week's episodes. :3

Is anyone else looking forward to Donald Trump making his Days debut?
They showed a clip after The Apprentice tonight, and from what it looked like Nicole was about to throw herself at him. You would think she would learn to stay away from rich men.

Has anyone seen the cover of Soap Opera Digest? At least I think it's Soap Opera Digest, it could be another.
Anyways, one of the things it mentions it that Marlena and Alex get married! Yuck. It also said something about Shawn and Mimi, but my stomach turned before I could finish the whole headline. :3

Hey people, where is all the Days chatter? Nobody has anything to say about this jealous belle business? Mimi getting Shawn? Marlena and ---ugh nevermind I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Why 3 people are fighting over her I'll never understand. How about Sami actually getting to show she has a brain. About time. You guys are all so quiet. confused

I think Sami is goin good...at least she has something to do than just plot and scheme!
As for Marlena get a clue! How dumb can one person be! I know she has no memory but she has seen what has gone on in the last few weeks! Wake up!! Yeah the whole 3 guys after her thing gonk yuck!
The whole Shawn and Mimi thing is weird, when will they let these characters grow up a little (talkin mainly mimi) I mean she is a ditz! She just goes on and on babbling about stuff! Shut up and enjoy the fact that a human still like you!! rofl
And the whole Jack thing! I think it would have been better if he had died on the island! I used to really like Jack (way back when he was the other guy wink ) but the whole dead not dead, dead again thing is just way too over done and not just here but the whole show! I mean is Stefano really dead or will then bring him back when they get sick of Tony!

The last Jack was freaking hot. Ohmigawd, you could not pull me away from the TV when he was on it. XD
I agree, they need to stop killing and then ressurecting characters. Sure, once or twice is ok, but this is getting out of hand.
It was so wrong how they told Jennifer though. That was really sad, and she was in total denial. It broke my heart.
Aside from the bile that it rises in me, Shawn and Mimi seem very rushed. It's like the writers are trying to hurry this part of the story along and things are getting a bit sloppy. And, just to be consistent, Yuck.
Marlena is nice and all, but why is it that every guy on the show has a thing for her? I don't understand. John needs to seperate Marlena from Alex and then just sock him a few times. I think he could take him.

Why can't the show have a new evil mafia family? I think all us fans deserve a new one for all this time that we have invested in the sucky plot twists and updates.

The implications of Marlena being married to Alex before she came to Salem are really far-reaching and shocking. Did she marry Roman simply because somewhere in the recesses of her mind he reminded her of Alex? Are all of her children now considered bastards because she was not married to their fathers? Is Alex the legal father of all of her children, since they are still legally married? Why hasn't there been more inter-action between Alex and Sami? I've missed a few shows, but has anyone even mentioned the fact that Alex has the same face as Roman used to have? It's all so confusing!!! crying
