((Joy of my heart! I have always wish it so! xp ))

Four blank walls, a blank ceiling, and a smell of being beneath the ground. Was this the NDS headquarters? No, nothing would smell this homey to the creatures. The only other option was that they had actually suceeded in capturing her. Lorzerai sat up carefully and inspected her body with her hands in the dim light. Nothing broken, yet. But there were heavy chains on her hands and feet. Chains, how primitive. Lorzerai wondered if they'd taken all her weapons. She battled the notion that they were too unintelligent with the notion that they were barbaric enough to strip her. Was she wearing her uniform still? Her addled head couldn't make out quite if her clothes were different or not. She stood carefully and and found that she could take about two steps in any direction before the chains on her feet stopped her. Was she chained to the center of the room? But then, where were her arms chained? Had the cowards actually made it so likely for her to fall and be helpless, or was she just confused in the dark? She sat again to wait for whatever barbaric treatement they had in store for her.

Azera walked down the stairs and pasted Lydia and Vance in the eating hall on her way to the pits where her new faviorite punching bag was located.
"Where are you going Azera?"
"To the pits."was her quick reply. You know one would think that the malicious grin set upon her face would have been enough for them to stop her, but they didn't and who was she to argue with their judgement after all they were the elders in the group. She entered the pits and began to head towards where she knew the prisoner would be. She didn't require the use of a light but took one along so that she could watch as the prisoner realized who she was being attacked by. Yeah so she had told the other to fight with honor she was still pissed after all she had been in that Hell Hole for over a week and they were less than hospitable to her if her nightmares could be believed. She entered the room and smiled at her handy work. The chains were actually plants she controlled that would adjust to give the person freedoms and take them away at a moments notice. At the moment they were attached to the floor and the girl was struggling to find where her hands were.
Azera chuckled darkly at the sight,"Why hello there old friend. How are the new accomodations? To your liking I hope."

Lydia's head snapped up.
"Wait...did she just say she was going to the pits...?! oh dear..." Lydia got up from the table and ran over to Seifer's room.
"Seifer! Wake up!" Seifer groggily opened his eys.
"Mmpf go away." Lydia through a ball of ice at him which shattered over him, and then began to melt.
"Up. You've slept more than Azera."
"Fine, fine..." Seifer said, wiping ice cold water off his face.
"Now take this chocolatte bar and go and stop Azera from hurting the new prisoner. And hurry!"
"Why do I have to do it?"
"Cause you need to work! Hurry up!"

Lorzerai was on her feet in a second, and glowered at the figure in the doorway. "Oh, it's just you," she said contemptuously. She considered giving a command and provoking the rebel, but that wouldn't be a wise thing, so deep in their stronghold. She stretched a bit and asked, "What do you want?, hm?"

"Oh nothing much. Just came to ask how your liking the stay so far, if your hungry, and well there was that little beat you to a pulp thing in a fair fight. I mean now we're both well rested and collar free. Don't say it. I know your in chains, but that can be easily remedied. So are you ready?" asked Azera as she stared at a woman who in so short a time had managed to become so hated.

Lorzerai had been expecting some revenge bid like this. But, to offer to remove her chains was unexpected. "You want to fight me barehanded and unrestrained?" she asked to clarify and buy a little time to consider the proposal. Most likely if she refused the scum would beat her anyway.

"Yes. You see that is the honorable thing to do. I understand why it would shock you though considering your a pathetic ningen." Azera responded to the girl,"What do you say? Will you fight or not?"

Pathetic, was she? Lorzerai's face sharpened. "How far are we fighting, rebel? 'Til you cry? 'Til you die?" She grinned hideously on the last word. She could see the barely restrained rage behind the youkia's eyes. It was good for Lorzerai to have an angry opponent. Plus she loved mocking the rebels before she killed them. She loved the surprise on their faces when they realized she beat them, even with all their "ideals."

"Something like that. No rules save this only use what you were blessed with at birth. That means no swords, daggers, staffs, etc."with that said she immediatly commanded the plants to release the prisoner and walked towards the ningen. The light she had brought slowly began to fade until all that was left visible in the darkness was her smile and then even that was gone. She began to laugh at the ningen who was trying to locate her however she was moving constantly so the sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and yet no where at the same time. She was completly oblivious to the sound of footsteps heading towards them. She finally stopped laughing and appeared behind the ningen who was still adjusting to the darkness."Boo,"she said as she tore at the girls back with her claws. She smiled and inhailed the intoxicating smell of the ningen's blood. She then faded back into the darkness and causually licked the blood from her claws with a malicious look in her eye. She was enjoying this.

Lorzerai hissed as the claws tore her back. She'd had some night-training, but never in an enclosed space. She twisted forward and out of the way of the claws to reduce the damage. "Of course," she said. "You would expect the 'pathetic ningen' to be completely helpless in the dark. Perhaps because you frighten children at night you expect the grown ones to retain their fear?" She jabbed backwards with her foot, surprising the youkia and catching her in the stomach with an audible whoof. Pushing her advantage, Lorzerai spun and brought her foot sharply against the other woman's head. She danced back before the claws could come racing for her.

"Not bad however you made one big mistake. You backed off. I guess if your afraid of the dark I could lighten it up alittle."Azera stepped back and began to chant in a long forgotten language moving her hands around in a complicanted series of motions as well. When she finished she smiled and watched the bewildered expression of the ningen change to one of disbelief as the monster of fire she had summoned appeared. This was something passed on through the royal line of the Shasomewolf demon tribe over the generations. It was one of the reasons her family was feared and respected throughout the magic realm. It was also the reason she was supposed to marry the other clan and why the humans wanted her so bad.It only transferred to one child in every royal generation and she was the lucky one. The monster began to move towards the ningen but then it stopped as the room became brighter and the two occupants were restrained by lightning.
"Azera. What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
"Lair."
"COme on let me finish. We can get another human. We don't need this one."
"No now call back your monster."
"Fine."
"Thank you."Seifer said as he looked at Azera. That summoning. It's not possible. It couldn't be. She died. Maybe, just maybe she is alive. Could it be that Azera is the heir to the Shasome line? Seifer thought as he looked at her once again, but this time he really looked at her and he realized what had seemed so familar about her. She resembled the leader and his wife. She was the girl he was supposed to save. THe one he was meant to wed.

Lorzerai closed her expressions and focused on figuring out how to defeat a fire monster. She held her ground. "This is what you call using only what you came into the world with? A demon was with you in the womb? What lies you tell to justify your ideals," she spat. "I thought if you were so concerned with honor you would actually hold yourself to your word."

Then the room lit up and some other rebel boy encased her in a foul magic. She fought against the bonds of light furiously. "Release me from your spells!" she snapped.

Lydia felt it safe enough to enter the pits.
She summoned... she thought, with mild suprise. I wonder if Seifer has...yes, i can see the thoughts tumbling round in his mind. she smiled slightly. Let us see how this love affair turns out.
"Calm down, Azera. Seifer, I shallhandle it from here."
PostPosted: Fri Oct 27, 2006 7:52 pm

"I don't want to leave. I haven't finished yet. She's still alive." Azera whined as she tried to break free from her bonds and stay in the cell to kill the ningen. Seifer rolled his eyes and then he picked her up and rather uncerimoniously tossed her over his shoulder. She tried to fight him at first but after the first twenty stairs she gave up and simply began to hum which eventually turned into singing. Seifer smiled at the song it was one he remembered from his childhood. The elders would always sing it during the night while they were gathered around the fire after they had told their stories.
"Where did you learn that song Azera?"
"My mother used to sing it to me and made me memorize it so that one day when I had children I could pass it on to them. Why?"
"Just wondering." A long silence proceeded after that when Seifer finally decided that he needed to know if his assumption was correct.
"Azera who were your parents and what is your last name?"
"I told you before I'm not allowed to tell anyone but the Tuski Clan members."
"Azera I never actually told you my last name, Did I?"
"Come to think of it no."
"Well my tribe are the Tuski and I'm the heir."
"Oh."Azera sounded a little disappointed although Seifer couldn't understand why when suddenly she spoke again as realization dawned on her,"Ohhh......So your the one. My last name its Shasome."

Lydia waved her hand, dissapiateing the lightinig. She chuckled slightly.
"I wonder what you did that made her so mad..." She smiled at the captive, a haunting smile, and left the room. She paused in her stride.
"Don't try to leave. You will only cause yourself much confusion."
