Now that the semester is over I was actually (right before I read your post)I need to start working on the slave one again.
Man I never thought people would look for/at my test thread. Good thing I got rid of anything that might give something away...I think.
Nox invaded it a week or so ago...but he is always stalking me so that wasn't completely surprising. haha
So it's fine...I just have to remember to word things in a way that doesn't give anything away...regarding furture stories and characters.

Congrats on getting through your semester. heart You must be so relieved. It was your last one, right? I've got two weeks left... *just realised* *freaks out*
I put partial plots spoilers on mine, but I use white text and give warnings. Most of the stuff in those sections are abandoned, unimportant or alternative threads. I figure Aze is the only one who stalks the thread so I'm not too worried. I haven't put any of your and my plots.
So, um, what era did we decide to set the orphanage in?

Oh normal todays era...modern...I think there would be more options that way...with like careers and weapons (if the person is a spy or whatnot) and so on.

Thanks. Modern it is. I'll start on the story next time I'm on.
I've get the careers selected, I just have to write them up. There would be a lot of options for careers no matter which era we put it in.
They careers are pretty self-explanatory. Assassins and body guards are the fighters, childminders look after and teach kids, intellectuals work are for people who need professional workers, labourers just do menial work, normals are especially for people who want a loving child, performers work on stage or behind it, privates work as personal assistants or more risqué business, servants do house and garden chores, useless are blank canvases that get sold or killed by the age of 18 and wardens are in charge of each group. There is also a warden of wardens who is the second in charge after the owner.
I'm going to write a profile for the owner but keep them an NPC for anyone to use.
Now to bed.

Oh you girls~ I haven't "stalked" you in ages, Alykia. And to be truthful idk where your test forum is under your post history. I think...Ra's is on...page 6, or 7. Of course there's a link somewhere in the guild to it, so it's easier that way.
Also grats on finishing the semester.
...Hey Alykia, how would you handle a murderer if you were in control of an rp? Would you just make the character an Npc, that is rarely seen and his presence is only known by the victims he leaves behind...or would you make it a position that could be filled?

I am curious as to why you are asking me specifically Nox. Haha
In any case, it depends on the roleplay.
If there are more baddies...then I think it's fine to have someone roleplay the murderer. If there isn't then the murderer wouldn't really be able to interact as much as the others. It depends on how sane he can appear to be around other people really.
I think the best way is for the creator of the RP to roleplay the murderer in most cases. I would also not make him an official character if you want the murderer to be less human. Which would kind of fit your NPC image you mentioned...but if you wanted the murderer to be THAT basic then others can roleplay his NPCness as well.
It really depends what you want...

...-scratches head- Cause you were the last person I kind've talked too in regard to that...and well, the last time we talked, you showed a blood thirsty side that could be spun with prejudice depending on the rp. ...Well okay bloody thirsty might not've been the right word, but you brought it up...and it made me wonder about it. So I used the idea of a murder plaguing the two human groups and trying to drive them apart. They were already pretty against each other in the start...or I think one group was.
Uhh if I ever solidify what I'm thinking of, and come up with a short "recent developments" part that include the whole murder mystery angle...then probably in the guild. It's just that the whole muder mystery angel would be like...one plot, not the entire thing DX...unless I could drag it out.
