Haruka gazed at the map when he opened it up and she spotted the ruins he was talking about. She then watched him close the map before she heard his question. "I've never used portals for transportation. I usually just fly. And I don't summon demons. I actually summon things that are more like demonic creatures. They're created by binding the souls of the most dark and corrupted people. I've been able to control most of the creatures but there's one who doesn't like listening to me. Everything I learned, I learned after I ran away. I trained myself." she explained as she thought about how they should get to the ruins. "I don't really mind how we get there. It's up to you if you want to take the risk or not." she said.

Damien listened to the woman an nodded his head. He stood up and took a deep breath and let it out. He then clinched his hand and released it slowly as a portal appeared before him. It was not the perfect portal but it would have to do for now . He turned to face the woman and then looked back at the portal that he created.
" This portal will have to do for now. It is not the best but it would get us their faster so that we can begin our search for the Demon portal. Lets not waste time now. Follow me if you wish.. It is up to you if you want to follow me though the portal or not " Damien then walked though the portal and turned to face the woman. The portal would remain up for a little bit and then close. so the woman would have to make her decision fast (( Exit ))

Haruka stared at the portal for a moment before she looked at Damien. She sighed and made her decision, walking through the portal with ease. She grabbed his hand and held it tightly before she watched the portal close. She wasn't sure if the portal would take them where they needed to go but it didn't really matter to her. If they did end up lost or something, Damien would probably know how to get them back to where they needed to go. She trusted him completely and hoped that she could be of more help to him.

Shade of Grey _______________________________________ Watching from a tight little nook inside a nearby bookcase, Shade scowled when he saw Damien and Haruka leave the library through some kind of portal. So much for his little stalker game.
"Tch . . .!"
The portal closed, to his dismay, and he was left with nothing. From his little safe haven, he looked about, wondering when the last time was that he picked up a book.
Not wanting to stick around, he crept down from the shelf, resembling only an oozing black shadow, and he glided out the door.
[[Exit.]]  "I'm watching you. Even when you think I'm not, I am."

 Bain was gazing around, she had never seen such a collection of books. But, that wasn't why she was here, she was only here for a specific book. She casually walked down the rows upon rows of bookshelves filled to the brim with books. She didn't want to raise suspicion, but, no one was there to raise suspicion anyways. She had changed back to normal after her little three way tussle between the Reaper and the mutated Fay. What was it he called himself? Bain brushed the thought aside, what did she care? She was wondering into the older part of the library, dimly lite and the books covered with dust. Suddenly, she spied the book she wanted, and was soon engulfed in it.

 Thomas fell though the portal hard and hit the floor with a thud once again the portal had failed him and he was beginning to wonder why he bothered going though portals . He groaned in pain as he looked around the room. He was in a libary not the best place for someone like him to be in. Thomas looked up and notice that the portal had appeared behind a woman that was reading a book. He got to his feet and brushed away the dirt. The room was filled with students and he knew it would be hard to explain how he got here though a portal they probably never seen before
The shadows around Thomas body crackled as the plants in the room turned black and then died. He let out a small chuckle as he looked around the room once more
"Well it seems that you have finally found me by luck. Well no matter have you done what i asked of you ?. And please tell me you did or I will have to test you in another way. a more painful way which you will not like " Thomas asks in a calm voice as the shadows around his body crackled once more as he waited for the woman to respond. He looked at the book and snatched it from her hands so that she will answer his question

Bain sighed. "You don't have to be so rude about it." With that she took out yet another book. Gritting her teeth so as to not loose her cool she started to flip through the pages, only half interested. Once her jaw relaxed she continued. "I tried to confront her, three times as a matter of fact, but she is a slippery one." She said with a slight laugh. "Oh well, I guess you're going to have to test me another way." Her eyes glint with malicious intent and sparkle with curiosity as well as to what this "other test" might be. But she had a pretty good idea. "So, what now?" she asked, waiting for a reply, her muscles tensing in anticipation of an attack.

Thomas listened to the woman and then turned around to find another woman speaking to him. The woman was attractive but it was not going to make him lose focus on the task at hand. He turned to the other woman and frowned. He was disappointed with the woman failing to do what he had asked her to do
" Well since you have failed me. I think now would be a good chance for you to learn what failed means. After all you have failed a important task that was a test for you. Now you must find me a book about the shadow lords and bring them back to me. You will only have a half hour to find such a book. If you fail then i will not teach you anything understood " He told the woman that was reading a book again. He snatched the second book away from her hands and tossed it far. he then turned to face the other woman.
" You can stop smiling now. It will have no affect on me. years of training has allowed for me ignore weak emotions such a flirtation or anything of those kind. But anyway.. You have gotten my attention now. What do you want. " Thomas asked in a calm but stern voice as he looked at the other woman that was sitting down and then at the new woman that smiled at him. he heard the last part of what she said
" oh do you really specialized in pain. Well pain in the bedroom is nothing compared to pain of the body and the mind. you know nothing of pain so you better stop talking about. By the way what is your name ? and i did mention what is it to you ? " Thomas asked in a calm voice as he looked at both woman from both of his eyes

Bain slowly closed her eyes, breathing deep she turned towards Thomas. "Alright, I accept your challenge" She says, sneering slightly. Her eyes glinted dark at the word 'challenge'. In an instant she was gone, receding deeper and deeper into the deeper catacombs of the forgotten portion of the library.

Thomas sneered at the woman as he listened to her speak. This woman had no idea how powerful he was. How much pain he could inflict on someone and how many battles he had fought to become a shadow lord. The shadows around his body crackled with power as he sat down on a chair that face the woman. He chuckled a little before he replied.
" you think i would allow you to show me your pain ?. No I am not so weak minded as most men are to fall for your seduction. Those men deserve death for what they allow themselves to fall for. The shadows teaches those that embrace it that it is important to forget all the inferior emotions and focus on anger and aggression. And my name is Thomas.. " Thomas said as the shadows around his body crackled with power once more.
What he said was true. He was able to control his emotions just like he said because of his training under the dark lord. But the next question was a easy one
" Its really easy actually. A shadow lord is a person that will one day help summon the dark lord to the world so that he could make the shadow empire. which was destine to come to the world in a matter of weeks. We are his summoners and their are four of us in total. We are the ones along with the champion that summon the dark lord. Any more questions ? " Thomas asked in a calm voice as he looked at the time and wondered if the girl would return back with the book he asked her to find.
