harrypotterfreako Time to burn the DVDs now?! *I say cheerfully* Should we announce it in the great hall? Or even burn them in the great hall!!! biggrin I'll take care of the snacks! HEY NOW, YOU IDEA THEIF. XD Kidding, we can host the event together. I"m thinking maybe a huge halloween party in the great hall coupled with a beautiful bonfire....made entirely of twilight books, dvds...paraphernalia...>3

 Liviana entered the library to the familiar smell of old books and ink. She breathed in heavily, and realized that this was likely to be her home for the next few months. She sighed and began formulating a game plan for her studying. 'I should start with defensive spells first, definitely,' she thought, pulling several dusty tomes off the shelves. 'Then I need to look at charms and transfiguration afterwards.' She looked at the vast ocean of books. 'I hope there's enough knowledge in here to do right,' she thought. With that she began studying.

An owl flies in, flapping its wings very hard. It drops right next to Livinia, most likely from sheer exhaustion from carrying a fairly large, wrapped parcel. Stretching her wings, the bird totters about before releasing a blue letter from its beak. It flaps away, off to the owlery.
The letter is addressed to Livinia, the silver writing fluid and elegant.

Liviana looked up from her reading, startled by the owl's appearance. She realized she had remembered seeing this owl fairly recently...but whose was it? She opened the parcel, and beamed. In it were several very new books on defensive spell, charms, and other useful pieces of magic. She looked in the wrappings for a clue as to who her mysterious benefactor was. She didn't have to search long, for she discovered a folded piece of parchment in the shape of a heart. Liviana smiled, grateful for her friends at Hogwarts.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra sighed as she walked into the library. It wasnt one of her favorite places in the world but she desperately needed to learn new spells for the competition. She began to search the vast shelves of books for anything that might help her. Many of the books were nonesense she didnt even bother with. Armando Dippet: Master or Moron?, Advanced Rune Translation, and Broken Balls: When Fortunes Turn Foul were things she couldnt use or were even remotely useful. Further back into the library Aludra found a few books that looked promising: Curses and Counter-curses
(Bewitch Your Friends and Befuddle Your Enemies with the Latest Revenges: Hair Loss, Jelly-Legs, Tongue-Tying, and Much, Much More), and Jinxes for the Jinxed, Olde and Forgotten Bewitchments and Charmes. ...6th Year Slytherin
