Now that Walter was done face palming, he slipped from backstage out of sight. He reappeared besides the judge table, his hands behind his back and light smile on his lips. Not to mention that dead look in his eyes, ah but he couldnt say he enterily hated this. He didnt feel bad for the others honestly, they had come to this island, and continued to live on it with a crazy a** inbred Mayor and his kin. He did feel bad for Shinju, but it was his job not to really show that now was it. Speaking of Jobs, thats why he took his place next to the judges table. A bit back, away from the camera's sight, but close enough that if any of the three needed something all they had to do was call him. Plus he had a better view of everything from over here. This would be really interesting and he hoped Tatayana got what she deserved and by that he meant Reinbach and his crazy a**. Least the girl seemed to want the riches, plus it would let the real Shinju go free.. and the others. Oh.. hope against hope.

Shinju was a little pleased to hear that, for the most part, the others' reactions were along the same lines as her own. She wasn't the only person who was slowly dying, it seemed, and she couldn't help but feel a little smug at Tatyana's reaction. Didn't seem like such a great deal anymore, now did it? But whatever sense of superiority she may have had vanished in an instance when the competition began and Alanis introduced her. She had become so used to hearing her name thrown around that it made her jump when it actually was referring to her. She glanced around nervously as the attention was focused on her for a moment. She could feel herself grow stiff, her hands begin to sweat, and her face pale. Stage fright. This was why she was never destined to be famous, she couldn't deal with so much attention at once. The question Alanis had asked her wasn't difficult by any means, and it was actually pretty simple. If it had been a smaller group of people, she probably would have said something snarky, but self-consciousness had replaced any irritation or inconvenience she had felt before. And so, she just stood there like a deer in headlights, opening and closing her mouth a few times and trying to say something, though it only came out as quiet, odd noises. "Err.. I... uhh... I guess... I don't.... Uhm... I don't know..." she finally finished a sentence, though by that point her voice had grown quiet and squeaky, and it probably wasn't even audible to the judges (thank god). If she were lucky, that would be it, and so the blonde shut up right away, staring down at her feet. She was embarrassed, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

This certainly was a shock – from the cameras, the people, and the pretty host that Benedek already hated to hell and back, the man was simply staring at it all with wide, curious eyes. His friend seemed rather bewildered, which made her less interesting and more of a nameless face in a manner of seconds – now it was just Benedek with himself. A thing he hated more and more as time passed, but, at the very least, the events were distracting himself from this fact. He even felt his mouth quirk slightly in a smile as he saw the girls stutter and fall over themselves to respond to the host – up until it was his turn to speak. ..It was hard to figure out just what Alanis was trying to ask him when she held the microphone up to him, but Benedek never had any problems blurting out whatever came to mind. This was why he had simply stated, loud enough for the microphone to lose it's use as a sound amplifier, “Yes, I have a superior p***s!” ..Why had he said that? Oh, well, he wasn't sure, but he did know that among a bunch of females with no p***s, his certainly had to be considered superior – right? Yes.. that made sense.. Better than the stutters the women were giving, at least – like stupid Julia had just after him. He gave a shake of his head and went back to surveying the area.

-Julia Beaumont-
This wasn't humiliating, it wasn't a term that really settled with the librarian. If was only that she would've gone along with this. No... the true reason for her panic wasn't that... it was her past. Her girl, fluffy, past... Oh that flashbacks... the horrible flashbacks of being a model. The torture... the ordering... the bossing around... the brain numbing music and the-p***s? Never mind that the actual Shinju doubts that she has advantage here, but... p***s? Julia's trip down memory lane was cut short by that comment. Surprisingly, it helped get someone at ease. But not at ease enough to not listen to the questions. A raise? A RAISE!? DAMN YOU A RAISE!! Julia narrowed her eyes to mere slits before shaking her head. "No... but I will kill you for this" she said with those narrow eyes. Alanis wouldn't take it to heart! This was the haunting memory talking, just that. What could they come up with? Julia had no clue... but if it was anything like the reminiscing was making her think it would be... she'd run... or hide behind Benedek. Either worked.

Tatyana was running her fingers back through her hair and trying to pull the rest of the crumbs out of her hair that still lingered when she realized that they were back on air. She raised an eyebrow at Alanis as she waltzed down the line asking each of them some dumb question. She shoved the thoughts of how stupid this all was when Alanis, and the camera, came his way. She smiled at the camera first and then to the hostess when she asked her her question. "Oh, no. I'm a very competitive person, it's true. But, I could never show off the girls to the whole town. That just wouldn't be ladylike." She didn't, however, think about how unladylike it was when she grabbed her boobs and moved them up and then back down as she said the girls. She should get extra points on the fact that she wasn't a stupid stutterer like the real Shinju. Maybe her attention hogging attitude would turn out useful for her for once in her life. She flipped her hair once again and turned to smile once more into the camera as Alanis moved away from her. Everyone needed to see her wonderful teeth, maybe there would even be a good smile part of this competition.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ALANIS LEBLANC LIKE TINY GODS RESTING ON MY WINDOWPANE ☆ ☆ ☆ WILL I EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN? ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
All of them were wonderful answers! However, So You Think You Can Shinju would not be as easy as to simply answer some questions! Oh no! In fact, as Alanis was now announcing it to the auditors, the four shinjus would have various challenges to win in order to be the Real Shinju! First off, Everyone knew that every princess couldn't sleep with a pea under 7 mattress, so for their challenge, they would have to rink 7 Gallon of water and not pee! Shinju lost that one. Then, they would need to sing a bunch of wild animals to sleep! And by wild animals, we meant the Bengal tiger family that were currently the new Florence of the season. Benedek was the looser of that round. The third and last challange, opposing Tatyana and Julia was.... Massaging the judges feet! Oh, such challenges! Such danger! Such grace, but still, not everyone could win! It was about time for Alanis to reveal the name of the winner!
"And the lucky girl, winning the title of Shinju and the right to marry the Great Schtolteheim Reinbach III is..... TATYANA VON KWIKT!", Fireworks! confetti! Balloons! Joy! Screams! Love! Cries! Tears! Everything was there! Oh, such a celebration! The first real Shinju of the island! The one and only - "Wait a Moment! She cannot Win!" Oh my! Plot twist! Could Reinbach had regain his sense? Oh, of course not. "By our family ancestral laws, only a blonde woman can marry into our family."
"Really?"
Yes."
"But... Only one of them is blonde..."
"Then she is the winner!"
"Well, then, everybody! Shinju is the Real Shinju!"

One may consider themselves lucky for surviving a Bengal Tiger attack, but Benedek was more concerned about the bruises, scrapes, and blood. The combination had him trembling and, oddly enough, giggling in a chair by himself, watching the other contestants finish the competition by themselves. Yes, this was precisely why reality wasn't nearly as fun. Reality hurt and threw him in cages of snarling, dangerous tigers – how could anyone look down on him for wanting to escape this? He found it funny, thinking of all the times his brothers would shake their head at him – oh, they wouldn't believe him. But, Benedek knew when he was off his pills – he could tell the second he woke up that day – and, so, he knew this wasn't just a hallucination. He was honestly hurt and he knew it, while everyone else had gone on with their fun and games. It was alright, though. He understood. Which was why, despite the panic clamoring about somewhere deep in his head, he still jumped up and cheered along with the audience when one of the girls won. Not Julia? Oh, well, he was fine with it. Just dandy. He only slowed his claps when it turned out the actual winner had lost even before him. What did she win again? Oh, well, Benedek could hardly be jealous about a prize he didn't know. “Now, now, blood be gone, yes?” He muttered in a pitch that constantly rose and fell before tottering off the stage and, hopefully, out of the mansion.

Shinju honestly had no idea what she was supposed to be feeling in a moment like this. She was still a little shellshocked from the whole reality-show-thing that was going on. Much to her (further) humiliation, she lost in the first round. Now, she wouldn't consider herself a competitive person, but even she knew that you weren't supposed to lose right away! Even when it was a competition she didn't necessarily want to win. And so she sat off by herself, and watched the others struggle their way through. Of course, when they brought out the tiger, she was quite relieved that she HAD failed, and one glance at Benedek told her that she was much better off. Actually, by the time the competition came to a close, Shinju was feeling completely relieved. She had lost, she wasn't eligible, so maybe now Reinbach would give up, and she could go back to her quiet life with her sister and her nephew and the coffee shop. So by the end of it, she had almost zoned out, going over what she was going to do when she could return home and not have to worry about getting kidnapped again. And when Tatyana was announced the winner, Shinju inwardly smirked. It was perfect, she seemed well suited, and best of all, it was someone other than herself. Reinbach could marry Tatyana, and she could carry on with her usual routine~
Oh, but it seemed that fate had other plans. At some point, Shinju had broken into a smile, almost overflowing with relief, but that smile vanished in a moment when Reinbach spoke up. No, no, she mentally urged him, sit down, you stupid man, don't say what I think you're going to say -- but he did, and the regrettably blonde woman's smile was quickly replaced with a distressed expression, as if she were on the verge of bursting into tears or fainting. In the end, even though she had lost, her stupid genes had gotten in the way, and she quickly covered her face with her hands. "I hate my life... Hate it!" she moaned as she slumped back in her chair, her entire body going slack. After about a year of struggling, Shinju was finally giving up, completely and entirely. She just didn't have the energy to do this anymore.
